"Overall experience was great! I would definitely come back if I am in the area. This hotel is located near the night market in the city center. It is not along the riverfront, even though you could walk there. It was quite enjoyable and delightful to stay at this hotel. The multilingual French proprietor/manager ensured that my reservations were taken cared of. The hotel, corridors, and rooms are magnificently appointed/decorated and clean. The environment was relaxing, clean, and quiet. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was typical toilet, shower, and sink combination but a shower curtain to separate the toilet and shower stall from the sink area, minimizing water presence everywhere. Food service at the roof top restaurant was very nice. View from the top building is good for observing Pakse at night. Hot breakfast buffet was great! So many options to choose from. "

"My room was bright and had amazing views of the surrounding hills. Breakfast is a mixture of European and Lao cuisine. The latter is absolutely delicious, especially rice porridge and other meat and vegetable dishes. All the staff are extremely friendly and respectful. Authentic Lao hospitality. The manager is an amazing guy. He took me on his scooter to a coffee shop where I bought home roasted Lao coffee. The location is in the city centre. Pakse is a small city with amazing locals, tasty food and wonderful views of the River Mekong and the hills nearby. There is also a wonderful temple. The whole city is well worth a visit."

"Check-in was a bit weird. We had booked the six-bed dorm with a/c but when we arrived they said they'd give us an upgrade to the four-bed-dorm, because it was so hot and the other one didn't have a/c after all. At first they wouldn't let us extend our stay for the same price, claiming the four-bed-dorm was more expensive. The door to the dorm wouldn't lock properly and when we mentioned this they were acting very surprised, saying they would have a look at it. After returning from the loop nothing had changed, though. The bathrooms were one level down and felt a bit clammy, but were clean. All in all it was an okay stay, but the hostel could be so much better if some details were improved."

Fridge, AC was working well, Internet ok on the first day, second day didn't work in the room but worked in the lobby. Around 15-20 minutes walk to city centre which was no problem for us."

"Prepare to be spoilt rotten. Probably the best hostel I've stayed in, and its all down to the manager and her team. From a complimentary glass of cool green tea on arrival, to having my clean laundry placed on my bed when it was ready, all the little touches that the manager and her team bring to this hostel. The manager and her team do an incredible job to make you feel welcome, and care for you while you are there. I could have lived there permanently! The hostel is spotless, the beds are big and have room to put your bag at the bottom. There's also a shelf by your bed and good quality curtains around it. The food is also delicious, make sure to have the yellow curry for dinner. And enjoy freshly squeezed passion fruit juice with breakfast. Enjoy free bananas from their farm and there's great coffee on sale too, also from their farm. Amazing hostel. Well done to the team. "
