Amazing stay at pool villa 1. Restaurant offers great food with excellent and warm service. Staff are very service minded. The room wasn't cheap but we stayed in another hotel in Koh Tao earlier with similar price but quality was well below. I gave full marks for everything but the hotel is a bit isolated. (Great for people who want a quiet and relaxing time.) So, 10 for everything, 9/10 for location.

Lodging - Great bungalows and resort feel. I had stayed at another resort in Koh Tao for three days prior to Sairee, and Sairee stood out in every way. 5 minute walk to every major beach bar you'd want to hit, and there's also a Sairee Restaurant right on the beach. Diving - did my Advanced Open Water certification with James. I was a little nervous about the night and deep dives, but the professionalism and knowledge of the staff quickly put me at ease. Did a few dives with Roktopus, one of top rated dive shops, as well, and Sairee was just as good if not better. Service - had one the greatest customer service experiences of my life here. I lost my shoes on the way from the hotel to the pier. I called and asked if they had seen them, and they went out of their way to find them, and then ship them to me via ferry that same day. Really incredible way to end an incredible experience in Koh Tao through Sairee Cottage.

Staff were super kind. Pool was awesome and huge. Room decor was neat, and the room was super clean. Mattress firm. Water was unlimited at the front desk, and the mini bar was stocked and pretty cheap which was convenient. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay somewhere a bit more upscale that what is typical in Koh Tao. It's far enough from the center to be quiet at night, but really still just a short walk to the center of the beach.

This was my third stay on Sairee Beach in Koh Tao. I wanted something slightly away from the crowds, so Koh Tao Cabana, situated on the northernmost corner of Sairee, seemed ideal. When our ferry arrived, the resort taxi service was nowhere to be seen. Fortu ately another driver from a different resort called for us, and within 10 minutes our ride came to pick us up. Our first impressions of Koh Tao Cabana were good. The grounds were beautiful, the offices charming, and the staff welcoming. They gave us some nice fresh juice and wet towels to clean face and hands while completing the necessary paperwork upon check-in. Our cottage was up on the hill away from the restaurant. The further up the hill, the better the view. We were nearly at the top, so the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The cottage itself was very nice, both inside and out. The pictures online actually don't do it justice! Each cottage is made to blend into the natural environment - truly tropical, but not particularly "Thai" ... very luxurious, however! Many reviewers here complain about the mosquitoes, especially when showering or using bathroom in the open-air (yet private) facilities. Behined the cottage. BRING lotions/creams for bites! The resort will provide gallons of insect spray, but you'll be it anyway ... bring your favorite "after bite" ... you'll get bitten all over Sairee or other beaches as well. The restaurant at Cabana is wonderful! Each morning they give you options for breakfast - omelets, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, etc. You can have your fill. We ate dinner at the restaurant one evening as well. Very nice food, but nothing spectacular. Better than most places on the beach, but you'll pay slightly more for it as well. The dining environment can't be beat! Morning or night, the view is wonderful, and the staff attentive and helpful. We didn't make much use of the private beach lounge, but some other guests were there daily. There is also a spa which we didn't use.

Situated on one of the best snorkeling areas on Koh Tao (we saw 5-6 sharks merely 300 meters from the hotel). It is quiet, the resort provides free shuttle to/from the pier and Sairee beach (good for food). The room we had was right at the beach, which made for exquisite morning routine. Breakfast is good, with eggs made to order. Lunch and dinner are available at the restaurant. Decent food, especially good for when you just want to spend the day not moving anywhere. Otherwise, you can jump to Sairee for some really delicious food. Staff was always positive and attentive. A minor setback was that their English ranged from poor to decent to good, and you had to speak to several people sometimes for simple things. But there was no harm done, so, all good :) Note that the prices they offer for daytrips are higher than what you can easily negotiate at the pier. Trip to Nang Yuan cost 1000 THB for two at the hotel, and we got it down to 600THB with the first guy who appoached us. Overall - a peaceful, quiet, romantic place, with a great beach for lazying and snorkeling and kayaking. Smiling people, ok food, and free transport to the island hubs for more. Recommended!

