A la llegada nos encontramos la oficina de check-in cerrada, eran las 12 de la mañana, porque la idea era poder dejar las maletas hasta la hora de entrada en la habitacion, estuvimos esperando en la puerta mas de media hora con muchisimo frio, y al final el señor de una tea house que habia al lado nos ayudo. El desayuno horrible, dos trozos de pan y un huevo cocido, el cafe y el te de recepcion caducados. No volveremos alojarnos alli.

Para dormir y nada más. Ducha no separada, se moja todo el baño. En la habitación que estábamos no se podía abrir la ventana olia a cloaca. La cama cómoda.

Excepcional”

The location was good, and staff were nice and helpful. The room was small and simple; the floor in front of the toilet shall be fixed; other than that it was quite good. The night tour was amazing.

Inside Jioufen old street”

The actual location inside old street itself . (end of the street) if u had huge luggage would be very inconvenient. Room we stay is very noisy fr others room. Ppl shouting A staff knock our room at 10.55 to says she wanna do House keeping. I told her it’s ok we are packing to Chk out. However 3min later before 11am without knock the Male staff open the room door While I’m half way changing. Less then again he open the room door again to inform that they need to do the house keeping despite I told him we are packing to Chk out now. I don’t feel any privacy stay here.

the staff was super kind and friendly, they had sent an e-mail suggession for how to go to hostel and stay at jiufen (they already advice it more convenient to not bring luggages) location was located at the end of market which is ok for me.

Jiufen Mountain is so beautiful, but we feel not well is stay in Echoed B&B for this trip. Our reservation room is different to real room, that night we lived in a no window’s room, but photos on web has windows. Sometimes happened POWER OFF, they said the customers were using hair dryer the same time!!! They should have good and safety electric.

Suficient”

This hotel is located almost the end of the old street. Better to arrive there before or after the opening hours of the market (10am - 7pm) if you don't want to get through the crowd. We didn't realize before booking that our room is in another building where we had to walk up the mountain a bit. Not recommended for those who have bulky stuff. Please check with the hotel before booking if you prefer to stay at the main building. The humidity in the room is very high - Turn on the dehumidifier otherwise everything will be wet and or damp! The air conditioning did not work well when we were there. However, the hotel was pretty flexible when I asked them to serve us the early breakfast. They prepared 2 sets of grab and go breakfast for us which was very impressive.

Great location, clean, friendly/helpful staff”

After spending two nights in capsule hostels, I was happy to have a room to myself! Though the photos of the room are little outdated and room has more wear & tear, everything was great. Front desk staff helped carry bags to my room, I was delivered a light breakfast to my door in the morning, and it is only a short walk to Juifen Old Street. Would stay here again!

thanks for upgrade us to a room with jungle view. room is small, but enough for 2 person. breakfast will ready outside yr room every morning, although is simple, but ok for us. happy to stay here, will come back again.

Spacious, clean and reasonable price”

The first thing you realise as you enter the room is how huge it is. We stayed at the double bed room on the 3rd floor, which also has a large balcony overlooking the small sliproad and the horizon - perfect to catch the evening sun at. The bathroom, sheets and general areas were clean, and the price reasonable if you were staying as a group of 4 or a family of 4. The B&B can be rather difficult to find for first timers, as taking a wrong turn along the crowded Jishan Street would end up having you take a more laborious route up several flight of stairs instead of breezing through the street to the doorstep of Mountains Echoed B&B. It was a good place overall for a one-night layover at Jiufen which is worth visiting as the crowds dwindle down past 7pm, or if you fancy the early hours wandering around the quiet town.

Comfy short stay”

Jiufen is a humid place with lots of rain. And it did rain when we were there. The staff was very kind to lend their umbrella and the room is equipped with a dehumidifier, very thoughtful. Since at night there r not many entertainment in jiufen, we are glad that there are many TV channels for us to watch. The room is small and just nice for us. If you have big luggage, might not feel comfortable. The instructions to the hotel is also very clear, we are able to find our way there despite it was raining. The soundproof was not good, you can clearly hear the sounds in the room from outside. However, overall we enjoyed the 1 night in Jiufen.

The bed got dirty fleas. After one night, I and my friend's legs got lots of itchy red spots.

Beautiful view & Great Deal!”

We stayed in both of their properties (The Old Inn and this one).. this one was definitely a better deal. The bed was a king and comfortable, had an amazing deck, and came with a fridge, coffee & tea. A short walk to the main property was breakfast.. which was okay. It’s a fixed menu and the coffee was cold so we only had one morning of breakfast with them. I recommend this place but it’s up A LOT of stairs and quite a little trek to the old street (maybe 8 min walk) so if you have big bags or bad knees I’d choose the Ore Inn instead.

Very strategic place for Jiufen visitors. Situated at the very end of Jiufen Old Street. The staffs were friendly and helpful and will recommend places of interest in Jiufen as well as time for visit.

Excel·lent”

Breakfast is nice and prepare sincerely. Staff are kind and helpful. But the locations quite inconvenient for those who bring big luggage and pass through a lot of stairs. But can spend more times at the old street without stairs. Definitely will recommend friends to stay here but don’t bring big luggage here.

Super friendly staffs and clean room”

Take some time to find our way to this particular place. Overall, i think its worth the stay as the staffs there are very friendly and helpful, and also the room we gotten was also very clean and cosy! Will definitely stay here agn if i visit jiufen!

Strategic location but room is too small”

Strategic location just few steps from Jiu Fen Old Street but room is too small and somehow it's very very cold (winter season). There is draft coming in but we are unable to locate where the draft is from. THe staff is very very kind as she saw we were shaking uion check in, she gave us two handwarmers for free.
