Pleasurable stay in San Li tun Beijing”
Discovered a pearl - Asia Hotel is great - very accommodating to a Westerner. Real joy to stay there, and it was 3C at night this week and loved the down comforter in the room. I even try to see where that was made as I liked it so much. Was on an overnight trip to the Embassy area, so had a room service deliver food, good quality - good internet connection. Breakfast was also a surprise catering to both Asian, Chinese and Western palates. I had a healthy breakfast and coffee that left a great feeling when i checked out. Highly to recommend.

i choose asia hotel once more, because of it´s location. it is in walking distance to my beijing office, and also in walking distance to san li tum bar street. what came in quite handy was the late check out option (3:00 pm) as my flight was departing in the evening. one con is the old tv set, i could not connect my movie box via hdmi. i believe in 2010, all 5 star hotels should be equipped with flat-screen tv's of reasonable size. i arrived a bit late, so i can not comment on the complimentary drinks and food on the executive floor. but from the past experience, the food (snacks) was quite good, whereas the drink selection is rather poor. cons - old tv set

Good Value and Good Location”
I am a regular visitor to Beijing on business but this is the first time I have stayed in the Asia Hotel. I chose the Asia for the Agoda price. On arrival check in was friendly and quick. The room was clean and well equipped. Throughout my stay all staff were friendly and courteous. I wood be happy to stay there again at a similar price.

Great Location and was good value for money”
I have stayed here several times over the last few months and have been happy with the staff service and value for money. However between the time of my last visit and my writing this review I have seen that the price has suddenly risen by 40% - 50%. So sorry Asia Hotel but your prices no longer offer value for money and it is time for me to look for another hotel on my next visit to Beijing.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while we were enjoying the nightlife in Beijing. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable and the location was a bit out of the Sanlitun area but still a quick taxi cab drive away. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Good but Airport Shutttle”
The Saty in ASIA Hotel was good. AGODA say they have Airport Shuttle. I booked this with Flight number etc. and wait in Beijing airport am 00.50 to be picked up but no one's there. I could either wait one hour in the Taxi line or pay € 70,00 for a driver.

Chinese New Year fireworks infront our window”
We visit this hotel for Chinese new Year. Because of high floor view we could enjoy fireworks from our window even if children were sleeping. Close to subway, close to embassy area, close to bar street. Rooms are bigger, hotel is clean.

Stressful”
My stay was pleasant, however some of the amenities that brought me to this hotel were not present, which was disappointing. If you are coming to the hotel after reading that they have a jacuzzi and steam room, do not bother. They do have a small pool to do laps in which is nice and a few weight machines and two treadmills. In my experience there was not normally anyone in the fitness center so you didn't have to wait to use a treadmill or anything. It was disappointing to learn that I could not take a soak in the hot tub after my workout as I often do at home. The staff has never heard of a jacuzzi or hot tub so I'm not sure why they have it listed on their website as an amenity. I would look to Agoda to change this information. There is a small sauna that fits 2 in the dressing room but they had it turned off and the amount of time it took to heat up to a sauna temperature was not worth it so I headed up to my room to take a shower after 10 minutes of nothing instead. Definitely not relaxing. The rooms are very nicely set up however you will have everything you need up there. The concierge speaks english and is helpful but the rest of the staff struggles which is a little surprising as it is advertised as international. Do not try and order room service unless you use the breakfast card and hang it on your door. Took me 10 minutes to try and order and when it finally arrived the price on the bill was wrong and I only got one of the two dishes I ordered. Breakfast was good and came on time. Room service staff is very polite.

I have stayed here on my last 3 or 4 visits to Beijing based on the Agoda price and value for money. Over the last few trips the customer service has steadily improved. OK - the rooms have signs of wear but the bed is comfortable and the linen good quality. As long as the price stays at current prices I would have no hesitation in returning again.

hotel has a really very good location, close to workers stadium in beijing. rooms are almost newly renovated and almost brand-new. clean and tidy. very nice swimming pool, gym too small. good and free internet connection. whils staff are willing to help, they speak little english, forget to return your credit card etc. the hotel offers value for money, but would offer even more with rooms 20% cheaper than what i paid. overall very ok, i might consider coming back, but only if price is similar or lower. if price goes higher, i will shop around, there are other alternatives in beijing for a business traveler who wants location, newly decorated rooms, free internet, and value for money.

comfortable stopover in beijing”
needed a stopover in Beijing to pick up some things locally before returning to Europe. Got to the airport at rush hour, the hotel is easily reachable with the Airport Express and one metro stop on line 2 (total travel time, less than 1/2 hour, and 27 Yuan). I had an additional suitcase the following day, so I took a taxi and I was at the airport (it was 8.00 AM on a saturday) in 35 minutes and 77 Yuan. It was easy to go out in the evening for some food and entertainment (Sunlintun area is nearby)

Close to Sunlitun Area”
Enjoy our stay here for 2 nights. The regular room is not big but quiet and comfortable. We needed to be close to a restaurant in Sunlitun area so we could have a drinking night. Nice to find the hotel parking is free and it's reasonably priced for a central location. Hope this helps!
