Overall very good experience ”
I chose the hotel because of the location. It’s very close to my family’s place, near a couple of subway stations and many bus lines. And it’s right at the center of Guijie - a major corridor for restaurants. It’s also adjacent to extensive Hutong areas, where locals live. The hotel is simple in terms of amenities and decorations. But it’s actually very well designed in my opinion. The bathroom is very spacious with full size deep tub. The plumbing fixtures are of good brand and quality. The thing I like the most is their mechanical and plumbing engineering. The AC is very quiet and effective. And you don’t sense any weird sewage smell, even in nasty hot and humid summer, which sounds basic but not all that easy to achieve. And I am satisfied by the cleanliness of the hotel and other essential services we received. Overall our experience at Qianyuan hotel was very good. We will for sure stay at the hotel again in the future.

Outstanding Concierge Service”
I found a good deal to go Happy Valley Amusement Park for around 1/3 of the price instead of usual CNY195 for evening entry. Went to the place, but was told the special rate only applicable for online purchases. Tried to find a way to pay online but couldn't because I do not have a local bank credit/debit card. We decided to go back to the hotel and see if anyone can help us with paying for us with their Wechat Pay. Indeed Simmon from the concierge helped us to buy 2 tickets with the QR code we generated. I wanted to give him more as tips as I have no small notes and he had no change, but he declined and said it was too much. He then trusted me to give the balance to any of the staff when I have smaller notes. Simmon helped us save money, and really made our holiday worth it and enjoyable. A simple thing like this makes customers like me happy and I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Will definitely come here to stay again if I'm in Beijing.

Do not overthink, just book it ! ”
I am surprised this is the first review about this hotel. Because this is just THE hotel to stay in Beijing. Room is super clean. Surprisingly cheap for what it is : comfortable, quiet, clean, and a nice bathtub. Friendly staff who speak reasonable english. Good help. Restaurants and huge shopping centers around. Nice area. Important sights to see/must do in Beijing are very close. 10 mins from the metro line 2. Will be back there again !

Comfortable Room & Friendly Staff ”
I stayed here for six days with my daughter as we explored many sites in Beijing. The location was fantastic for the areas we wanted to explore. We had a manageable walk to the subway and once we arrived, we could easily navigate many cultural sites. I think this neighborhood is also great for informal exploring and walking around. It is quite close to one of the cultural temples and traditional style/historic housing. We found a very nice vegetarian Chinese restaurant just diagonal to the hotel that was pretty delicious. The street life in the neighborhood is also very lively in the evenings with outdoor cafes and KTV sites. The breakfast at the hotel provided several options and I would highly recommend it as well. If I were visiting Beijing, I'd certainly stay here again.

A good place to stay”
I got room 404 so it faced the street which was good. It was Bamboo Comfort Room so a step up from the standard room. A good place to rest up if you have spent time out in rural China which I did. This place is excellent as it is near subway to airport and near to Lama Temple area. It is also next to large shopping center Raffles that has a supermarket that sells western goods just in case you need it. Also a pharmacy was near by just in case you get a little Beijing flu which I got. Staff were nice and helpful, room was cleaned everyday. Air conditioner worked and was very quiet, bed hard (its China folks) but pillows soft so had a good sleep. For China this is a 5 star place, you don't need a swimming pool as it has a very large bath to soak the Beijing way each day. I'll stay here again with my family as it is an easy intro to Beijing and still next to the all the street life.

Fantastic yes but still room for improvement”
its quite a distance to walk under the hot summer sun to the nearest subway station DongZhiMeng. A short cab ride will be just the basic flag fare of 13 RMB thereabout. The staff manning the arrival desk on the ground floor are ever so helpful and ensuring security of guests. The check in counter is on the 3rd floor which the staff at the arrival desk will help to operate the lift with a swipe card to get you up there. room is modern and new, bed is pretty comfortable but the pillow is a bit flat if you use one and too high if you use two but overall still fine to sleep with. TV has got 60 channels. Shower facilities and the toiletries excellent! Everything you need you can find it in the bathroom. Only complaint is noise from outside the door and the traffic below, somehow you can still hear them with the door and window closed but still bearable i guess. Another bugbear is the cigarette smell coming into the room from the aircon duct even though i am in a non-smoking room. Some inconsiderate guests must have been smoking in the room and corridor. Overall will stay here again if back in Beijing.

