"This is arguably the best resort we have been in. The owners, Sir Ronnie and Ms. Charo is the best in making us feel at home. They always make sure that everything we need is arranged ahead of time, and everyone in the resort is so hospitable. The place is so clean, very quiet, and has delicious food on their menu. "We originally booked for 5 nights for the tail end of our time in the Philippines and extended our stay for 2 more nights as it was such a great place to be. The perfect place to relax on the beach, have a few drinks and snacks, have a dip in the water and repeat!! The owners were we very friendly, helpful and flexible; making you feel like part of the family. Tablas Island is the largest island in the Romblon region and Footprints is a fair way away from the Ferry Port and Airport but that is all part of Island life, all the nicer accomodation is situated away from those areas unfortunately. Renting scooters isn't as readily available as most islands, Footprints offer 2 scooters on site for convenience on a first in first served basis. Was a great stay! "

"More bn pleased. The speedboat motor ride to the Airport was A+, thanks to the captain and his assistant. Food and service was great and cheap. Most important issue to bring up this resort is an EOE (in the US it's known as Equal Opportunity Employer). I was very pleased to see one of the servers who is 7 months pregnant. Thanks Will and Ira Kaye. That's good business practices. Kudos to both of you."

"It was our first time on the island and didn't know anything aside from reviews from other people. This place is great if you want to get away from the noise, pollution and crowded city. Ateng bantay was so nice and accommodating. She even toured us to Binucot beach riding on motorcycles. Her cooking was awesome too. Just request for any meal and pay once you're about to checkout. I loved the experience on the beachfront during low tide..so many sea creatures that indicate their coast is still clean. Sea urchins, star fish, different shells were everywhere..you can eat them if you like, at no cost, which is expensive in restaurants. I got excited when I saw their little boat that you can rent for 100/hr. Unfortunately, I was not able to rent it since we lacked time to do so. The only issue I had was the salty shower...but tolerable. I'd definitely go back if given a chance."

"My best experience in PH. Carabao Island. No signal. No electrity. No hot water. No fan. No aircon. Only the nature and grear people. New friends: Jack, Jane. James. Hony and baby Luna. Carabao backpacker guesthouse for new experience. Eating and drinking and looking stars. Asking a Aeta family to help to clean the beach after the typhoon and give them food for 20. Jumping 15m cliff. Hunting a starfishes. Smelling the pur fresh air. No noize. No gas smell. Seriously every human need to try This experience on Carabao island. "

"It’s not difficult to get to Tablas. Just book with Cebu Pacific and get picked up by the resort from the airport — easy! Drive to the resort is about an hour and 15mins. There’s so much to see so it’s not going to be a boring ride. The resort is what it is in the photos. It’s quiet and the water is serene and clear. The restaurant and bar offers a wide range of choices from food and drinks so there’s really a lot for you to choose from. They also offer the catch of the day which was lapu-lapu during my stay. I had it grilled side with vegs! You can go snorkelling, paddle-up boarding, there’s a few bar games too such as pool, table tennis, darts, cards against humanities, uno and the likes. The happy hour selections, beers and cocktails are also good! Lastly, my stay was made extra special by the staff and the managing/owner Kasha. I felt so at home. It’s the people that makes a place feel like home so thank you once again Tablas Point. Looking forward to coming back soon!"
