"We booked through Agoda and got a great discount as opposed to the rack rates. If you manage your expectations well (this isn't a 5-star hotel), Amami will leave you impressed and satisfied with their customer service, accommodations, and facilities. Rooms are outfitted with a mini fridge; drinking water; bathroom with hot and cold shower, hand soap, body wash; 1 double bed and 1 single bed; 2 electric fans. As a backpacker who's used to sleeping on tents or hammocks, these already feel like luxury to me. The restaurant is also good; I would rate it a 7.5/10 for taste and serving size. We tried their Szechuan chicken, breaded pork chop, fish mediterranean, bolognese, tuna salad, and roasted potatoes--and we recommend all of them! (the mango mojito and mango margarita too!) They could use some improvements on the breakfast fare though. Once, the scrambled eggs were overdone/dry and a little bland. Fabio and the staff were great--helpful and friendly all the time. All in all, a great vacation for our little family. Wouldn't mind going back!"

"We had the best stay at Aninuan Beach Resort that we didn't want to leave and were very disappointed we only went for a weekend. From the time you arrive to when you leave the staff make you feel welcomed and will go out of there way for you. We were only there for a weekend so didn't leave the resort but we had everything we need right there anyway. The snorkelling off the beach is ok, we saw lots of fish but I've seen better coral. They don't have snorkelling stuff for young children (age 3-7 years) so bring your own. But the have heaps of sand playing stuff so you don't need to bing your and they supply beach towels for you as we'll. There was also nothing better then sitting back having a cocktail or two watching the sunset. It is one of the most beautiful sunsets I've watched. We will come back to Aninuan Beach Resort another time for sure. "

"The location in Aninuan beach, Puerto Galera was amazing! It is not too crowded unlike in White beach, where water sports and activities are all there. Staffs were all friendly and very accomodating. They also offer water activities. However, their price is too expensive for that. The room is really spacious , very clean and white, just choose to book room 10 or 11 if you like sea view. They also have pool bar in front, near the shore. The water in the beach is clear and blue. In the morning, it is windy but in the afternoon, you can enjoy and dip in the calm sea. It would be better if their large rooms have minibar and safe. From Aniuan beach to White Beach, it's about 4km. You can rent a motorcycle or look for a tricycle going to your destination. Bring smaller bills especially when you eat outside. "

"This is my first time to answer survey and I'm happy to take part as I am really pleased with my family's experience in the hotel. Best value for my money. Same rate with that of those in White Beach but this resort comes with an infinity pool and is located in a quiet area. Ideal for family specially for those travelling with young kids. They also have a nice view of Aninuan sunset. I highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Puerto Galera. They also provide free shuttle to pick you up and drop you off to Muelle port. Water activities are also available. I suggest you look for kuya Jess, hotel staff. He's really accommodating and helpful and can give you a good deal. You'll find everything you need here. Staffs are really nice and breakfast is great. Unlike other hotels that comes with cheap breakfast just to claim that they have it included in your accommodation."

"LOCATION > Peaceful. Far from the loud and annoying sounds of White beach. > Even though it is a little bit far from White Beach, you could ask the staff (anytime from morning - 10PM) to bring you to the beach. You also don't need to worry on how you would return to the resort. They will give you their driver's number and all you have to do is to text them once you're ready to be picked up. Very convenient! ROOM > As a couple, I thought the room is too big for us. It is spacious enough for 4-5 persons. They had nice bathroom (w/ cold and hot showers) and pocket wifi that you could bring outside, even on the beach. Amazing! The view outside the room is magnificent. You could see the mountain and the beach. Very relaxing. ACTIVITIES > They have archery, ATV and can also arrange you for a mountain trekking. We tried archery and we had fun since it is our first time. It is 300 per hour. I also enjoyed the trek to Aninuan Falls. The tour itself is free, you just have to pay 20 for the Falls entrance. It was a 30-45 minutes (exhausting) trek but the view at the end is totally worth it. The falls is breath-taking. I gave a 100 pesos tip to the tour guide since we really enjoyed his company. > They have a swimming pool for kids and adults. Up to 6 feet deep. You could also ask them to prepare the jacuzzi if you want to. The pool steward is up until 12 midnight. You could also play billiards, btw. > I recommend for you to visit the Aninuan beach. For me, it is way better than white beach and is less crowded. SERVICE > Staff are very hands-on with their guest. Just tell them what you need and they will help you with smile on their faces. > They have a tree top restaurant (facing the sea) that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had 20 percent discount on our breakfast and the food is not bad at all. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. I got the room at a discounted price (they have promos all throughout the year) and the staff are really accommodating. I'm glad I chos"

"Dennis and staff were so attentive and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Food was great home-cooked. The fruit shakes are some of the best I've ever had. Rooms were airy and comfy. The water pressure in the bathroom was a little low and the door squeaked but nothing major. The location is at the end of the road/beach so it was a quiet pristine beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6d/5n there. It felt like home away from home where we could just chill (and in a paradise-like setting). Dennis also recommended Irene as our massage therapist and she was excellent. Highly recommend her if you are staying either at Talipanan beach, White beach, or Aninuan Beach (she is based in Aninuan and will travel). We'll definitely go back to Bamboo House when we're back in Puerto Galera. Thank you Dennis & staff for everything!"

"I booked it based on stars and the fact that it is touted to be a spa with great cuisine. The Spa " creeped me out" my gf said ....:( we never saw anyone avail the use of the spa. The fusion cuisine of Europe and Aisa was odd..... The pasta served Luke warm :( The sandwiches a gooey mess But... If you love Filipino food your in heaven My GF said it was the best Sisig she had ever had The pinakbet and sinigang were to die for So just stick to basic fare This place could be a five star hotel. The buildings and grounds support this Sadly the mind set of the majority of the staff is stuck in a " I'm from the province " mode "
