"we are happy with our stay at hotel seri malaysia kangar. the service is so good. they always help the customers with smile.the hotel facilities are in good order. the facilities included wifi, swimming pool,cafe, karaoke and etc. we had also given breakfast on 18/3/2012 which is buffet. the food quite nice and there have various food for us to choose including malay and chinese food. i would say that the hotel is 5 star hotel,the service is also 5 star but the price is just 2 star. so, it is worth to stay at hotel seri malaysia kangar. i certainly will stay at hotel seri malaysia kangar again if i travel to kangar. "

"Went to Perlis for Perlis Marathon 2019. Found this hotel at Agoda site. This hotel quite affordable for us. Near to Kangar Stadium, very clean and good staff. But breakfast so-so la but still nice breakfast (want eat a lot, then stay hotel 5 stars lor). Please maintain ur commitment. Thanks."

"Overall was good. However I noticed the receptionist was oblivious of in-coming calls. Phone kept on ringing. I am used to SOP of answering calls before the third call. We took up 3 rooms for the family. The second room was wet due to aircond problem that was repaired upon complaint. All toilets are very rundown and need upgrading. My 5-yesr old grand son insisted that he be carried when he entered the toilet. Toilets were clean. The hotel is very old and does require upgrading.Removing carpets from the rooms and replacing the floor with parquet was a smart move. What was obviously absent was a safe deposit box. But I would still recommend people to stay at Putra due the location and it is still the best hotel in Kangar. "

"im feels so excited when im reach at this hotel. night life if better than kangar. easy when im reach at the hotel, my booking is nit there. my luck is good because i came earlier, so there are still rooms availables. My booking is seaview, but i get the land view. that is the only thing that i faced. "

"Pros 1. Agoda gave me the sweetest deal for a night. 2. At below RM100 a night for a twin room, nobody should complain much. 3. Car park is free within the hotel. That’s another RM10 saving. 4. And you get a mini fridge with coffee making facilities (2 sachets of Nescafe), 2 500ml mineral water). 5. Air conditioning works well. 6. Local TV channels. 7. Clean beds, linens, towels and bathroom. 8. Mini bar of organic soap, fragrant shower gel and shampoo. There’s even a small jar of scrub but I didn’t use it. 9. Best pro is the ferry terminal to Langkawi is just diagonally opposite the hotel. Cons 1. Creaking wardrobe doors (annoying) 2. The shower rose has too tiny holes that it hurts when bathing. Should use the normal rose. 3. Air cond compressor is noisy and irritating. 4. I suspect they are still gradually renovating the room. 5. Naphthalene or moth balls should not be inside the room - doesn’t smell good. Again, for less than RM100, who could complain. Thanks "
