Majorca hotels & places to stay

The rooms are very clean, spacious with beautiful interior. The bed was super comfortable and the best part was the view! This hotel have breathtaking views!! The staff were very nice and helpful, and excellent breakfast with a wide range of choices. Location is super ideal with the beach and restaurants a few steps away and buss stop 1 minuet walk away. The buss takes you all the way to the central and all main attractions. Highly recommended hotel and I will definitely come back!

Great breakfast selection, served with awful coffee and cava. There was a Nespresso machine in our room, but no coffee capsules were provided. We had to pay 5.00 Euro extra for 4 capsules at the reception as long as we were regular guest, not all-inclusive guests. Not really a 5-star hotel experience, but the staff were friendly and very professional so we had a pleasant stay.

PROS 1) Helpful happy staff that will go the extra mile for you – who have to put up with a lot of verbal abuse and drunken behaviour 2) Hotel facilities – Excellent – Pools, etc 3)Apartments – Clean , comfortable - Been refurbished to a very high standard, clean, welcoming – where else have 2 42” Tv screens in bedroom and living room – great balcony 4) Breakfast – This can compete with the best – so much choice and really 10/10 5) Excellent location – for beach and restaurants6)Cleaning Staff – excellent – they deserve a medal to clean up the filth that the stag and hen groups leave. BAD points 1) Glad we were only self catering and breakfast as we were going to go in one night for evening meal but it was like feeding time at the zoo,.drunk British groups on AI, being obnoxious and rude to all. – 2) Pools great – managed to get sun beds.

We had a good family weekend in Majorca. We chose this hotel because of it's location & because it had a pool. Unfortunately the road noise seriously detracted from our enjoyment both in the rooms at night and around the pool in the daytime. This meant that we sourced other beach clubs for R & R. However the location of the hotel was excellent as it meant we could walk into the old town in the evenings and we never needed taxi's. Staff were excellent & very helpful suggesting excellent beach clubs and making restaurant reservations for us. Hotel is getting a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.

I was there only for two nights but I plan to stay longer next time, because of: 1) The hotel's staff was great very polite, supporting and helpful to accommodate any request or provide any information; 2) excellent location - almost on the beach, very close to Airport and very easy and cheap to get to the beautiful historic center of Palma;(1.5 Euro one way): 3) Good value for the money and excellent choices for breakfast and dinner (buffet style), interesting cultural events to spend the evenings in the hotel; 4) Very clean; Thank you

Me and my mum stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We wanted to stay somewhere that was easy to get to from the airport and close to all the amenities and the beach. Hotel Roc Linda is a good budget hotel, the rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast, lots of options for cooked and continental. The staff we really helpful and friendly too. The pool is small but adequate for a dip to keep cool. The hotel was quiet, mostly families and couples so no loud groups which was good. Overall this is a good 3 star hotel and I would recommend it if you're looking for a slightly cheaper option. Me and my mum had a very pleasant stay here.

On our arrival at the check in desk, we were automatically provided with an upgrade room including balcony sea view at no extra cost- this turned out to be an gratefully received gesture as we then had full view of Palma bay and the bright lights beyond.... so a really big thank you ! My partner had developed mobility problems on day of departure from UK but thankfully all the staff we came into contact at the hotel were really helpful...so another big thank you. We had only booked a short 3 night stay at the hotel, but the more than adequate on site facilities including everything provided within the hotel package and immediate environment was to a good standard and easily accessible which suited us just fine. Please be aware-should there be a need to explore beyond the hotel grounds, there are no shops and only a few independent café style bars at low terrain level (the hotel is set up on hill to achieve benefit of bay views below). The hotel cable car style lift was a real blessing for getting down to lower street level and bus stops. All in all everything at the hotel is just perfect for adults and the general mood / atmosphere was of a friendly European mix. Worth 5*'s without a shadow of a doubt and a great place to have a 'chill- out' !

I recently returned from a quick trip for a friend's surprise birthday .... unfortunately I was unable to stay in the Villa with my friends so I searched for accommodation near by ...these apartments were a surprising little find! I thought I'd be sad to be away from my friends but the location and feel of the apartments quickly changed my mind n I enjoyed returning to them... Pros the beach is literally 5mins at the end of the street! It had everything I needed to self cater (with a Lidl around the corner) or a minutes walk to restaurants no matter which direction you walk in. The Port and BelleVue strip are 15mins walk in either direction. Staff are polite and helpful...I felt safe being alone. overall so clean and modern. free WiFi. It's on a main road which is great if staying alone like myself! Cons Pool is quite open to the street (I didn't use it, not in October but I wouldnt have been comfortable to either) would recommend alot more privacy to guests.

Good hotel in a great location. best thing about it was the friendliness of the staff and breakfast. Had a fright after having a spa one evening when the light went off while i was in the shower, It was pitch black - very scary. The light is on a timer, not long enough! it happened to my husband too!! Door fell of the fridge. The guy came and wedged it back on so hopefully its been fixed or replaced now.

