모든게 너무나 완벽했던 호텔
위치, 룸서비스, 조식, 룸컨디션 모두 다 너무 좋았어요

저희 부부, 임신 31주차에 태교여행으로 가까운 홍콩으로 편한 여행을 위해 선택한 호텔이었는데요 우선 너무나 멋진 외관과 룸에 반해 선택했는데 위치도 침사추이 중심가에 있어서 너무나 편리했고 홍콩섬으로 가는 페리 선착장까지도 걸어서 5분, 그리고 페리타고 홍콩섬까지도 5분~ㅎㅎ
교통도 정말 너무 좋았답니다.
침사추이 시내는 뭐 호텔 바로 옆이구요~ 넓은 발코니에 나가서 시내 구경도 하고~ 호텔 아래부터 주위 건물은 다 명품샵에 쇼핑거리 천국이구요~
그리고 아침, 저녁으로 호텔 발코니에 나가 1881 Heritage 전망을 구경하는 것 또한 너무 좋았어요.
우선 방은 다른 호텔 크기의 2~3배나 되어서 넓구 발코니도 넓게 두 군데로(방쪽 발코니, 화장실쪽 발코니) 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 아침식사와 방 냉장고에 있는 음료 모두 다 공짜였는데 정말 너무나 만족스러웠습니다. 이틀 머무는 동안 첫날은 1층 레스토랑에서 아침식사를 했고 둘째날은 룸써비스 시켜서 발코니에서 먹었는데 이것 역시 레스토랑에서 먹을지 아니면 방에서 먹을지 선택할 수 있어서 너무 좋았어요.
아침식사는 1881 Hullett Breakfast로 추천받아 먹었는데 정말 빠진것 없이 너무나 든든한 식사였고 특히나 홈메이드 패스츄리는 너무나 맛있었습니다.
여행 2~3일 전에 갑작스럽게 알아보고 간 여행이라 만족스러울까 걱정스럽기도 했는데 정말 너무나 좋았고 그 이유중 첫번째는 아주 만족스러웠던 호텔이 있었기 때문일 듯해요. 다시 홍콩에 가게 된다면 주저없이 이 호텔에 머물거에요~ 대신 다른 방으로~(방마다 컨셉이 다르거든요~)

객식 하나하나 개성있는 인테리어가 마음에 들었습니다.
현대적이고 모던한 호텔들도 많지만 번화한것 보다 조용하고 클래식한 서비스를 받고 싶어서 선택했지요.
일단, 위치 좋습니다.
헤리티지 1881과 함께있으니 찾기도 쉽습니다.
단, 입구가 Kowloon Park Drive쪽에 나있으니 주의하시구요 들어가면 아무도 없어요.
짐 있으신 분은 입구에서 종을 흔들면 포터가 나오구요 리셉션까지 안내해 줍니다.
투숙객만 들어갈수 있게 카드키를 대고 3층 리셉션으로 갈 수 있구요.
키가 없을때에는 벨 누르시면 됩니다.
군더더기 없이 깔끔한 방과 푹신한 침대, 멋진 뷰의 테라스 무한제공인 미니바.
저는 조식 포함이라 훌륭한 조식을 룸에서 먹을 수있었습니다.
룸또는 식당 선택하실 수 있구요 전 조식트레이를 테라스로 옮겨와 햇빛받으며 먹었네요.
모두 친절하지만 대형 호텔만큼 서비스 하는 직원이 많지는 않아요. 그래서 자주 보는 얼굴들이 생겨 친밀감은 생기더라구요.
호텔 로비가 따로 있는것이 아니어서 체크아웃 하시고 대기하시거나, 화장실 이용은 어렵더라구요.
편안하고 조용한 여행을 원하시는 분들은 선택에 후회가 없으실 것 같습니다.

여행을 많이 다니는 사업 하는 사람으로써 홍콩은 아마도 7 번 이상 출장갔던 친숙한 곳이나, 홍콩 호텔의 특징이 전부 중앙냉방 시스템으로 창문을 열수가 없어서 항상 답답한 느낌이고 내가 새장에 갖혀 있다는 생각이 들게 하는게 전형적인 홍콩 호텔이라는 선입감이 있었음,작은 땅에 높은 건물을 지어야 하는 홍콩의 특수 상황에서 어쩔수 없는 선택이라고 생각하고 호텔에 대한 편안함은 홍콩에서는 기대 하지 않고 출장을 다녔는데 ? 아고다에서 이호텔을 보고 매우 비싸지만 한번쯤 가고 싶다는 욕망 하나만으로 클릭하고 예약을 했다.. 와이프에게 비싸다는 말도 못하고 택시 타고 호텔에 도착 할때 까지 아무말도 못하는 이심정,,,,그러나 호텔에 들어서자 마자 친절시작,체크인도 무지 하게 세련되게,호텔방에 와서 모두 설명 하는 검은양복 미남매니져,,팁을 주면 오히려 혼날것 같은 세련된 분위기, 완전 기죽었음, 호텔 보호 차원에서 모든 구역 금연,,,-황당함- 발코니 사진보고 갔는데 모든 발코니 금연이란다.. 미쳐 내가!!..할수없이 가까운 홍콩만 까지 가서 담배 피우는 수고를 마지 않고 호텔에 2박하였으니 나도 내가 생각하기에 대견함, 호텔밑에 있는 상점 부터 호텔을 끼고 있는 모든 거리에 명품샵들을 보고 기죽음, 엄청 화려 하고 무지 비싸 보여서 아이쇼핑만 했음 - 얼핏 보기에도 물건 종류가 한국보다 많은것 같았음, 홍콩만에 걸어서 5분이면 가는데 그 쇼핑센터의 식당을 지하부터 4층 까지 섭렵함. 홍콩은 중국음식 보다 쇼핑몰에 있는 양식과 일식이 더 좋은것 같고 품질도 한국보다 좋은것 같음 - 물론 가격은 한국과 비슷해 보임. 유명한 딤섬바를 못간게 후회됨, 호텔 선택은 후회가 없음. 다음에 또 가라고 하면 이번에는 비싸서 못가겠음

