Liuqiu hotels & places to stay

Outline hotel is located quite away from the city area however, its peaceful and quiet. There's a charcoal bbq buffet nearby and its definitely worth going. Will strongly recommend to get a bike/scooter to get to the hotel. Breakfast was really amazing and delicious (very instagramable hahaha) overall i will recommend this hotel and i would like to stay in outline hotel again when i visit liuqiu the next time!

This accommodation was surprisingly good. Easy to find. About 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Room was spacious with 2 double beds. Wifi strength and air con were very good. There was even a small balcony and the view was beautiful. There were even complimentary cans of beer in the refrigerator. Toilet was basic but spacious. There is a water dispenser on the ground floor. Lady who checked us in was very informative and used a map to tell us the places we should visit on the island. You could rent scooters from them but since there were 4 adults and 1 child, we decided to pay a little more and rent a car to explore the island. The same lady helped us rent the car. Overall, a nice accommodation and worth staying if you’re visiting Liuqiu.

the owner lady speaks only chinese, but very kind and offers comfortable service. the house is just in front of the sea, and u can go down there by the stairs from the house. u may see two big turtle couple there. the breakfast comes from takeaway shop by 8, u can choose sandwich and drink. it takes abt 15 mins walk from the jetty, it's not far, but it's more convenient to rent an electric bike first in front of the jetty(abt 300 taiwan yen per day).

PRO: -This is a new property in xiaoliuqiu run by a very nice lady. - Beds are comfortable and the shower has good pressure. CONS: -Found it to be quite expensive for what we were getting. We paid more than we had for much nicer properties in Kaohsiung/Taiwan in general. - No amenities in the room besides two bottles of water. - Our room was facing a metal container. - Breakfast choice was rather limited.

The house is in a relatively quiet area. Room has a cartoonish/childish vibe and is clean. Nice balcony with good chairs and pleasant lighting for spending the evening. If I could wish for one thing it might be a longer duvet, as it was quite short for a tall person. 😅 The hostess does not speak English, but is super sweet and helpful. She also stood up for us when there was a misunderstanding with our scooter rental. We communicated using Google Translate as well as by talking via her daughter on her phone.

When we reached there, we were provided with motorbikes from Daifuting. However, we do not have license for motorbikes so they have us to rent the motorbicycles for another shop. They offered to send our heavy and big luggages up with motorbikes. The room provided for us was really clean and cosy! The owners of the place were really welcoming and helpful! They offered to help us with our laundry as they have washing machines there. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend this to everyone. We would come back to this place again!

My stay at the Xiao Liuqiu, the beautiful island is further accentuated by the lovely Su Beautiful home stay experience. Hotel is beatifully decorated and the host and his wife are very friendly people who made nice hearty breakfasts complete with pork chops, eggs, toast, freshly squeeze juice and nice nespresso coffe for my short 2 days stay there. The host Mr Su is also very nice to ferry us around in view that we are not confident enough to rent the motobikes to go around the island. The amenities in the room are nice, with free mini bar, Loccitane toileteries, lavender spa bath oil for the nice round tub, nespresso machine, free personalised slippers for you to bring home. Hotel is relatively new, built from scratch for only 6 months. I am really glad that I chanced upon this hotel in Agoda and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to stay over the beautiful Xiao Liuqiu island.

Great accomodation a bit far from the city centre and the harbour, but the environment was really beautiful. Small, but peaceful little garden, comfortable bed and nice staff. The bathroom wasn't completely clean and the swimming pool is open only from 4 pm, but in overall we are satisfied with the hotel's service. The breakfast could be also improved a bit, mostly only Chinese-style food was offered.

Come down from the ferry walk to the right all the way till a cross junction and turn right then can see the hotel. Is easy to find. Initially we wanted to add bed in our room but the hotel was very kind to upgrade our room from 2 beded to 4 beded and gave us breakfast for free. Thanks for the good service. Staffs are very helpful shown us the way to go around island and help us to rent the battery bikes.

