Nice location since it was near with all attraction in melaka. The room is spacious and clean can fit more than 6 people. The toilet is in room was very clean and they provide us with bathing gel. Just the parking you need to pay for RM12 / day. Overall I'm very satisfied with their service.

Affordable and Strategic Location for Melaka's hostel”
I was the only one in the dorm so it was quiet. The location is just walking distance from Jonker Street so it is convenient. The alley which is opposite the carpark is very dark so we cautious if needed. The staff are super friendly with a cute dog!

On plus side: - Almost in the center, but still quiet. - Close to restaurants and shops. - You can rent a bike. - The room is really big and with access to the balcony. - The service is very nice and helpful. On the downside: The private toilet is not so private - the toilet door cannot be closed from outside because it has neither a lock (there is only from inside) nor a door handle. In addition, the wall inside does not reach the ceiling (about 50cm break) - and on the other side there is a toilet accessible to everyone. As a result, you can not only hear the sounds of the shared toilet in the room, but also when people do not turn off the lights in it, you have light in the room. Large kitchen, but rather for one person - it's hard to do something there when someone is cooking. The stove is not fully functional; one burner does not work at all and the other is cracked and it is difficult to regulate the temperature. It's also quite hot there

Long term guest in Casa Blanca GH”
Stay in AC & fan big, spacious dorm, clean, safety not assured as dorm is mixed. Encountered 2 theft cases. One time HP was stolen as it was charging on the bed while sleeping but later was recovered somehow(mysteriously). Security wise can be upgraded. Anyone can walk in the dorm. I got used to it. I felt alright sleeping in the dorm and it s usually not full. I have stayed in the rooms as well, old furniture but OK. to sleep if you re on a budget. I chose the dorm to cut costs and I stayed for nearly 1.5 years off and on. I moved to other dorms when it was full. Location is the best-walking distance to Jonker Street, parking after office hours free but not easy on Fri, Sat and Sun. Walking distance to eateries, riverside, museums, historical places and shops. Can cook light meals in the common kitchen and there s hot water. I never cooked but a few others did. Kitchen needs to be upgraded. Toilets OK. They do provide toilet rolls and shower gel. General worker(Bangladeshi) was there 24/7, polite and helpful but not much English. Can speak Malay. The owner and owner's son are not too friendly. They don't take complaints well and they are not accommodating to guests requests. It s like, "if you like you stay, if you don't like you can leave" attitude. Honestly they are not too "guest friendly". Best part: They have a sitting area in front and back of property. One can sit and just read, write, use a laptop, watch the people & cars go by or simply just chill.

Dirty carpets, towels and no wifi”
Checkin was easy, my double room is large. But wifi stopped working within the hour and they said they called for service. Carpets in the room are old and filthy. Towels were stained.

Basic necessity is complete but space is limited..good for sleep in only..huge parking space but need to pay rm12/night..make sure you mentioned staying all night when you first come in to parking or else they will charge you double..

Good location. Few minutes away from Jonker St. Exactly opposite Casa Del Rio Hotel. Guest hse need a bit of work as it look unkept. Beds & pillows are worn out. Walls, floor & ceilings have cracks. Need to buy water from outside. Can boil water r heat up food in the kitchen. There is a public parking in front of the hse.