Amazing stay. Jamahkiri staff organized free transfer from another hotel in Koh Tao. Service was impeccable through the whole stay. Yummy food. One of the best diving spot of Koh Tao located down the stairs. Perfect for romantic stay as a bit far from busy spots of Koh Tao (far means 10/15min by car). Had a traditional thai massage which were bit disappointing to my view. Would definitely recommend this hotel and come back whenever I can!

Me and my friends went to Koh Tao for the first time in September. We booked the hotel Charm Churee Village for 1st night, and Koh Tao bamboo hut for 2nd night (same hotel owner, but different name due to different locations and views). When we arrived at Mae Hard pier, there was a hotel staff waiting for us at the pier to take us to the hotel, and they also sent us back to pier to get on the ferry back to Suratthani. The location of the hotel is convenient to walk to the pier ~ 800 meters (10 min.walk), the pier has souvenir store and 7-11. The restaurant of the hotel is spectacular beautiful. the view of the sea just in front of you when you have breakfast or dinner!! Breakfast is buffet. and the food is delicious. The staff is very helpful!!! and very warm welcome. The view from the room is very beautiful!!! and spectacular!!! but there just one little thing that may not convenient, if you're with the elderly or children, the hotel stands on the rock. so you have to walk on the rock and a little climb. and the guide sign in the hotel was quite hard to find. but overall we have very pleasant stay in Charm Churee Villa, Koh Tao very much. if we come back to Koh Tao, we'll definitely back again!!

We loved Shark bay. It's such a secluded small bay with amazing waters. Definitely the best beach we'd been to in Koh Tao and Koh Samui combined. The resort is nice but I'd recommend that if you stay to pay the extra and get a bungalo on the beach as the resort rooms themselves are a bit far back, lots of steps, and not all rooms have a view of the bay. But we still loved it here and you have a choice of two good restaurants. You can also hire snorkels from the resort or organise a diving trip. To get into town is hard as they have limited scheduled shuttles so you'd have to get a taxi if those times didn't suit. However if you're looking for a few days to escape you wouldn't want to go anyway here anyway - we didn't. Only thing I was a little disappointed about was no gym but not a biggy. Would definitely come back here!

Had a beautiful stay with my wife. Everything was thought of. Booked one night, but extended for another 5 nigts. Couldn't leave. Fast check-in. Stunning rooms and swimming pool. Very nice breakfast buffet and, lunch and dinner was nice with many choices and good service. Great support from staff and management when needed to organize small trips and snorkeling trips around on Koh Tao. Had a diving reception as well, but didn't try. Looked very professional though. Cooking class is a must try. This was our first time on Koh Tao so it was important for us to have the support of the staff to know the do's and dont's on Koh Tao, and that they did very well. Will definitely come back here again. We did read other reviews before choosing this place and they are very mixed, and I must say that we were very surprised that this resort gets bad reviews after staying here.

The best thing about this hotel was waking up and looking out over the balcony to the sea. Great views. Our room was detached, and had great privacy. Could pretty much have walked out and sat on the balcony naked, and no one would be any the wiser. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful, mostly Cambodians. They keep out of your way but are happy to assist if needed. Some people might not like the road in to the hotel. Welcome to Koh Tao, where all the best places need you to have a little Indiana Jones about you. Roads can be tricky. Rutted, steep, and slippery when wet. Pinnacle is no exception. Hire a bike from Oli's in Mae Haad. No shenanigans, no need to leave my passport, no exorbitant fees for non-existant scratches and the best scooter I've ever hired in S.E. Asia. If you don't know how much this means just Google "Koh Tao motorbike scam". There is a van that can take you into town, can't comment on this as I was happily taking my hog up and down the hills rather than using this service. All up, had a great stay at this hotel. My third or fourth time in Koh Tao, and this was the best hotel yet.

