5 stars service for the staff”
This is not a 5 star resort but the staff is no nice and helpful that make our stay a five star stay. The facility is clean and neat. The breakfast is great. Not a buffet, but we can preoder the compliment breakfast, including apetizer, soup/salad, drink, tea/coffee, fruit and desert. It's a dinner to me, not a breakfast. Will definitely come back when visiting Borobudur again.

The best hotel and resort!”
We chose to stay at Amata because of its close proximity with Mendut Temple and Mendut Monastery. But it is also not that far from Borobudur temple. The resort is small and homey but beautiful, well maintained and very peaceful. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, the staffs are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers nice selection of delicious food and beverage with reasonable price. We ate breakfast lunch and dinner there because the food are so good. We stayed for 5 nights there and will definitely come back and stay longer next time

Well located and not too far from the local attractions. Lots to see during the morning walk along the padi field. Staffs were polite and welcoming. Able to speak English and that helps. The rooms are clean and they have an amazing pool.

Beautiful Resort Hotel”
We stayed at this hotel in early August 2020. The touristic destination we wanted to visit was Borobudur temple and Amata Borobudur Resort was our choice. The hotel is located in a rice field area that can be enjoyed by cycling with the family. Surprisingly, our room was upgraded. The staffs were very friendly; they even lent my child some coloring pencils and printed some pictures for her to color (thank you to Ms. Elizabeth). The hotel staff provided some guidance on other activities that can be done at that place. Our family chose a tour using a classic VW car to visit touristic villages and several temples. The swimming pool was clean and nice. There was a souvenir shop that my child really liked. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a classic Javanese-style restaurant which provided us a delicious ala carte breakfast in generous portions. We will definitely come back to stay here. Thank you, Amata!

Great resort”
Stayed here for one night in August 2022 Pros: 1) This is a high end resort with excellent amenities. 2) The décor of the lobby/restaurant is very well done. 3) The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and very clean. 4) The front desk staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful with all our travel needs. 5) The WIFI was free with excellent speed and connectivity. 6) Tariff is reasonable. 7) The place is quiet and sleep quality great. Cons: 1) The place is a bit far away from the temple. It is 5 kms away and you will need your own transport to get around. 2) There are not many transport/eating/shopping choices close to the hotel. 3) The restaurant service is extremely slow. We had to routinely wait close to an hour for our food. 4) Breakfast starts late by Indonesian standard. Everywhere else we had a 6 am breakfast. Here we had to wait till 7 am.

Exceptional”
Had a wonderful stay at the Amata Resort and amazed by the quality of service, facilities, and food. This was one of the best places we have stayed in a long time and with the challenges of COVID, we were impressed by how they were able to keep up such a high standard and quality in service. What sets a place apart is the attention to detail and this resort did not disappoint from all aspects. Not only were the staff professional and service oriented, they were incredibly personable, genuine, and friendly. The bungalows were immaculately clean which is a very challenging task in general from my previous experiences staying in bungalows. Also kudos to the kitchen and wait staff, the food was fresh and delicious. Well done, Amata Resort! Thank you for your hospitality and we will be back!

Comfy and Perfect Place”
We love our staying at Amata for 4 nights.. the staffs are super friendly and helpful, the Joglo villa, even though it is made of wood, is super clean! And they have smartTv where we can access netflix and youtube. Amata also has various outdoor activities which we can easily register too. We has a perfect amd memorable holiday, and part of it because we stayed at Amata. Thank you, Amata! We love you!

the perfect place to get java authentic atmosphere”
our choice to stay for the honeymoon in yogyakarta circa, and we get excellence services & facilities, regret for nothing. here are our details, marked as the best of Amata Borobudur: 1. the surrounding sanctuary as "joglo" house design, it's remind me as my grandfather's house, opening my childhood memories, really stunning and fascinating. 2. all the facilities are superb (all of them), i mean, we pay as 3 star resort, but definitely get 5 star resort. really like it. 3. "the services" , start from our arrival, we've got welcome drink (a glass of lemon tea). and The hospitality, amiable and nimble deft from all the resort staff during stay, like: notice for adding service if needed, swimming pool preparation when we want to swim,. love them. 4. "the breakfast", obviously, not only full tummy, the taste are good, we've got a la carte for 5 diff. menu, and so far everything are yummy tasty all the combinations are making our perfect honeymoon. Worth the price!! ”
A pleasant check-in experience comes with welcome drinks and snacks while waiting for them to check the room. I can say that all the staff was really really friendly and accomodating. Great restaurant ambience with a Joglo architecture design, food was tasty, a proper portion for the price range, big breakfast portion!! even we can't finish all the food. The rooms were slightly bigger than a hotel room size nowadays, comes with a terrace (but too bad nothing to look at). The bathroom is lovely, comes with a huge bathtub!! Overall experience was great, but I hope they can make it better since it has the potential to be a proper resort !!

You will not be lost, the hotel staffs are friendly. You can ask anything and they will help you. Small hotel but good in location, near to Candi Mendut and not too far from Borobudur. The hotel have some space for improvement, especially on the menu. But overall, i have a good experience stayed in the hotel.
