Avoid the Hotel like a plague

Avoid the hotel. I booked the hotel for 2 nights as it was close to the airport and my friends place. I had made the booking through Agoda, the receptionist outright declined the booking, its only after i took my stand that they confirmed the booking. The hotel is way over priced for its rooms, the rooms are in shabby state. As i have shown in the pics, the AC had spit stains, the floor as well as wall was unclean and the washroom had dirty taps and shower. The bed was broken on the right side, and the bed used to shake a bit whenever some heavy vehicle passed by the vicinity of the hotel. The rood is super expensive, although the service is quick, the staff expects a tip every time they enter the room and dont leave without it (May be coz the hotel does not get many guests).
There are better hotels for the price, please avoid the hotel at any cost

i had visited the hoel on 1 january for a business meeting in delhi . i found the staf very polite & liked the service for the same.usally i see the older the hotel it gets the amenities n activites decreases. but seeing ashok palace with ample of activites a sepearte travel desk counterwith good knowledge,a well maintained lounge cum libary & all and all just few kms from pragati maidan where there was fare
all i need to say is a very good ,unique hotel

if you have a choice, skip this hotel
located in a quiet area of Delhi

The hotel has rooms that aren't the most spacious i've stayed and and are dated.
Please be prepared for the most basic, and old, furnishings and for staff that will refuse to leave untill you tip them - despite the fact that there is a 10% service charge added to every bill!
The charges for food and laundry are outrageous and are on par with hotels several times the star category. I would never stay here again!