Highly recommend, I have never bothered to write a review before and I have stayed at some great hotels around the world. Bamboo Huts is simply amazing, the vibes and feeling I got when I was there are priceless. Perfect for Honeymoon very discreet, private & quiet setting. However I did stay in the more expensive Private Pool Villa so can't be quoted on the other rooms. All in all a must do if you're in KOH TAO!!! Thanks

Location is perfect balance between being close to the Sairee beach (especially by the hotel’s shuttle) and at the same time being surrounded by the oasis of beautiful peaceful nature offering spectacular views. Free transfer from the Koh Tao pier was perfectly on time exactly as we arranged via messenger the day before arrival. Next on the list was the smoothest possible check-in with lovely receptionist explaining us all the details and offering welcome drinks and wet towels to refresh. Meanwhile our luggage was taken to the golf cart which together with the receptionist took us to the villa we booked. In the villa the same receptionist took the time to show us everything and made sure we are all good (thumb up-well done lady!). It took us a while to comprehend it all, we felt for a while a bit like Alice in the Wonderland. We couldn’t decide whether to look from the spacious terrace and stay amazed by the views or jump in that bed which was absolutely amazing and comfortable and enjoy the views from there. I’m not even going to write about the equipment and furniture in the villa I will only say it was surprising how they were able to combine authenticity of the surrounding with the comfort these villas offer just amazing and pleasure from every point of view. When we thought it couldn’t get better, we were blown away by the breakfast the next morning, simply delicious and extremely wide selection of different food. We loved the swimming pool as well, clean, spacious, deep, offering nice views of course. If you would ask us whether we would stay again in The Tarna Align Resort when comming to Koh Tao again we would simply reply we will come to Koh Tao again just to stay in this resort and enjoy it more! Thanks to every staff member who made it great for us! See you soon... P.S. We were trying to find some cons or areas to improve but we couldn’t really, there was none. :)

I would recommend this Resort to anyone or any couple. We stayed 2 weeks in Koh Tao and we found Sensi Paradise our favourite by far. We had a lovely bungalow tucked away from the beach and was very romantic (rm 324) in fact they all are very romantic. The staff are so friendly to talk to and incredibly friendly. We were sad to leave. When we eventually go back to Koh Tao, we will stay at Sensi....without a shadow of a doubt :))

A lonely spot and a pearl on Koh Tao. Great location for snorkeling and relaxing. Far away from the busy Sairee. You can only get there by sea, but the resort offer free pick up and transfer to Sairee. The staff are very friendly and their English is on the average level to expect on a resort like this in Thailand. The Italian manager was most helpful when a member of our family got an infection caused by mosquito bite. He fixed allergy medicine from the pharmacy at Sairee first, and when that did not help he arranged for transport and visit to a doctor. Problem fixed. The Thai food at the restaurant is actually very nice, and the prices are not as scary as you might expect on a resort without any other options to eat. All in all a great place from where to experience Koh Tao and great value for money.

We Went to Koh Tao in a group of 4 for 4 nights and stayed at the pool side room. The location is excellent as it is close to restaurant and bars. Also scuba dive with Seashell Divers in just a group of 3 divers which is perfect for us as we dislike big groups, Mike and Johan took care of us and saw whaleshark on our last dive! We will be back if we ever go back to Koh Tao again

We booked the three bedroom pool villa for three nights and had an amazing time in Koh Tao. It is perfect for a group of friends or family. The room overlooked the sea and each bedroom was in a seperate air-conditioned villas and the living room had a huge adjoining terrace. The pool also overlooked the sea. We had the pleasure of having Khun Lyn, the hotel staff, help us with all things from ferry and taxi bookings to restaurant recommendations. She was extremely helpful and made our trip that much easier. Although the place is a bit far off the main sairee beach, there are free shuttles from the hotel through the day.

Excellent hotel with well appointed rooms and a good diving school. The restaurant has a good menu and the pools and beach are very nice. It is a 15 minute drive to the main part of koh Tao but frequent taxis operate for 150 thb per person. The dive shop is excellent and not as crowded as the other dive centres on the island so I would recommend staying here for diving courses (also, discounts may apply on accommodation so check that out before you book). Will be back there next time I'm in koh Tao.