걸어서 5분거리에 홍콩만 (항?) 에 있는 쇼핑센터-GATEWAY 가 무지 넓고 식당관련 지도가 의외로 정확함 - 일식집과 양식 2 군대를 갔는데 전부 신속하고 정확한 써빙이 돋보임,음식도 아주 좋음 -식당이 한 30 군데 정도 있는데 다양한 먹거리가 있었음 - 강추함

Great hotel yet far from luxury.
Heritage architecture at prime location.

1. The building: we believe this got to be one of the best heritage hotels in Asia.
2. Interior: beautifully and historically restored? huge room but with some undersigned spaces.
3. Management: no key cards, peeled ceilings, broken floors, missing tea cups and pot and etc.
4. Services: not up to standard! the receptionist picked up only 1 out of 3 of our calls. when we asked for a second blanket most likely the housekeeping would be off duty. she would also loudly sigh if we call twice for the same request. as for the rate, we are allowed to check out only 30 minute late?! in summary, the service is definitely not 'luxury' or 'leading hotel'! we had much better service from a tiny business hotel in Mongkok.
5. F&B: the breakfast is no doubt THE best in Hong Kong, especially if you have it on your magnificent balcony.

incredible hotel with genuine history and character. not only does it offer amongst the best service i have experienced, but provides something few others can, a real piece of hong kong's story.
breakfast on the terrace, sitting in the sun, overlooking the island and watching the world below was a particular highlight.
i had a great champagne brunch in the parlour with friends, highly recommend if staying here or otherwise.

Great hotel with horrendous service!
Well-appointed and very spacious room with a harbour-facing balcony

My wife stayed at the Hullett House on the night before our wedding with her bridesmaids. As part of Chinese tradition, they put up "double happiness" paper cuttings on the doors and inside the guestroom with double-sided tape. The very moment myself and the groomsmen approached the guestroom to collect her, a suited guy who turned out to be the duty manager sternly asked us to remove the paper cuttings and redo them with blu tak and that we will be liable for all damage they have caused to the doors.
When we took pictures on the hallway, the same manager complained that we were taking too long and causing a nuisance to other guests.
When we checked out that same manager delayed the process in order to make sure they can recover all damages from us immediately, so much so our wedding day schedule was almost delayed. This is despite the fact that they have a credit card guarantee on hand.
This is a hotel costing upwards of US$600 per room per night on Agoda rates. The room itself is probably worth more than that but the service is simply the WORST of the members of "Leading Hotels of the World". I would recommend that the same industry group consider striking it off its rank asap!

Great hisoric hotel and great location.
Beautiful rooms with terrace and nice view, nice surroundings, great breakfast.

This historic hotel is beautiful. It has only 10 rooms which are finely decorated and large in size for Hong Kong standard. The property also beautiful and each room has a lovely terrace with view. Their breakfast was nice, especially sitting outdoors.
It was interesting going through the hotel learning about its history, and the grounds are nice with a historic feel.
The stay was wonderful aside from a severe flooding problem with each daily shower. It occurred in both rooms I stayed in. Considering how great the hotel is, this plumbing problem was surprising and unacceptable during my whole stay. I feel a credit toward the bill or even my next stay, or any kind of compensation or nice gesture should have been given for the big inconvenience. The gentleman in management was very nice and acknowledged the issue which felt better, but other staff seemed to ignore it and turned away with no apology, I'm sure because they couldn't do anything about it anyway. If not for this I could have given all 5's.
I would like to stay there again but of course after the plumbing problem is resolved. It's a lovely hotel.

The location is perpect just near by shopping center, harbour city. The room is quite big with high ceiling. The balcony is big too. Everything was perfect if no noise form out side of hotel. During I stay, workers installed christmas tree.

This a piece of paradise in the most stunning spot of Hong Kong. The service was exceptional and personalised. The rooms were exceptional I could not fault anything. Best place I have ever stayed.
