a charming place”
Loved this location! We just got them to arrange a pick up service from the airport which worked like a charm. Robert helped us book our forbidden city tickets, and gave us great information about local transportation out to the Great Wall. We ended up just booking a tour for ease. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s easy to communicate with them with WeChat. They gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. It’s lovely to be in the heart of Beijing with the locals and the experience a more authentic stay.

Well located”
It is extremely well located and close to the airport by express train. Nice and safe area, really good food options and close to a very nice shopping centre. Make sure you understand well how to get there and who will give you access to the apartment before you travel. You need to make phone arrangements when you get there, there is no ‘reception or concierge’ in the building for the rental apartments. It is superficially clean but not deep clean. The pictures are not very realistic. Real furniture and facilities are older. Aircon, TV and heating system were good. Wifi was excellent. They were kind and kept our bags for the day and we were given early check in. In general it was good for a short stay. We didn’t use the kitchen but that is an advantage if you want to cook and stay longer you slso have the washing machine.

Great location for travelling by subway to various tourist spots, and fast economically subway travel to Beijing airport beating traffic jams compared to by bus from Beijing railway station or taxi. Food, convenience stalls and malls well available in the vicinity. Washing machine and dryer are a great help if one need to do laundry.

Great location for self-planned Beijing itinerary”
I personally like the location. It's so strategic for tourists. It's between 5-10 mins walk to 2 subway stations, Dongzhimen station and Dongsi shitiao station. So, you can easily plan your route ahead. There is a muslim restaurant and 7-Eleven mart just outside the apartment. The supermarket was also nearby. Excellent location. The manager, Mr Robert is proficient in English. I chartered airport transfer and both drivers are on time and nice. We arrived at the airport on early morning and he already waited at arrival area with name card. Such a good start of our trip. Cleanliness and maintenance of the toilet need a lot of improvement. Asides from the toilet, the studio was great for my family.

Simple place”
We booked the place on line which was fairly easy. However it took a bit time to find it as there was little direction to go by., and the entrance was in the back of the building. We ended up in the office of another similar business who was helpful enough to find the host for us. The place itself had enough space for four of us, and everything we needed to stay. Other than that, the place had little to no decoration, the beds were overly firm, and shower got clogged easily. For the price and the location, I guess it’s okay.

It is located 10 mins walk from subway (or 5 if you walk really fast), near a "pricey" supermarket and delicious halal noodle. NO RECEPTIONIST, do not come before 10 am, the security speak zero english. The flat is spacious, has cooking utensils. will stay again :)

Big room but not too clean”
The space was generous, but the bathroom was awful, not clean at all and the toilet was getting stuck. Most of the time there was no staff there ... thanks God we didn't spend too much time inside, just slept there.

Good but no more second time”
Overall, the apartment is difficult to find. It is same building as 嘉义, near to 史家研究学校and 清真拉面店. The nearest subway will be 东四十条站B出口. The management office is located at 四楼. We booked for a family room(3 persons). The unit was fully completed with basic needs, however the cloth dryer was not functioning. Requested to check or repair, however the person in charge claimed cant repair and there was no good one to replace. Toilet bowl was dirty, space behind the Tv and fridge were same too. Person in charge were okay for other service such as refill the drinking water. The day we checked out, we can keep our luggage at their office till night time and they can arrange taxi/transport to fetch us to airport which costed RMB200, depending on amount of people and luggage.

It was so horrible ,especially the toilet, that i only shower twice in 4 days! there's slime n algae at the corners n on the floor!!! i dare not look down when i was showering...it was that DISGUSTING! Only saving grace was the good restaurant downstairs.

Acceptable”
The room is very dirty, facilities are old the bed and pillow are damp. Told the staff and he just gave us new set of bed sheet and ask us to change ourselves. No daily Housekeeping. The only good thing is the location as is just few minutes walk to the subway station. Not worth for the amount had been paid and will not come back to this apartment again.

Home Away from Home”
Our stay at the Beijing Yuanjia Apartment was great. Excellent location in between 2 subway stations, Dongshimen & Dongshishitiao, and also to the bus station and Airport Express, all within 5 mins walk. Restaurants, banks, spa, grocery store and 2 shopping malls and etc, all in the same street. There's a 24 hour Chinese restaurant downstairs. Our room on the 6th floor, the Family Studio, has 2 king beds and 1 sofa bed, which can fit in 5 people. Kitchenette with complete kitchenware, microwave oven, electric kettle, cooking range, range hood, refrigerator, LCD TV, Wall Mounted Aircon, Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer, Electric Iron with Ironing Board, Wardrobe, slippers, hair dryer, floor mop, bucket, brush, pan, foldable clothes hanger and the Hot & Cold Water Dispenser, which came in very handy during our stay.(cooking breakfast and coffee). Hot and Cold Shower. The room door is security coded so no need for keys, which was very convenient for us, as anybody in our group can easily go in & out anytime, just remember the code. The WIFI in the room was good and oh, there's a balcony/terrace in our room where you can relax, sipping your coffee, feeling the cool air outside. The owner, Robert, was very nice and speaks good English. Aside from upgrading our room from King Studio to Family Studio, he allowed us to stay in our room until 10pm (late check-out) while waiting for our flight at 1am. (without charges). There is also airport transfer service available, which we availed at a minimal fee. I highly recommend this "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" apartment for groups and families seeking a safe, quiet & relaxing vacation in Beijing.

still the nice place to stay in Beijing”
been through Beijing about 5 or 6 times, even if only staying a short time, 3 days this trip, can't beat an apartment. Want to stay in, cook a meal, easy, shopping center downstairs was massive with everything you need. Even if it's cheap to eat out, sometimes you want to stay in and chill. Great services, wifi, facilities, helpful manager, I'd stay here again. This place would be good for families or people wanting to do tourist things as well, sanlitun and local bars are only a cab ride away.

We stayed there for two nights. The manager arranged an airport pick up for us, which worked really well. The apartment met the needs of a family, with two chilren (5 and 9 yrs) sleeping on the fold out sofa. The location of the apartment and local facilities is fantastic. We felt very safe in Beijing, including in the apartment. There was a lot to see and do within a short walking distance, and as other reviewer have mentioned the access to the metro and airport express quite easy. The water dispenser in the apartment was also handy.

Location of the apartment is very convenient , quiet & safe. the place is an easy walk from Dongzhimen station Line 2 & 13 and also a station for Airport Express. if you use the Airport express to Dongzhimen station, once arrive, go towards Line 2 subway station then take Exit C that goes to Ginza Mall. go thru Ginza Mall and exit near the i-Space store , at the main road turn right and walk straight. the apartment block is on the left side of the road. Apartment is well kept, clean & spacious. Robert was very responsive whenever we request for anything. will stay in Yuanjia apartment again in our next trip.
