Where to stay in Antigua Guatemala
Antigua Guatemala hotels & accommodations
Great hotel. Convenient, safe locations close to all the sites and great restaurants.
I have booked hotel Meson de Maria by reading good reviews. They did not disappoint me. Nice clean room, good wi-fi and good location for sightseeing. Only small complin was breakfast. Most of the food run out when I went there. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel.
Great location near market and obviously Antigua is so small so you can get anywhere easily by walking a few steps in either direction.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, very helpful staff. Like many other places in Guatemala there are mosquitos and no window screens no fans no AC! 😡
Great
Every aspect of our stay was spectacular. The bi-level suite was everything we hoped it would be. One very nice aspect of the hotel is that it is in a quieter part of the town, but not to the point of losing easy access to everything. Spectacular restaurant, attentive staff, and ambiance galore.
Antigua has wonderful choices, with beautiful patios and delicious breakfasts...this is not one of those.
Not among the luxurious hotels in Antigua, but if you're looking for a clean, cozy and very affordable spot, Santa Teresita is the place. It's a block outside of the main old-town, and it's right next to the main market, so it's less extravagant and showy, but it's a comfortable, easy-going place, the price is always right, and guests are welcome to use the kitchen. An...
The rooms are very basic, a few stains on the blanket, you don't have your own bathroom. However, location is great and staff is friendly. Also wifi was very good. Laundry option is nice too.
This place is overpriced and several of the staff at the desk are unfriendly. It's not a terrible place but you can find better
Stayed with a family group for just a night. It's a lovely welcoming place with beautiful gardens, comfortable and large rooms, very nice bathrooms and an amazing breakfast buffet.
Absolutely a good hotel. Clean, friendly staff and plenty of hot water. I have been in hotels in Antigua much more expensive with less of all. Recomended!
I was so fortunate to have found Casa Encantada! It was a lovely place to end my stay in Antigua--really a uniquely beautiful hotel, in a lovely old building. The staff was very attentive, spoke excellent English, and made my stay that much easier. Breakfast is on an outdoor terrace/rooftop and was cooked to order, then served elegantly. All for a modest price, tha...
The staff is so fiendly and the hotel is in the best location near central park. the pool is nice and clean. good place to stay when you visit Antigua.
very nice quiet hotel, with a friend so worked out similar to prices of a dorm for our own room and private bathroom. great roof terrace and the staff were all great.
We stayed in a room on second flour with a cozy balcony. The bathroom was very clean, but little hot water. (Probably it is common thing in most hotels in Guatemala.) Free drink water and coffee. Convenient location as it is close to market. A care taker on weekends is very kind.
This is a chill, comfortable hostel with good potential for socialization. And my appreciation to the staff for being so kind and helpful.
At the beginning of the trip we stayed at one of the most recommended hotels in this price range on Agoda - I doubt I can mention the name here. It was pristine as described - please read the reviews to find it - for the same price the room was double the size, fully adorned, included free and wonderful breakfast in the garden, and was 2 blocks from the center plaza bu...
Good location. Secure building and clean rooms. Nice rooftop area to cook and eat. Staff really helpful with booking tours and giving advice. Would stay again
The location is great, but the street in front of the holiday is pretty busy and can be loud at times. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is a typical Guatemalan, which is good!
Love the rustic feel to the hotel, which is located very conveniently beside the Arch, Staff were friendly.
Friendliness and efficiency of staff is amazing!! Care for the guests is one of the best if not the best we have ever had
Had a wonderful stay. WiFi worked well, rooms were beautifully decorated, and staff were cheerful and accommodating. Lots of extra little touches. A bit expensive, and parking costs extra.
I would recommend a small bar and some capacity of evening dining
excellent in all aspects. Safe and clean. Very friendly and helpful
An expatriate couple runs the intimate Casa Elena (4 rooms) and gives each guest personal attention and care. From a multitude of tips and suggestions about how to make the most of your visit to the hearty and delicious home-cooked complimentary breakfast, you feel truly welcome from the moment that you arrive. The house is not in the geographic center of town, but a...
The first room we got had no windows in it and smelled funny. When i went to the shower i smelled smoke and it was the electric wire for the shower heater. We got a new room but here the shower head kept leaking. The new room had windows in it, but was really noisy. Because everybody has breakfast close to our room and they like music in the morning we got woken up rea...
Our master suite room had the AC broke, the Call center says that the room only had air, we call to the reception and they only says that they are gona check, but the answer the next day was that the room is big and AC is too small. All the 3 days the master suite was very hot and with a smell. The manager send me and email only saying sorry. We pay 400 USD per nig...
