"First time I have EVER stayed in a hostel and all I can say is "WOW"! This was such an amazing experience for me, and would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone wanting to stay in Jaco. The owner (sorry forget his name) was always around and extremely friendly, the staff was always friends and the place was immaculate! "The hotel was a ghost town, hard to find staff when problem with door arose. Beds were like sleeping on rocks, and the sheets were old and not soft with stains. Room pictures make it seem nicer than it is. No hot water. Air conditioning did not cool down room. Staff did not speak English. Decor was old and out dated. Overall would not recommend for anyone."

"No complaints during our stay. The first room we got had a slight smell but we were switched to a new one right away. The pool is nice, the beach and lots of restaurants are a short walk away. The staff were super friendly. No fridges in the rooms but had access to the kitchen."
