Fantastic and personalise service”
Staffs are very helpful and kind. They had prepared sandwich and drink for me when I have to leave the hotel way before the breakfast time. A jar of different drink and weather forecast for the next day was also placed in my room when I came back from my tour daily. Breakfast was nice. Images of the hotel was exactly as shown in their webpage. However, it will be good to have a fridge in the room as I always crave for cold drinks during the hot summer.

Bit tricky to find at first. It's down a small entry but look for the blue door at the end and you've found it. Have a map ready. Taxis cannot drive to the hotel so be prepared to get dropped off on the main road and walk to the hotel. Only meters away from the main busy Nanluoguxiang alley which is full of retail, restaurants and bars. The hotel is quiet and does not feel like you would be so close to a busy alley. Perfect location and walking distance to Houhai, drum and bell towers.

Broken AC and bath tube”
Beautiful boutique hotel but AC was broken, dropping water. Bath tube made a lake in the bathroom. I was given a discount on the transport to the great wall but still disappointed.

It's a little touristy, can be super crowded, but love every moment of it. The hotel is tucked away from all the noise and people. You get a little slice of oasis in the middle of the old hutongs.

Seeing that we had a lot of luggage with us, the team automatically upgraded us to a bigger room so that we are more comfortable. Cozy and clean rooms with heater in the room and shower for cold seasons. Delicious breakfast, whipped up upon order. Great location, in the middle of the Hutongs.

Staff was extremely friendly and able to set up all our transfers to and from airport. The morning breakfast is a tasty way to start the day and the espresso machine is on point. Location is spectacular and literally anything you want is within walking distance if you are capable of walking up to 3 mi. Outside of temple of heaven it is all walkable and easy city bike rentals are close by.

Good staff, terrible location, small smelly room”
Even though the staff is excellent and very helpful, the location is very inconvenient (no taxi can enter close to the hotel, at least 0min walk), and the closest metros are 10min walk away when there is no crowd, and there is ALWAYS crowd, so count 20min to get to your overcrowded public transportation. The room is very small for such a high price (could fit the bed, the luggage, and then impossible to walk in the room.), and the humidity in the room makes it very smelly (like mold). Also construction going around and thin wall which makes it a noisy room. All and all would not recommend for this price.

Great location on a quiet hutong. Short walk to shops, restaurants and metro. Good breakfast served in your room. Floor was dusty but otherwise clean. Good toilet and shower. Our ground floor rooms were quite small and very basic but served our needs adequately: a place to shower, sleep and eat breakfast.

Lovely building wtih rooftop and balcony and good interior design. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Clean. Bathroom water pressure a bit weak though. Only a 8-minute walk to the subway station, good location. Easy traffic to airport and common tourist attrations. Many souvenir shops, cafes and food stores to spend a day with.

Pros: Near to shopping street with lots of food choices and souvenirs shopping. Although not extremely near subway station but the shops along the way makes you forget about the distance. Very beautiful traditional unique stay. Cons: Road access is closed from morning until 10pm due to shopping street hence inconvenient for those who can’t walk.

我們住的房間只有浴缸，第一天晚上衣服都脫了才發現完全沒有熱水，聯絡櫃檯人員後只好頂著0度的寒風前往其他棟的浴室洗澡；第二天晚上經過維修後的水龍頭變成只有超燙的熱水，完全沒有冷水，最後只好在浴缸放涼熱水再洗，非常克難！ 這種價位的房間卻提供這麼糟糕的洗浴體驗，真的不太開心！

首先地點非常方便 在南鑼鼓巷主街旁 旺而不鬧 服務員有禮也helpful. 重點是設計得太美啦，四合院融合現代的設計感 太喜歡 用了大半天在酒店裡拍拍。房里也是一應俱全。可惜天氣冷 不能在小露台坐坐。下一次161樂在會是首選～
