Wonderful, quaint, beautiful Inn, great staff”
We thorougly enjoyed our stay at Blossom Hill Inn. Great location on the outskirts of old Lijiang, away from the crowds. Beautiful immaculate rooms, common areas, courtyard, and gardens. The Inn staff is special and wonderful--very friendly, courteous, kind, attentive, and helpful. Several of the staff speak sufficient English to assist and answer questions regarding events, tours, accommodations, sites to visit, etc. Breakfasts and the on-site Italian Restaurant were excellent. The staff (including Tina, Chang, Vivian, Jenny, and Nana) and the decor are superb--the highlights of this Inn. We will stay there when we return to Lijiang.

Nice location away from the obnoxious downtown”
This somewhat hard to find hotel, was a little oasis in the nightmare of downtown Lijiang. What was once a beautiful city is an overrun tourist trap, with stores peddling the same crap one after the other, and large groups of tourists descending on the town by late morning. BUT, there are pockets of serenity, one being the edge of town where the Blossom Hill inn is located. The room was large, had a balcony, and the common areas were really lovely. The staff did their best to help us in their broken English, one gentleman in particular was a standout (although I don't know his name). The town is best enjoyed in early morning before all the people make a mess of it. Cons- the staff wasn't very communicative before we arrived, but once we did, they were helpful and gave us a complimentary ride to the train station, since we couldn't get in touch with them for our complimentary pick-up upon arrival.

best value hotel in china”
only a few niggles but this applies to everywhere in lijiang. you have to carry your luggage some distance as no taxis can go in. everywhere is difficult to find even though agoda give the address in chinese. i had made two separate bookings, but managed to get two separate blossom hills, neverland and joyland. they are both owened by the same group, 50 metres from each other and both are excellent. i have travelled extensively in china and the rooms were the best value i have had. the bedrooms were themed, so all werer different. the furniture was to a high standard and the bathrooms had german sinks, baths etc. the beds are probably the best i have ever slept in. these are boutique hotels with the bedrooms around a courtyard. the staff spoke english and were very helpfull.

Best Inn in Lijiang”
this is my second time in Lijiang, I stayed in three hotels during 7 days, and I went into the hotels that looks good during walking around the town. There is no doubt that Blossom is the best, not only the rooms, but also supporting services such as picking up, travel agency and so on. I think Blossom embodies the spirit of Lijiang, relaxing, quite and friendly.

Big rooms in quiet part of town”
The Blossom Hill Inn is in a quiet part of old town Lijiang, which is one of its best features. Our room was right next to the lobby which meant we heard every single person walking in and out of the place. It got very noisy. The courtyard birds also did not approve of sleep ins. Our room was big and lovely, although using the ventilator in the bathroom made it really smell for some reason. Comfy beds but we only had the free breakfast once as it was not very nice and there was no juice.

Excellent Stay”
the staff were very very nice and helpful. the hotel is everything on the pictures except that it is nicer in real life. they do some mini tour organised by themselves as well as joint with local travel agents. on sat night, they arranged for various branches of its hotel to have a joint bbq so that all the guests could meet and have fun together. lovely relaxing place to stay. not too far from the old town center. i will definetly stay there again when i go back to lijiang!

A super hotel”
This is a charming hotel in Lijiang old town. We found the room to be a good size with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff really went out of their way to help us make the most of our stay. The old town is pedestrianised so note down the hotels telephone number so that your taxi driver can call the hotel when they drop you off at one of the old town entry gates.

nicely arranged hotel in one of the quiet part of lijiang. big rooms but noisy due to the emplacement and to the restaurant generator. very average breakfast don't include it and go somewhere else

Very nice, excellent service”
Definitely a nice option. Not too far from the action but in a quiet little corner. Attached restaurant is nice, breakfast pretty good. The rooms are spacious and nicely finished. The little courtyard (we had a garden view room) is a nice place to relax. Overall a very peaceful and pleasant hotel. Well worth the money.

Beautiful Hotel and big room”
Even the hotel is relatively far from the Center Square, but it is a nice and peaceful place to stay. The hotel rooms are big and clean. There are difference theme for total of 18 rooms. you can request to switch room during you stay. The hotel staffs are friendly and caring. You are welcomed to play with the cats and chat with the hotel staff in the lobby. They provide free pick up from the airport only, free breakfast and afternoon tea. Dinning around the hotel is not a problem, just the the food in the old town is not so tasty. Booking via Agoda can get up to 50% discount!

Great atmosphere”
you may check the heater/radiator when you check in to the room. The one I stayed had a problem w/. heater. but Staff there are nice and offered a portable one. Also, italian restaurant at ground floor seems quite popular, better get there early in the morning...though it's open at 9:30 in the morning...