My son & daughter in-law bought me a stay at Coral Grand resort on Koh Tao via Agoda last year to give to me on my 65th birthday, which was at the beginning of this year. When they gave me my present I started looking into the reviews for the place since I had never been to Koh Tao and I was of cause very curious of where I was going to stay. I must admit that I started getting a little nervous after reading some of the reviews for this place, but agreed to myself that I would not let a few bad reviews ruining my holiday. I arrived to Koh Tao via LOMPRAYAH (local catamaran) from Koh Samui and was met by 3 young gentlemen holding a sign with my name and a few others. We were immediately directed to the taxi’s that would take us to the resort. I was taken up a few steps to the reception/lobby area where they were waiting for us with a small glass of lemonade and helped us check in. The Sailor cottage that I got had a very nice vintage look to it. Cozy, cleaned every day, comfortable bed, nice toilet shower facilities connected with a few steps which I thought was a nice tropic touch to the whole feel. Over all, I liked my room very much. The beach was absolutely stunning and clean. 2 guys were working very hard every day to maintain this area of beach, which was definitely not the case in front of the next door resorts. A nice in house restaurant with lovely Thai food and western dishes. In house dive center with staff that was ready to help and accommodate with everything. I wasn’t diving, but I did get help and advice to where I should go snorkeling and what to see, and where to go in the evening on Koh Tao. I have been travelling a lot in my time and I thought this was worth all the money. Great location, Great staff, great food on a great little island. What more can you ask for. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone regardless of age, single or couple.

i have stayed in alot of hotels and this is the top three hotels of all time. from the beginning you are greeted at the ferry doc by the staff and taken to a secluded area of koh tao. it's absolutely beautiful, the beach is amazing and the beach bar is the best. i recommend the cocktails they are really good price and very tasty! you cannot fault this place in any way. the food is amazing, the staff are so kind and helpful and the rooms and facilities are immaculate. i will be going back to koh tao and i would never consider staying anywhere else but haditen. we met dome french people who have stayed in many resorts in koh tao and they said that this was the best resort on the island. would also recommend heading down the road and doing some diving it's an amazing experience.

We were greeted and picked up by staff, who were very friendly. Great location in Koh Tao, 5-10 minute walk into town and to Sairee beach yet nestled on a hillside, very private with ocean views. Nice deep plunge pool. Great self contained villa with a luxury feel. The attention to detail is great, we got personalised name tags hung on our front door and a great selection of hand picked wines in the mini bar and comprehensive movie selection for those who don't want to venture out. Complimentary food basket provided as well. Clean and spacious bathroom. as well as comfortable bedding. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Accommodation was beautiful on the beachfront. Water was clear and beach was cleaned every morning by lovely staff. We loved the location and found Mae Haad a lot cleaner and more friendly than Sairee Beach. Prandees restaurant was excellent with authentic thai food at great prices (next to Ananda villas near pier. Reception and all staff were brilliant Thai food at restaurant yummie and very delicious! The green tiled pool was super clean and unique...would definitely come here every time on Koh Tao.

This resort is cheapest private one on Koh Tao, it's located on main street and Sairee beach. Nice garden, spacious room. Just across opposite on the main road, there is noodles soup shop, and 200 m to 7-11 store where you can find various food truck, local southern foods from the local people ( in the evening),very convenient. In front of my room has a small table and 2 chairs for dining & relaxing.Bathrooms are seperated. They clean up every day. I would stay again for my next trip in Koh Tao.

Hotel is in a great location for Koh Tao. Close enough to everything around sarie beach but far enough that it’s quite at night. We stayed here for 13 nights; room was cleaned everyday, bed made, new towels and free water everyday. We had breakfast included which you get given a slip but they allowed us to have anything off the menu. Breakfast was 7.30-11.30 but as we dived most days and some days were back after this; they still allowed us to have our free breakfast even at 1pm! The staff are really friendly too! Booked a ferry with them and there’s a bike place next door (next to the shop) which was cheap and we had no problems renting with them. There’s a pool at the hotel next door which you can use for 150 bhat. There is building work going on next door which the lady informed us on check in however only woke us once. Would 100% recommend and defineltly will be back if we come back to Koh Tao!

We had read so many mixed reviews about hotels on Koh Tao that we didn't book anything in advance but just walked around to see what's available. The second I saw the room in Regal I said "we'll take it". The AC is quiet and efficient and the hot water + water pressure are reliable. The 3 pools make it easy to play around with kids. The beach is nice and the bar is a relaxing hangout. For the first time on my travels in Thailand I didn't need earplugs to get a good night sleep. It's worth the money!
