Where to stay in Kampala
Kampala hotels & accommodations
The only problem was the accommodation booked so not available. The fault of the hotel or website? Had to have a different room at more coat. Still enjoyed it all and staff helpful sorting the problem out.
Always stayed at the Serena when I'm in Kampala, but this time they surpassed expectation. The staff were available and willing to be of help and the rooms were perfect, serene and exquisite. You wouldn't realize you were in one of Kampala's busiest area. Plus to proximity to many great places to eat and enjoy the social life.
I booked this place for my mum who needed a get-away. I live outside of Uganda. The customer service was amazing. When I called to see if she had checked in, the front staff were so friendly and assuring. There was no hassle for her when she checked in. The room , executive room was gorgeous. It had a fridge, microwave, mini hot plate and a king sized bed. I was ve...
I was in Kampala and I need a quick place to stay for the night so I found your hotel online and I was quite surprised how spectacular it was I had a great sleep I had a great shower and breakfast was wonderful
Business centre useful but printing not colour. Large business lounge normally unused so very useful for business meets at no extra cost Excellent gym with free instructors and lots of kit so never ever waiting. Sauna is very good Swimming pool excellent though cold Food in general is good but we are not talking haute cuisine. TV channels very limited but adequate WiF...
Pro: Safety Cons: Very old hotel building where more than 20 years. The room and hotel doesn't show value for money.
Chinese menu only Staff at reception not really helpful
Booked a single room at $59. Could not close my mouth at poor room condition. Only two soaps are in the toilet and not sure when it was cleaned. All the noise outside coming in due to poor ceiling without any soundproof material. I am not that tall only 175cm but could not stretch my legs all the way in the bed due to it frame. Only thing I liked about this hot...
The hotel room was not what was advertised on Agoda. It was overpriced and ultimately disappointing and I've stayed in much more impressive hotels in Kampala for so much less.
I've been a frequent visitor at this hotel over the past year but do not trust and in particular for women, who might be living, working in Uganda they will tell you they have rooms, it will show up as booked on this website and others and when you reach they will take you to an offsite place about 15 minutes away down a lane that is frankly uncomfortable. You will be ...
Staff and Manager on duty decided to block our room access card due to the mistake of the check-in staff did not ask for deposit money. After coming back from our visiting we found our doors access cards are blocked and we where forced to keep our families on the collider till we go and pay the deposit money. WE TOLD THEM THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS DUE ...
First of all, if you are thinking about going to Uganda for a vacation stop thinking about it and DO IT! I have been to over 40 countries and I can honestly say nothing can beat Uganda. The people, the nature, the adventures even the food was all fantastic. Second, the Humura Resorts are a great place to stay. Kampala, while a great city is very busy, crowded and n...
Comfortable in the overall sense except that it is very far away from the airport at Entebbe.
Everyone know the property is very beautiful with ideal location in Bugulobi area. Rooms and balcony is spacious. The management striving for good services with avaiable options., must appeciate the Managers and zeal to betterment....... Training and putting the right staffs is a, challenge and wishing all the best.
Should rate 2/5 ..price is affordable.
stayed here for third time's. the water pressure is very low in my room for this stay
Nice hotel with value of money

Great breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, spacious rooms and good location. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Kampala.
Clean hostel, in touristy area of Kampala, busy with other backpackers and groups of volunteers. The hostel staff were very nice however didn’t have a good experience in the restaurant and I checked out early and moved as I felt uncomfortable. Rude waitress in the restaurant argued with me, insinuating that I was a liar about the meal that I received making a scene in ...
This hotel is a good choice if you are in Kampala as it is close to restaurants, bars and some night life. It is also within walking distance from the Acacia mall. The service and house keeping is excellent.