Pros-stylish hotel with great bar and dining areas. The breakfast is really outstanding, never seen such choice and quality. Room spotless-comfy beds, choice of pillows. Spacious with twin beds , desk and sofa. Great quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, razor, shaving gel, sewing kit, toothbrush, toothpaste). Bathrobes and slippers in room. All staff very friendly. Had a late flight and hotel provided a courtesy room to shower. Views from pool Terrace are great, overlooking the marina. You can walk into the centre in about 15 minutes or buses stop 100 m from hotel. Number 1 bus direct from airport (5 euros) or taxi about 20 euros. Cons- paid for city view room-view was of some tatty apartments. Asked at reception for proper city view (i.e. View to Palma cathedral etc) was told no. Only other gripe was not enough sunbeds but the lifeguards were great at moving towels when people 'saved' beds so always got one. Pool towels provided. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at the Bahia de Palma was great. The hotel was a lovely contemporary clean hotel. The staff in particular were great and couldn’t do enough to help. There are a few small changes we felt as a group would have added to our stay. Firstly, tea and coffee in the rooms would of been nice for the mornings where we wanted to sit on the balcony with a coffee before going for breakfast. Also on one day we tried to reserve sunbeds as we had seen the majority of other guests do so. However we came back to fine that our stuff had been moved and a note saying that sunbeds couldn’t be reserved. We would of been fine with this if there wasn’t 30 or so other beds also reserved. It felt inconsistent and there should be one rule for all. Tiny tiny things on a otherwise lovely hotel but just something to consider.

It was super-nice and unforgettable hotel~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed this hotel 1day last week. After I arrived by rental car, I ask something unpleasant to Hotel front office staff. about Parking lot. This hotel have parking lot, but fee is charged. When I hasitated because of parking fee 20?30? euro, bellman came to me very carefully with smile and told me about free parking lot. I have not seen this kind of service mind... As I am also hotelior, I was totally fasinated. From that time, I had question about this hotel. considerate help, eye-contact, service, touch of staffs make us happy. All of circumstances and facilities were perfect and nice~!!! Moreover hotel prepared honeymoon event for us. room service. (Sparkling wine of Spain, dessert of strawberry) It was too luxury and awesome!!! It seems like dream~~~!!! I really recommand this hotel~!!! really~!!! I promised to my wife to come back 10years later~!!!^^ But I don't know... 5years...or 3years... next year!^^*

The place was absolutely awesome! It was gorgeous, the staff were absolutely wonderful, the service couldn't be faulted, and the food and drink was top notch. The only comment that I have that might be construed as the least bit negative is regarding the hotel's location: if you exit the hotel on one side you're on the marina, which is gorgeous and has tons of places to eat and drink, plus you've got a view which is the sort for which one comes to Mallorca. However, if you exit the hotel on the other side, you're in lower middle-class Spain - which is perfectly safe and fine – but then it' a solid 20 minute walk to the old city and downtown, which are the scenic & fun parts of town. One positive note to this, however, is that the hotel is only a 10 minute walk to Castle Bellver, which is situated on a hill near the hotel and definitely worth seeing. Overall, I loved the place, and I would highly recommend it to anybody, it's just a question of where you want to be.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly and could not do enough. Our room was of a very high standard and was always kept exceptionally clean, the provision of a fridge in the room was an added bonus. The location is extremely central, a few minutes from beach, pubs, restaurants and shops. The airport bus from the airport is very convenient for five euro you are dropped outside the door, get off at the Hotel LInda stop or the next stop which is outside the Hotel Balear. It only takes approx. five to ten minutes. A great pub to visit is the Manchester Pub which is directly across the road from KFC. Darren , Tracey and their Dad run a really good bar. We are Irish and felt totally at home, as did every other nationality. Thanks Lads. The drink is also very reasonably priced. Can Pastillas is a very beautiful area and is ideal if you wish to visit Palma as it is only twenty minutes on the bus and only costs €1.50 each way. If I were to visit Can Pastillas again certainly would stay at the Hotel Balear.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel for the following reasons: - large hotel with a connection with the sister hotel Melia South Beach.. so you get access to 5 different swimming pools and in between is Nikki beach (you can enjoy the music from your hotel) - Fully equipped gym - Directly on the beach unlike other hotels where you need to walk long distances - You can walk through Magaluf through the shortcut seaside walk -Excellent selections of food for breakfast and dinner and are freshly prepared - Clean rooms with a great balcony - Surely recommend as the best hotel in Magaluf and I would definitely be visiting again! Downsides- - The buffet dishes finish quickly and unfortunately they replace the dishes with something else not as good as the first (eg.they replaced the finished fried calamaris with vegetables).. So I would recommend to go to the buffet as soon as it starts! - The plates and cups should be cleaned better - More staff to serve the tables during the buffet - They should add a lock to the bathrooms in the room! - I would recommend the hotel to play light and soft DJ music at night in a closed ballroom to entertain the guests at night - Add water to the dinner buffet

My stay was very mixed. The staff are great, informative and really helpful and allowed us to check in early. They helped us on a number of occasions find directions and stored our bags when we went away. Where this hotel really let me down is in 2 places. First WIFI. For a hotel advertising WIFI and charging as much as this hotel I would expect they would get it right. The WIFI was very on and off making it impossible to load pages 80% of the time. If WIFI is important to you for work when you stay here then I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The room was not 100% clean when we got into it. I would expect more again from a hotel charging as much. There was hair on the toilet seat when we got to the room as well as around the bathroom. Not the warmest of welcomes. All things considered the staff were a real positive for our stay here the hotel could do better though.

Room. One of the few On the ground floor, was next to the bar. Gas bottles and barrels were thrown around until midnight. Complained twice. We were offered another room but the alternative was smaller. Location. Was good. They had bike storage🙂. Place is kept clean. Pool was good. Didn’t use spa. Gym was poor. Staff. Reception were excellent. Dining room was overstretched. And it was quite crowded. Food. Breakfast was fine. Dinner. Some nights good. But Mexican and Chinese nights were poor. I could find something to eat each night but only on a few occasions did I think ‘Yum!’ The draught wine was for the desperate in my view. The beer was fine. It’s a good place for a cycling group and does the job, but Is let down by noise, which was limited to my location in the hotel, and the food. The reception staff were lovely.
