위치는 아테네 국제공항에서 30분 정도 걸리는 위치에 있으며 시내중심과는 지하철로 4정거장이며 걸어서도 갈만한 거리임. 약 30분정도 소요. 호텔이 차도와 가까워 조금 시끄러운 편이지만 귀에 거슬릴정도는 아님.
관광명소 정보:
아테네에서 유명한 장소는 모두 걸어서 다닐만함. 광장주변은 부랑자로보이는 사람이 많아 주의 요함. 가볼만한 곳은 손에 꼽기 때문에 1-2박정도적당함.

아테네 크리스탈 씨티호텔
무엇보다 시내 교통의 중심지인 Metaxourgio Square Metro역에서 불과 200m로 가깝고 오모니아역과 한정거장, 신타그마 역까지 세정거장이어서 우선 교통이 매우 편리하다는 점이 가장 큰 장점이다. 그리고 가격에 비해 객실과 욕실이 깨끗하고 식당이 좋다는 점이 장점이다.

교통과 객실, 욕실, 식당 등 여러 면에서 훌륭한 호텔이다. 단지 주변 교통량이 너무 많고 방음이 부족해서 약간 시끄럽다는 점과 엘레베이터가 너무 작다는 점이 옥의 티라고 할 수 있는데, 그래도 가격 대비해서 생각하면 관광이나 비지니스 양쪽 모두 추천할 만 하다.
관광명소 정보:
지하철을 타고 세정거장 떨어진 신타그마역에서 내리면 되지만 직접 걸어가도 아크로폴리스까지 걸을만하다.

Good priced hotel next to subway

It was a good stay. From the airport, take Blue line to the Red line and get off at Metaxourghio (ΣΤ.ΜΕΤΑΞΟΥΡΓΕΙΟΥ). When you come out of the Metro (subway), take the way up to Karaiskaki Sq. Walk straight, then around the corner to the right on to Achilleos. The hotel will right there. Big Signage. If you googlemap the hotel, it is wrong. Takes you to other side of Karaiskaki. As for the stay, only two issues. One, I paid extra for the triple room. They gave us the two person room because we were only two people. I asked for the larger room but wasn't possible. Second, the hot was not working on the first morning. We had a high floor that was farthest from the elevator. The plus, is a nice view, the downside apparently the farther you are from the first floor, the chance there is no more hot water. The nice lady at the front desk blamed "too many kids that used all the water". I did tell her will they post on-line when there are too many kids staying? She promised there were not any big groups of kids the next day. We did wake up later and there was some hot water. But not a good flow. You can walk to the Acropolis from hotel, but you do go through some shady areas. Safer to take the Metro. It's fast and inexpensive.

This was a relatively nice and clean hotel, within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. However, you could find a hotel in the same price range in the very cute and walkable area around the acropolis. Also, internet didn't work which made the hotel not worth the money for us, since internet is important (or at least an option for internet)

Cheap but in the worst environment ever

After 10pm the area is empty (impossible to find a decent restaurant within walking distance). It is definitely not the safest but the hotel offers really cheap prices. Facilities are pretty clean but the rooms are very old-fashioned. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I felt so uncomfortable in the neighborhood that I will not go back there.

the hotel is a bit far from city downtown but it does not affect us at all since a metro station is just one minute walk away from hotel! with a daily pass, u can go almost all important sightseeing spots within 20mins.
if u want wifi access, lobby is the only free place and the speed can drive u nuts!
breakfast is okay, u can fill your stomach with a big load of bread milk cheese slices and some vegi.
absolutly a great deal for staying in! their rooftop garden has a beautiful view towards acropolis, dinner there is enjoyable and checkin guests can have a 30% off discount, niceeeee!

i loved staying here. the people at the front desk were very helpful, the rooms were clean and nice. the free breakfast was wonderful, lots of foods to choose from. there was free wifi in the lobby, which was comfortable except for the occasional smoker. the location was good because it was close to the metro station. only 2km from the acropolis, we walked everywhere. it was an adventure wandering the market streets. i can see why some people are nervous walking around, athens is a big city and you will see a few wierd people. we had no trouble at all.