Good Hotel but...”
We stayed in a Bamboo Comfort room with a view towards the city. The room was very comfortable with a bath and separate shower and a king size bed. The overall location of the hotel is good and close to lots of restaurants but it is a distance of 400m - 500m from either metro station so getting bags there is arduous. Having said this the Dongzhimen station is the station needed to transfer to Beijing airport. The facilities were lacking somewhat, no coffee at the bar at 9pm, no assistance (shuttle) to the metro. The front desk staff were very helpful in extending our check out until 6pm after our flight was delayed at a cost of 300RMB. Overall a good stay. The hotel should consider a metro shuttle service, even paid service.

Excellent Staff, Excellent Rooms and Excellent Service!”
We checked in late and were very happy to be given a room upgrade. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful in ensuring no guests cut our queue. But the highlight for my stay is a guy who is an intern named Ye Jian Fei who was sometimes based in Level 1 concierge. He helped us to check bus schedule, ordered a Didi (China budget taxi) for us and made sure that the driver picked us up with all our luggage. He did more than required because if it was not for him and his excellent service, we would have missed our last bus to Cheng De. We also ordered food delivery and he offered to call our room when the delivery man comes with our food. Thank you Jian Fei and I hope you get an offer to remain working in this fantastic hotel after your studies!!

Nice stay in Beijing”
It's a nice hotel, clean and very well located on one of the most vivid and lively streets of Beijing, and also a 5min walk from the Dongzhimen station where the airport express takes you to. The staff speak a little english, but only basics. Unusual questions will cause a lot of confusion on their end. All in all, I have no complaints, our stay was delightful and the hotel is a perfect base for dinning, going out and exploring the city!

Great Hotel to recover from jetlag”
I have stayed here before and I think it is just right to recover from jet lag and to ease into Beijing. It is alos great to use a recover hotel after trekking out into China for a while. Close to two subways including airport service. Near Lama temple. The comfort rooms have big deep baths and great bath salts. Staff are friendly and some speak a little English.

Modern, Clean And Friendly Staff”
The hotel location is very good for those intend to visit the old Beijing areas of the Hutong, Lama Temple, Confucian Temple, Bell And Drum Towers. And just 10 minutes walk to the Dongzhimen subway/express airport train station.(below the Raffles Mall) The neighborhood with many restaurants along the famous " Ghost Street" (Dongzhimen Inner Street.) During our check in on 29/4/16, we are delighted that the front desk staff upgraded the executive room no.0812 for us.The room is modern and spacious, unfortunately the room power supply cut off and the the door bell ring simultaneously and then back to normal for several times which really disturbing our sleep.This short circuit issue maybe caused by the bad workmanship of the renovation work in year 2014 . Luckily, we managed to shift to the only available room no 0519 for the second night. The wifi is only can connect to the handphone not the Ipad ! the staff told us is the hotel system setting issue.I really donot understand what is the actual problem. The hotel should entitle with higher score if they solve the above mentioned issues.

Great Experience”
Our stay was wonderful. Our suite was amazing and the staff was great. Its about a 10min walk to public transportation but it did not bother us. They hotel did a great job of getting us a taxi to where ever we wanted to go and then we took the subway to get back. FYI other patrons in the hotel smoked in there rooms which was very disappointing since the entire hotel is non-smoking. I do not blame the hotel. I have a feeling this is a common thing through all hotel chains in bejing. Very disappointing though to say the least. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was absolutely amazing ”
This was our first time in this hotel and I want to say , that surely we will come back. Location is perfect for me, we can walk by foot anywhere we want and find anything we need. The room was like apartment, very big, very nice and very important it was clean. the hotel was very quiet, there were no extraneous sounds from the street and other rooms.
