"Bsharre is on a mountain so everything involves walking uphill at some stage! The tiger tree is high up so abit of a trek from the bus stop, but that also means you have a fantastic view. The lady running it is lovely and will answer any questions you have. Breakfast is available and coffee when requested. I had a dorm bed and the room was spotless, the place is cleaned every day. I would certainly stay again. The whole Qadissa valley is beautiful. "

"We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment with garden view and it was huge! Next time would pay the bit extra for mountain view because it is a stunning view over tiered orchards and across the Qadisha valley. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Room was warmed up before we got there which was great for the wintry weather. Full size kitchen was fully stocked with all needed to self-cater. The Carmela restaurant downstairs was great: yummy Lebanese food for very reasonable prices. Loved the fattoush and spicy potatoes with coriander, as well as the house arak. Great stay."

"Nice location, clean hotel....but way way out of proportion concerning value for money. Very basic rooms with no facilities as minibar, coffee/tea station, no airconditioning, no hairdryer. Two third of the menucard is not available at night, very basic and simple breakfast....no fresh fruit, no cereals, no yoghurt. If the room would be 50 us dollar then it would be a fair price....they are pricing themselves out of the market this way. - after our complains we got a discount and a plus point is that the management was open for feedback."
