"This hotel was the perfect location for our family to enjoy Luang Prabang during Songkran. We visited the morning and night markets daily as the hotel is located just steps from each. We walked with our two young children to lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants and visited local cultural sites all within walking distance of the hotel. The room was perfect with 2 large beds and a bathroom with a tub and separate shower. The only thing missing from the room was a clothes rack to dry all our soaking wet clothing from Songkran water fights!"

"We were so pleased with everything, check in was a breeze, the care taker showed us to our room. The premises was beautiful and we absolutely loved how gorgeous the waterfalls were that were literally at our doorstep. We even took a dip, though cold it was refreshing lol You guys I’m not kidding it looks just just like the pictures( well if you come during the right season I presume) me and my boyfriend were over joyed lol a very peaceful stay and yep it was about 9-10 minutes walking to the main attraction. The Kuang Si falls as well as the sunbear sanctuary. Staff was so nice and helped us with everything. They even have a shuttle back to luang prabang city that we utilized at check out. It was so beautiful there I can’t stress it enough. "

"We arrived here at 11:30pm after a long bus journey, and were immediately made to feel welcome, with welcome drinks and tips on where to get dinner at that hour. The grounds were truly amazing - it was like an enchanted garden. The room was perfect. Breakfast was good every morning (the home made jam is addictive!). No complaints at all. We stayed several days and thought we'd try somewhere else. After one night we returned here and stayed for the rest of our time in Luang Prabang. William the manager, and all the staff, are more than helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It truly was service with a smile! The free bikes are fantastic to cycle around town. The hotel is a little further out from town than others, possibly a 10-15 min walk, but this is no real issue and ensures you don't get woken up by the monks drumming early in the morning! We loved Maison Dalabua and can't recommend it enough - it was our home in Luang Prabang! "

"Wow! So happy we found View Khem Khong Guesthouse! Great riverside location with gorgeous riverfront restaurant (delicious breakfasts, fruit shakes, and Lao and Luang Prabang specialties!) What really makes this hotel unique, though, is the amazing staff. From arranging waterfall visits to recommending restaurants, massage places, and the best sights/sites around, Eric is the best! Cold A/C, fast wifi, hot water showers.... you can't go wrong!"

"The woman running this guesthouse is extremely friendly and speaks decent English. I was greeted with a huge smile, a welcome fruit plate and fresh squeezed juice. The property is very clean, the rooms are serviced daily and there are several options for the sizeable, free breakfast. Great central location. My room was small and the mattress a bit saggy but it had everything I needed for a comfortable 3 nights: lots of plugs, bedside lamp, water, coffee with kettle etc. Laundry is done for a very reasonable 90,000 kip per kilo. This was my fourth stay in Luang Prabang, all at different guesthouses, and this was the nicest and best value for money."
