Find hotels near Jianguomen & Railway Station in Beijing, China

Pros: Very very very nice staff, private check-in and front desk for the suite floor, so it was very quick and accommodating. Nice little private room on the suite floor where you can sit and enjoy some coffee while looking at the view or reading a book in the comfy seats. Also, the hotel is connected to a shopping mall and some restaurants, so it's very convenient. There are also some grocery stores where you can pick up some cheap local foods and toiletries, etc. Also, the railway station and the subway is a stone's throw away, so it's very convenient for the adventurer. Cons: No hair dryer, very few toiletries provided. You need to call in every time you need soap, bath gel, etc. There are condoms and a toiletry kit available in the bathroom, but they are not free. The water pressure was also not very good and the water temperature from the shower head fluctuates from cold to hot while you're taking a shower.

The hotel is new hence many taxi drivers did not know the place. It is near the Beijing Railway station, about 300 to 350 metres, and halfway point between two subway stations, the Beijing Station subway and Jianguomen Station (about 200 meres). The rooms are tastefully decorated and big, the concierge were all very helpful, eventhough when some don't understand English, they do try to help.
