"We stayed one night at le bamboo guest house and we truly enjoyed it. The room was clean, wifi and air conditioning were available. The owners made the difference! We got introduced to the local lifestyle and enjoyed a beautiful dinner in their living room! When you stay there, make sure you'll join them for dinner which is an absolutely delicious and local meal! They helped us with all our questions about Mauritius and how to get around. The husband also organizes tours by himself to show you the best of the island. Thank you very much and until next time! Miguel and Christian "

"Please keep in mind, by Oct/19, Mauritius didn't have an organized taxi hailing service, no uber or any other such companies operate in Mauritius. that make it very difficult to move around in Mauritius. the Hotel is located about 16km out of capital city and two km away from cybercity. I had to take busses to both places due to lack of taxi services and those you find also ask exorbitant rates, a Mauritian lady specifically warned me of taxi drivers trying to charge very high amounts from visitors. If you are visiting on business, better to look for a place close to the business venue, In my case it was the issue I had. The Plams hotel itself had some pros and cons. rooms are spacious and clean. however only basic amenities were available. the Breakfast was so basic, I only had two options and fruit served was not even fresh. I wish I can post some pictures here of the breakfast table."

"We have stayed in hotels all over the world and Heratige Le Telfair has been the best by far. The staff were exceptional and provided service you could only dream of. The hotel had a colonial feel to it, the rooms were large and immaculately clean and the grounds tropically lush. With a choice of many restaurants providing good and varied food there is no need to go off site unless you really wanted to. It is not a stay at Le Telfair, it is an experience of pure luxury and service. We will never stay anywhere else in Mauritius."
