"we celebrated my husband's birthday here. while the club floor was nice and the service was great, the mini fridge did not have the best cooling power and our cake literally melted inside it. other than that, it was great. clean pool, and convenient access to a shopping mall connected directly to the hotel. the italian restaurant, 'cepe', on the 1st floor is expensive so take that into consideration when you try it! when you stay on the club lounge you get a chance to try the foods provided by all the restaurants in the hotel. we missed the free cepe food by a day but the food provided by their chinese restaurant was pretty nice."

"Staffs are friendly, professionally, fast check-in and out, Room is very comfortable and very clean, hotel Have swimming pool and most of requirements. Agoda Customer service was professional and trusted as usual, they change my stay to this hotel after bad experience in another hotel. I advice everyone to book thru Agoda, not direct with hotel. "This is a Business Class Hotel, hotel staffs are polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean. Hotel is located in a busy area but yet within the hotel is very peaceful and undisturbed by the noisy street. Our family have a wonderful stay and would easily give it a 10/10 but unfortunately our last day dinner in a western restaurant at the hotel lobby was an unpleasant experience, it entirely ruined our good experience of our stay. We didn't expect service from a restaurant in a 5 stars hotel is so unprofessional which is from a senior level staff. Even thought restaurant manager and the senior staff did apologize but still is not a good experience overall."

"Very convenient as only one underground transit station to Financial Street. However, except a opera theatre next door, there is no shopping mall around the area and only a few local restaurants nearby. Therefore, you have to dine at the Hotel restaurant which is expensive. Transportation network is good as it takes only 35 minutes to the Airport"

"Room is small but clean. This location is good (not too crowded and not too far from tourist places). You have a shopping mall, food and train station within walking distant. Staff communication in English is limited but acceptable. This hotel is next to a highway so it is a little noisy. However, I can still sleep at night. If you are a light sleeper and money is not an issue then I suggest you go for the 5 star hotel next to this. The price of the 5 star next door is double of this but the size of the room is also double and very quiet even if you get a room facing the highway. "

"Westin Beijing (Financial Street) has been on the top of my list for best hotels since I first stayed there in 2007. Fortunately, I stayed with them again in this Feb, and I was extremely satisfied with their sophiticated service, and well-designed room. In addition, my additional requests were responded efficiently, e.g. courier service, stay extension without changing room. Westin Beijing (Financial street) is highly recommended for any kinds of travellers!"

"Surroundings as you enter hotel does not give you a good impression at the start. Although I felt the taxi driver was playing me for more meter time, I triedto call hotel with the phone number listed and it would not go through. Since I was using a local cellphone, it took me a number of tries to get the correct phone number combination as the meter is running. If you take a tour, they probably will pick you up from this hotel.It's the return you must make sure of since this hotel is in the middle of the financial district, most tours end during rush hour traffic time so they will try to convince you to take subway back to hotel. Other than that, room was clean. Room is small so very difficult to move around if you have large luggage."
