If you’re going to Egypt, there is no place more memorable and magical than this for Giza away from chaotic Cairo, which is still just an easy 30 minute drive away.
among the few hotels in 6th of october, novotel is relatively inexpensive yet it location is superior in comparison. 15 min walk to mall of arabia & 10 min away from local shops if you want a true egyptian buying experience. as will most hotels there, internet cost a lot. about daily. you can bring you laptop to the lobby if you want free wifi though. the free br...
Great location , walking distance to the pyramids. Gas station / convenience store nearby. Good food, outdoor area lovely along with a heated and non heated pool. Spent another 2 weeks travelling Egypt after this stay and wish all hotels could be like this one
We really liked this hotel , staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was smaller than expected but warm and comfortable, loved our little balcony with its great view of the pyramids There is not much around in terms of shops etc but that's what we liked about it. It is a short taxi ride into another part of Giza and all the drivers knew of this hotel so it was easy ...
This hotel is considered to be a luxurious one in Egyptian standards. The hotel itself is clean and quite well-maintained although it looks slightly old. Location wise, far from the downtown city area but relatively close to the Giza Pyramids site. The hotel is very very near to Egypt Mall which is great if you want to do some shopping or watch a movie- it’s quite a lu...
We were both very satisfied with our stay at barcello. A very modern and international standard hotel in Giza, a reasonably short distance from the sound and light show entrance to the pyramids in one direction, and the metro in the other direction to get to all the downtown sites for 1 Egyptian pound!
very nice welcom from the assistant manger very helpfull staff great rooms far loction beutiful viewe deliciouse buffet in the morning for brekfast at night hard to get ataxi very nice gulf courses the exerciise romm well equiped neerby mousque over all very nice hotel i will consider it next trip to egypt & to cairo in particuller
Not a good stay actually this is old to me, but location is ok staff easy and friendly but English are not that good. I won't stay here anymore for sure and I think you should look for others around.
I made 2 mistakes - booking 8 days for the hotel before I planned my itinerary cause went to aswan and luxor in between. And also paying more to be upgraded to the Nile view. Honestly nothing much to see and the balcony door couldnt open so didnt see anything. Pros - room is big and hotel was going thru some upgrades so it look pretty new. Bathroom was also big and s...
The location is superb, while the staff were so helpful. They even let us stay a bit longer without any charges
This hotel is a decent hotel for the price, and it 10-15 walk to the british muesum and the posh side of Cairo. However this Hotel is located in a dirty part of Giza. I booked this hotel since lot of reviews said it was close to the pyramids, which is not really true since it is 15 minutes by taxi to the pyramids. However the staff are very friendly and accomodating t...
The receiption staffs were very friendly and tried their best to get the room for what customer expected. As I was stranger in that city, concierage staffs provided usable information and guideline for me to access to the destination. Although the hotel outlook is old, but room was clean. Bathroom design needed to be improved as after bath the bathroom will get wet. Pa...
My husband and I traveled to Egypt on holiday in Sept 2009 and we tried a variety of 5 star hotels in Cairo including the Four Seasons First Residence, the Mena House Oberoi, and the Villa Belle Epoque bed and breakfast. We loved our stay at the Four Seasons First Residence. While the location is not within walking distance to the pyramids or museum, it's still close e...
The hotel is in the one of the good area in cairo, but crowded and too much noice of horn on the street. The staffs are find, helpful sometime. The breakfast is terrible stay 4 night but only had breakfast in the hotel just once. The room is not so bad clean and everything inside all work.
For those who are familiar with the 6th of October City, it is situated 30km south of Cairo. Not too long ago, it was once a desert. Egypt government has done and is doing a marvelous job to urbanize it to cater to residential and factory needs. Sheraton hotel is an oasis to see to this continuous transformation. With a major theme park right at its doorstep already. S...
Me and my wife stayed for 2 nights in this hotel in April 2015. This is not a hotel for a long leisure stay, I would describe it as an economy business hotel. It doesn't offer many services, the pool is very small, I've seen nobody using it during my stay, probably because of a very noisy atmosphere around it, it's located outside and separated from one of the busiest ...
This was my best hotel experience in Cairo. The hotel was really clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is also located in a quiet neighbourhood and is very near restaurants and shopping areas, making it very convenient. The check-in and check-out were also done very quickly. Will definit...
As an avid motorcycle traveller I have been to some far-begotten places and The Pyramids View Inn is one of the best places I have stayed on my current RTW trip. If you're looking for a place near the Pyramids of Giza, with such a great view of them that you can watch the Sound & Light show from there at night (for FREE), with phenomenal breakfast (for a small extra fee), optional yummy dinner delivered from nearby, a kitchen to use if you like, and awesome guys running the place that are more than happy to help you with any qu...
the staff was helpful and friendly the room was clean the tv was old with little Arabic channels the breakfast was poor ... no variety in the bakery only 2 kinds of bread no tea and coffee machine.. the staff served them the juice was fresh in total it was a good stay, but needs more attention for the breakfast buffet
Good location, best view of the pyramid Eslam is the best! He will go out of his way to assist his guests. Very hospitable and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Food is great. Will surely recommend this place to everyone. I love Cheops Pyramid Inn!

Real reviews for hotels
We didn't explore Giza to much as we were there during the governmental protests. Enjoyed Egypt anyway!
Some people is not nice especialy Horse man. They very annoy the trip. He force to use his horse for short tour around Pyramid optional 800 , 1200 1600 egypt pound in fact I found only 200 Egypt pound with the same tour around pyramid on next day.
From the Cairo airport to Giza, it can take about 2 hours. Rather prearrange transport to your hotel as it can become overwhelming when taxis services start to hound you.
