Old and dirty rooms”

Lots of ants on the bathroom and table. Hair strands on the bed. I have asked the front desk about these issues but nothing has been resolved. Fitness center also closed at 6pm. Old and dirty rooms. The photos are NOT updated! It was taken 4 years ago!

Im doing roadtrip with my wife and 2 sons. Book executive one. Very big room, big sofa so my eldest can slept there.

Superb”

Overall, it is worth the price. Location: awesome! The hotel is located at the heart of Semarang. Walking distance to Alun-Alun and near the 'food street'. Also, there's a supermarket just beside the hotel. Room: awesome! It is clean from the bed to the bathroom, and it is quite spacious. Parking lot: great! It accommodates enough cars. We never got nervous about parking when exploring until late. However, the back lot is near the trash and sewage line so it gets quite smelly. Staffs: awesome! They got an awesome team. Quick and patient. Facilities: could be better. The gym is good but has a little bit of odor. The pool... is it a milk bath? we're shocked to find that we're unable to see the bottom of the adult pool as the water is quite milky. Saw people swimming and playing with water, but we rather skipped. Hence the kid's pool looks fine with clean, crystal clear water. Breakfast: good! Not much variety but they serve decent local food & western variants.

REFUSED CHECK IN”

I booked reservation for April 28, 2019. But when i checked in 12.30 am. mr Fery, Reception desk Refused to check me in, because its only 12.30 am, and check in time are usually 12 noon. Furthermore, he did nothing to accomodate a paying guest, ( usually other hotel would just give me a room with extra half day charge ). Instead he gave me a namecard of the Customer relation, to cancel my reservation. I then had to look for another hotel in the city for two hours. Finally checked in at 3 am. In the morning I called Agoda, ms Izza, and asked her to assist with either cancellation / amendment to another Santika hotel in nearby town ( Yogyakarta). After many phonecalls, and emails, Santika PR excused that Agoda declined my request to move me to another Santika in Yogyakarta, when in fact, I received an email from ms Izza, informing it was the hotel that refused to accomodate me either way. DEFINITELY WILL NOT STAY IN ANOTHER SANTIKA PREMIERE ESTABLISHMENT, EVER AGAIN.

Good Value for Money”

The room is spacious and the cleanliness is good. I also adore the location, which is quite in the middle of the city - easy to find good food and entertainment. It can benefit from renovation, but still ... the current situation is good value for the money we pay.

The hotel was old, but the room was quite spacious, which equipped with comfort and clean bed. The location is strategic, near to Simpang Lima. You can easily find food near the hotel, for your culinary trip.

Wedding anniversary celebrations ”

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Santika Premier Semarang. The moment I gotten confirmation from Agoda, I emailed the hotel requesting for come decor and candle light dinner preparations. My emailed was immediately replied by Mr Denny S Nelwan, Front Office Manager. And my candlelight dinner was referred to Mr Hunan Setiawan FB Manager. Both managers went to extra mile in preparing and fulling my requests. My room was decorated with a pot of flowers and a plate of cake with anniversary wishes. And the candlelight dinner was out of the world. From the decor of the dinner table to the food served, it was fantastic. The location of the hotel is near simpang lima and walking distance to many attractions. The buffet beakfast was fantastic. The room was big with comfortable mattress and pillows. I will definitely be back to Santika on my next visit to Semarang.

Good but need to improve”

Good location as it is next to Gramedia (we love book) and the main mosque. Price was cheap for the type of room. Ala carte food price and portion was reasonable and cheaper than eating at the restaurant's breakfast. Unfortunately, big flies in the restaurant at all times. Also, only kids < 5 years get complimentary breakfast, charged at a hefty Rp 70k (compare this to ala-carte room service Nasi Goreng at Rp45k). We were however told by the lobby reception as well as cafe reception on day 1 that kids < 7 are complimentary, hence were surprised to be told by staff on duty at the cafe on the subsequent day that this is not true. We are not sure which one is correct and there is no written display of this rule at the hotel. Inconsistencies in policies would make a stay memorable for the wrong reason.

convenient and comfortable”

Very pleasant three nights stay here with good breakfast every morning, a nice swimming pool area with sauna available, and walking distance to shopping and eating areas. With the sofa in the room, our 6-year-old was able to sleep comfortably on her own. The breakfast served not only a variety of Indonesian dishes, but also a choice of bread, a rich array of juices and tropical fruits, and even jamu (Indonesian traditional herbal drinks). A visit to the pool every afternoon after a busy day visiting relatives or just shopping, and we could relax each evening and get a sound sleep. Even though our room faced the mosque nearby, the morning call to prayer was not an issue.

Antique building with excellent service”

Santika's entrance is big and at first glance it seems like a grand hotel. Upon entering, the staff were quick to attend to our luggage and were ever smiling. Checking in was a breeze and I was happy there was a bathtub although it was a little small. The amenities are abundant and the hotel doesn't hesitate if I wanted extras as souvenirs. The interior of the room was fairly spacious and we felt extremely comfortable. The wifi works great too and this was important for me as I rely on the Internet a lot. The hotel is located at a convenient place and next door was Dunkin Donuts and a bookstore. The hair dryer was not particularly our favorite as it used a vacuum but all in all we were satisfied with the hotel and regularly book it whenever we visit Semarang. One more thing - the breakfast spread was excellent

Surprisingly comfortable and convenient hotel ”

As mentioned in the title of this feedback, this hotel was really a surprise as it did not look eye catching and I was told its an old hotel. However upon entering, it had a grand aura and there was a gallery of indo art. Staff were quick to attend to us and were friendly and helpful when we asked about the wifi and nearby places of interest. The room was very comfortable and the TV was big, unlike most of the other hotels that we have been to in Semarang. There was a bathtub which was great as its not easy to find a hotel with one and a very clean one too! The hotel is just next to Dunkin donuts and a bookstore and breakfast in the hotel was a generous buffet spread.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

Although not new, the condition of the rooms and bathrooms at the hotel was quite clean and pleasant. If I stay at this hotel, I usually get a breakfast fit with what I want, as well as the layout of the dining room which was nice. This hotel's location in Simpang Lima, so it can not be separated from all privileges of Simpang Lima in Semarang. Easy to get a variety of purposes, and if you want the atmosphere outside the hotel that can comfortably walks in the Simpang Lima were just a few feet away.

Super Hotel”

santika hotel is nice hotel which located very strategic close to simpang lima, where we can easily walk to simpang lima, to find foods and souvenirs. they have some good choices for breakfast. the hotel itself look old but they have a nice big room. the staffs are nice and friendly. but unfortunately we got a room which near to people who are renovating something outside the room, so we got kinda bothered by the noise in early morning.

Pleasant hotel, excellent location”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and found that the price was very fair for the high standard of accommodation and breakfast offered as part of the deal. The hotel is centrally located and thus convenient for both business and relaxation in Semarang. The higher level rooms at the front of the hotel offer an interesting view of the city.

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable but quite small, the bath room was good incl. the bath tube. The hotel service was standard but it had great foods, esp. Lumpia Semarang and Nasi Goreng Seafood. Recommended for business trip, for couple who travelling; but not for family trip.

Nice stay”

The hotel building is old but it is still in good condition. The room and shower room are clean. Our room was facing simpang lima, which offer nice view of the city. It is very close to simpang lima, within 5 minute walk. I enjoyed the breakfast because it offers many varieties of Indonesian delicacy.

Best place of intown central city park fireworks view hotel... Recommended one... Nice place to stay... Nice staffs to serve... Nice foods to eat... All of those nice things just in one point right on the heart of the city... Keep it up...
