The room was quite big, clean with modern equipment. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a broad viarity of food.

Hotel is 15 minutes walk to Alexander platz, 5 minute walk to nearest station "Hausvogteiplatz" in which is just around the corner. Near this station there is an excellent bakery with all the best breads, sandwiches and cake Berlin has to offer. Room Room was very small (231) would not recommend for a couple but as a single traveller just about adequate. Considering the price they charge was quite disappointed with this room paid almost £70 on Agoda (no breakfast either). There is no separate bathroom but rather a shower cubicle built in to the wall, Toilet cubicle built into the wall and a sink right in the room behind the desk which is also one side of the bed. Bed does not have bed side table which was inconvenient if you like a drink closeby but was comfortable. There is only a small box of amenities that is ear buds, shower hat but no body lotion and soap is fixed wall in the shower. There was no complimentary bottled water at this hotel. The only a boutique feel to this room was the artistic bed head board and sink design. Room though was clean and quiet at night. TV worked well with 95% German channels. Facilities WIFI is free but only at a speed at 512mb so was rather slow and only for emails - wont work for streaming TV. You can choose to pay more though for faster speeds. Other facilities include 24 hour gym on top floor and saunas but only from 4pm-11pm but didn't get a chance to review this. There is a bar and restaurant by the lobby with boutique rocking chairs and looks rather cool. However expect to pay a lot more for your beer and sausage compared to a local authentic German bar. Staff Staff were adequately friendly at least at reception but not in other areas of the hotel, for instance in bar, lifts or floor- staff do not acknowledge you by saying anything- poor CS overall. However check-in was smooth and staff are helpful.
