"unless you are in the demographic of middle-aged (or older) single italian male, steer clear of this hotel. no fee for guest to join makes the casa blanca very popular with the euro love tourists in fortaleza. nothing out of the ordinary to note here, except the breakfasts fresh and varied. whoever is buying the fruit is a real connoisseur. comfortable enough sleeping with free wifi in room, limited tv channel selection. except for elevators, this is a smoking throughout facility. rooftop pool is small, and no gym. hotel not close to nice beach, though is located on quiet street."

"Room was clean and modern. Nice bathroom. Room service menu was reasonable and the food was good. Nice pool. Breakfast was very hit and miss. Each morning there seemed to be less and less choice, but the ladies at the Egg Station were delightful. We had a problem with our room key (turned out it was the door) and this was resolved efficiently. The only downside is that the hotel is in the wrong location. Yes opposite a lovely beach, but you cannot go out nearby in the evenings without taking a taxi."

"This is a large hotel which needs updating. The bathroom in the appartment was small, old and in desperate need of an overhaul. That said, the main bedroom itself is large and airy with good air conditioning, albeit it loud. The hotel is a high building and the wind from the sea whips around the building and at times can keep you awake at night. Breakfast is typically Brazilian and was not to my liking. It is quite obvious that the hotel is trying to save money, and the breakfast gives it away. The room price is not cheap, but the breakfast is ! This was rather a big let down. Prices at the bar and for food is overprices but still affordable when compared to USA or Europe. The staff at the hotel do their very best to serve you, and this went a long way. Room service was quick. The swimming pool area only gets sun from early morning to early afternoon. It overlooks the street and pollution from the traffic means the deck is dirty, it is however still a pleasant place to admire the view of the beach and the ocean. Overall, I would say this is a good business hotel worthy of a stay of few days, but there are better hotels in the city with better facilities. "

"I booked this hotel during one weekend of the Confederation Cup when most other hotels were fully booked. Agoda said that the only room available was the quadruple room so I had to bite the bullet and take it even though I was a one person group. The hotel is not located in a safe part of Fortaleza, kinda tucked away in a neighborhood,up off the beach. The staff was friendly (no english but we got along fine) and the room was ok, relatively speaking compared to others I've stayed at in Brazil. The low rating comes from agoda giving me only a quadruple room price and they put me into a single room which is a cramped studio apartment type room. The mini bar was fairly priced, internet worked in the rooms, and the location is decent but i wouldn't stay there if you are not Brazilian or at least speak Portuguese. There could be trouble one day and this cost too much to be worth the risk."
