Pros: great location, friendly staff, very reasonable price (for 3p/room), reasonable breakfast. Cons: bathroom a bit of old. Highly recommend travelers who looking for value and don’t care a bit of old facility, as long as clean.

Excellent value for money, great location”
I booked this triple room only minutes before I checked in, Agoda app is so convenient! I paid SGD 47 per night for Wednesday and Thursday. Accommodation rates in Taiwan is usually much cheaper on weekdays than weekends. This Inn is a very short taxi ride from Tainan station, where we alighted from the train from Kaohsiung. It is so convenient! And we took the train using Easycard without any prepurchase of tickets. The ride cost NT61 per person! The starting price of taxi is even more than the 1hour train ride - NT85. This Inn's breakfast is the most sumptuous of all the 6 accommodations we had during our trip, even though the per night cost is the lowest. (The other rooms were much bigger though.) The air-conditioner was cranky on our second night (I did see another reviewer commenting on the air-conditioner too). It remained warm for an extended period of time and suddenly turned cooler.

Good location, good price, good standard”
The Hotel is located on a crossroad in front of the Confucius Temple in Tainan, 5 minutes by taxi from Railway station (fare 90 $). I suggest don't walk with luggages, it's a little bit too far. Comfortable and clean, good rooms, good breakfast, good starting point to city sightseeing.

Very good service and reasonable price ”
The stay was great. Although it is a distance away from Tainan train station, it has quite a few bus stops around the hotel that brings us to other places of visit. Hotel staff was very helpful and caring as I was admitted to hospital on my first night, and the he provided extra bottled water without charge for my convenience. The food tasted great even for a person who was feeling unwell. Overall, it's a place that is very value for money! I highly recommend this place

Excellent mid-range hotel at an excellent location”
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and compared to other hotels, I'd rate it above average. The rooms are small, which is typical of these hotels in Taiwan. The bed covers were a little old, but they seemed clean. The bathrooms are fine. The breakfast is excellent if you like the traditional Taiwanese fares (and a section for couple of vegetarian dishes). They do have toasts and salads, along with various juices. The location is a little far from Tainan Train Station, especially if you have excessive luggage. It cost us about $150 NTD for a taxi from the Rail Station. If you use the High-speed Rail (HSR), there is a free shuttle stop on the the same block of the hotel. There are numerous excellent local food/snack shops close by, easily within walking distance (Li-li Fruit Shop, for example). They is an elevator/lift available, but you do have to go up a few steps to access it. I'd definitely stay there again.

the room was a bit small, barely could move around, once you open your luggage, there would be no space to move at all, i don't like the pillow, it was too hard for me. the hotel location was good though, we could just walk to confucius temple and lily fruit store with the famous mango shaved ice. overall it was a good stay, clean room and good breakfast too

Definitely value for money”
For the price paid, this accommodation definitely has great value for money. The location is right next to Confucious Temple and its on the route of 88 bus (Tainan tourist bus) as well as on the route of free shuttle to High Speed Rail Tainan station. It also include breakfast but i would just skip it as Tainan great foods and snacks are usually opened for morning business only. So might as well seek for those delicious local delicacies in the morning.

The best value for money”
The location was fantastic, as the hotel is within walking distance to almost all of the major attractions in the city (most are just 5-20 minutes walk). Besides the helpful staff, the rooms were clean and spacious. For this price, I really couldn't wish for more

Great place for a last minute booking. Easy to find and near the center of Tainan city. Good value and nice food. The only problem was that there were so many ants in our room. Since our beds were on a raised floor board, there were ants on our bed.

Great cheap hotel”
Fantastic hotel for the price. Paid around $30 CAD /night. We booked a Japanese style room and they upgraded us which was awesome! Very comfortable, clean and great location. Bus stop across the street can take you to Anping or the Train station. Free breakfast was a Chinese/Western buffet, food was great. Staff are very polite and helpful. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Very good hotel ”
Japanese style room is small but it's quite clean and cozy, futton bed is comfortable. Good variety on buffet breakfast with Western and Asian option, staff is friendly, location is very close to Confucious temple. Also near the other tourist spots. Overall good value for money.

Good hotel. Even have self laundrying facilities. Great staff very friendly and smiley. Recommended some great place for us to try the milkfish which was tasty and did not break our bank. Free parking. Dryer tend to be underpowered. Near the hotel there is an uncle tarako cake shop sells great japanese cheese cake. The hotel itself sells good tasting baos.

Very firm building”
We survived the 6.7 earthquake this week when we were lying in our bed. So +1 for the building. Simple but nice room, staff was friendly but spoke little english. A lot of choice for the breakfast.