The best Ming Su experience we had. We were caught off guard that the public transport on the island is only electric scooter. My wife and 2 daughters does not know how to ride them. The boss of the Ming Su, his family members and staffs were so kind to take turn to fetch us around the island on scooter for the entire 2 days 1 night - till 1030pm, we were still doing night tour. We did not miss any itinerary that we wanted to cover on the island. They went beyond their duty to ensure that we had a wonderful time on the beautiful island. Their knowledge of the island is so impressive that we learned a lot about it. The snorkeling trip and BBQ dinner that they arranged were very good and reasonably priced. We saw 6 turtles! It was our best experience out of our 10 days South Taiwan Trip.

Staffs are very helpful in booking moto/ electronic bike/ scuba diving/ diving/ night time barbecue etc. for you. Walking distance to the only 7-11 on the island. There's a lovely puppy call "coffee" who will welcome you at the lobby. Breakfast comes with simple toast, congee etc. The best thing is they have free cookies, lemon water, cakes at the lobby for tea time. I pretty much enjoy the stay in this Antoni Gaudí's like hotel.

we stayed two nights, the room was clean, the homestay is 5-10 min away from Beauty Cave and from the ferry by scooter (you have to rent a scooter because there are very few buses). Every morning the local, handmade breakfast is different. The best of the homestay is the owner, he is very nice, talkative, gives good advice and very generous: he cooked for us his favourite instant noodles, offered us beer, took us to see the stars at the sunset point, offered us some Taiwanese specialities when we left. He is really very kind. Only negative point : there is no luggage pick up from the ferry so if you have many big luggage on a scooter it's not easy. accommodation on the island is expensive in general in comparison with the rest of Taiwan

We got the last room of this B&B, and it turned out to be a storage room. Although the room was a bit messy and full of stuffs, bath tub was not probably connected so water was all over the floor when taking a shower, I still think it's acceptable as I booked it at last minute which left me with not many options. All other rooms should be much better and I would still come back and stay at this place next time.

Checked in for my 1N stay while I was at Liuqiu and was upgraded to a family room (from a double room) as the hotel was on low occupancy. Room was extremely big with a 55 inch LCD TV and 2 queen beds and a balcony. Staff was friendly in recommending places to visit. As the room wasn't ready, we were told to leave our luggage and go ahead to explore the island first, and they would drop us a message when it's ready for checking into. Only downside was the it's location. It's located 2km away from the harbour and travelers with huge suit cases without any transportation plans might face trouble lugging their luggage from the harbour to the hotel. Backpackers like us can opt to rent an electric bicycle at the harbour for 300NT per day and the rental place will ferry your luggage to the hotel for you while you follow after them on your rented bike free of your baggage weight. Breakfast was local Taiwanese affair that was extremely filling but nothing to write home about.

Staff very friendly, but no English at all. comfortable beds, Silent and adjustable ac. Fridge in bathroom. About 1 km from private ferry harbour. Directly at sea, but no beach accessible for swimming. The one 200 m to left is full with fish cadavers - but the smell is no more noticeable at hotel. On the terrace nice seaview but totally lit up by flood lights all night ( not that romantic however good for reading). neighbors (fishermen) are pretty busy and shouting to each other all day, however silent at night. Breakfast 1 sandwich and soy milk or tea. Not much but nice. Had to ask for new towels everyday, no room cleaning during our 3 nights stay. It is a home stay like hostel, with very friendly atmosphere. Would go there again can recommend it.

first they changed our room to a small dark room at another hotel cause they were still cleaning the room we were supposed to stay. then my friend told them we could wait for the original room since the room they changed was really bad. the girl that worked at another hotel was not so polite. she kept saying the room we booked was way smaller than the room they had. but we didnt want that room. then she told us to come back and check into the room we wanted. when we got back, there was no one at the hotel. i had to call the lady that owned the hotel we originally booked.. and apparently the girl did not inform the lady that we'd wanted our room back.. the next morning we thought breakfast was included.. but there was nothing there..
