Pros: 15 min walk from subway, cheap, comfortable Cons: because i booked the cheapest room and expected it to be like the costliest one i was disappointed. Room floor is clean, only walls were a bit dirty Basically if you book a costier room of course it will be better. But nice staff and cleaning ladies Felt warm welcome. 😊 Wouldn't mind staying again!

I booked a standard !!! room !!! for three nights a month ahead. But when we got there, the staff arrange us to an awful youth apartment with sharing bathroom, which was not the same as the booking page showed. I quited after one night and left my phone to receive their explanation and appology. But until now, there is no answer.

Above average”

I booked 4 non-consecutive stays with this hotel. This one night stay was a last-minute decision when the price already went up. So, I booked a no-window room to save money. I thought it would be OK, since I would arrive late and leave early. But it turned out not to be the case. My room was very close to a side-entrance and a souvenir shop, where people walking in and out, passing my room late at night or early in the morning. Some of them were very loud. The location also made it not very safe. I would not recommend it to anyone. 我临时加订了一天没有窗户的房间，这间位于一个侧门及礼品店的旁边，早晚都有人经过，非常吵也不安全。最好还是早点订拿个好价钱，或多花点钱拿个安静、安全的房间。

Lovely place but horrible service ”

The location is great. There is a bus stop right outside of the alley where this hotel is located. It would take you to either Yuanmingyuan or Yiheyuan with 1 stop, and 2 stops to Qinghua U. or Beijing U. The subway station is also within one stop by bus. The flowery trees in the traditional Chinese garden, the interior Chinese decor, and the glass bridge over the goldfish pond are all lovely. Best of all, the internet is working properly; very unusual for a Chinese hotel. The breakfast includes many courses with a reasonable price of RMB$30 per person. All in all, this hotel could have deserved a 5-star, if its service didn’t make me miserable. When I was having my breakfast, an attendant claimed that I was not the guest in my room, even though my room key holder has my room number on it. She said the guest was supposed to be a foreign male. I told her the front desk has the copy of my travel document on file, but she wouldn’t give up harassing me. Probably in her eyes, a female native Chinese speaker could not possibly come from overseas alone. Were you kidding me? Unfortunately, I booked with this hotel for 4 non-consecutive stays, so my misery didn’t just end with this one case. Keep reading my other reviews… 这酒店什么都好就是服务太差，我用早餐的时候居然有一个服务生一再来骚扰我，说我不是该店的旅客，说我的房间应该是一个外国男人，我的确是来自海外，但不是洋人，我的手上拿着房门钥匙套上有我房间的号码，酒店前台也有我的旅行证件影印本，凭什么一再来骚扰我？不幸我在这酒店订了4天，后面几天还有更糟的遭遇…..

수건은 눅눅...휴지는 누가 썼던거 그대로... 세면대도 막혀...티비도 안나와... 말도 안통해...총체적 난관 참고로 냉장고 없어요 어쩔수없이 묵었던 곳이었는데 정말 최악 -.-

This hotel is not luxurious, but adequate, with a very good location and internet. Gosh, I wish I could recommend it to all my friends but the service is beyond horrible. At the check-out, the front desk gave me a $50 fake bill (as part of the reimbursement of my safety deposit). I felt the texture of the bill was different. When I found out, I asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager would call me the next day. But I never heard from him. They also cracked something in a small bag which they promised to keep for me on the shelf, but instead left on the floor among heavy luggage. 这酒店的地点及网路都非常好，干干净净，大厅及饭厅陈设古雅，金鱼池塘的玻璃桥很可爱，早餐也很丰富，就是服务不敢恭维，竟然给了我一张50元伪钞。服务员不按程序作业，收入的伪钞没有经过点钞机验明就又给了客人。而且答应我放在架上的代存小包竟然被丢在地上，让大件行李给压坏了。事后经理避而不理，我就算是想要给好评也很难了。
