"The Hotel is located quite close to Masjid Nabwi. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from Gate No.7 of Masjid Nabwi. The Front Desk Staff, the Bell Boy and House Keeping Staff all were very polite, courteous & helpful. The room though was a bit small, but well furnished and very clean with clean beds, clean sheets. The bathroom also was neat and clean with very clean towels and well stocked with shampoo & soaps. Electric Kettle was there in room with a lot of teabags, sugar pouches and milk powder pouches. Filtered Drinking water Dispenser was located in the Corridors, so no problem of buying your own drinking water bottles. One day, I was having trouble using my key card to open my Room Door. I went downstairs to inform the Front Desk. The Man there immediately came up with me to my room and helped me out.. Overall a nice experience staying in the Hotel."

"hotel is sooo close to the haram.however, since the hotel is located on the southern side of the haram, you cannot pray in the yard (you are directing the qibla to the south, and you become infront of the imam) , so you either go in the mosque or around it (for women, you need to go around since there is no door on that side). another thing was the lack of services in that area(we could hardly find a restaurant, bus stations are all on the northern side of the haram). however. the hotel itself was super clean, super modern. the area its located on is very quiet. staff were super friendly.breakfast had a big veriety. bathroom was from another era, it had computerised water system where you could change the temp. or force according to your prefrence. there was something i have never seen in any other hotel which was a foot washing area.i should mention we stayed for only one night, and we prayed all our prayers in the haram. there couldbe some restaurants around but we couldnot find"

"This is one of the many times i have stayed in this hotel during my visit to HOLY CITY MEDINA. I just love the hotel facilities as well as the location is too good. Its Just walk from the mosque gate. When you stay try to stay in lower floors its gonna help you catch the lift faster as there is a rush during prayer time. Though they have like 8+ lifts running 24 hours at your service. The room service food is also good if you are hungry at night. The breakfast menu is wide range but for Asian its a bit like limited choices. For European standard its awesome. The Hotel itself is situated above market place. Its just my favorite place to stay always during my trip to HOLY CITY MEDINA for last couple of years time."

More about Medina

Discover the Spiritual Heart of Medina

Medina, known as the City of the Prophet, holds a unique place in the hearts of Muslims around the globe. It is the second holiest city in Islam, following Mecca, and serves as a pivotal destination for millions of pilgrims each year. The city's significance is deeply rooted in its rich history and religious heritage, making it a must-visit for those seeking spiritual fulfillment and cultural enrichment. At the core of Medina's spiritual allure is Al Masjid an Nabawi, the Prophet's Mosque, which is not only a stunning architectural marvel but also a sacred site where prayers are answered and peace is found.

Al Masjid an Nabawi is renowned for its beautiful green dome, which marks the resting place of the Prophet Muhammad. Visitors are often captivated by the mosque's grandeur and the serene atmosphere that envelops it. The mosque can accommodate over a million worshippers, making it a central hub during pilgrimage seasons, especially during Hajj and Umrah. The experience of praying in this sacred space is profound, offering a sense of connection to the Islamic faith that resonates with visitors from all walks of life. As you explore Medina, take time to reflect in the mosque’s tranquil courtyards and immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance that defines this ancient city.

Beyond the mosque, Medina is dotted with various historical and cultural sites that further enhance its spiritual significance. The Quba Mosque, the first mosque built in Islam, is located just outside the city and is a popular destination for visitors wanting to deepen their understanding of Islamic history. Another notable site is the Grave of Hamzah, the Prophet's uncle, which stands as a testament to the sacrifices made during the early days of Islam. Each of these sites offers unique insights into the life of the Prophet and the early Muslim community, making Medina an essential stop for anyone interested in the history and teachings of Islam.

When to Experience the Magic of Medina

Timing your visit to Medina can greatly enhance your experience. The best time to explore this sacred city is during the cooler months, typically from October to March. During this period, the weather is mild, making it comfortable for outdoor activities and visits to historical sites. The average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F), allowing for pleasant strolls around the city, especially in the evenings when the atmosphere becomes even more enchanting.

For those planning to participate in religious observances, be mindful of the peak pilgrimage seasons, particularly during Ramadan and the Hajj season. These months see an influx of visitors, which can lead to crowded spaces at popular sites like Al Masjid an Nabawi. However, experiencing Medina during Ramadan offers a unique opportunity to witness the city's vibrant cultural traditions, such as nightly prayers and communal iftar meals. Make sure to book accommodations well in advance if traveling during these peak periods to secure your stay in the heart of the city.

Local events, such as the annual Medina Date Festival, also add another layer of excitement to your visit. Typically held in the summer, this festival showcases the region's rich agricultural heritage and offers visitors a chance to taste a variety of dates and other local delicacies. Engaging in such events not only enhances your cultural experience but also allows for interactions with locals, providing a deeper understanding of Medina's traditions and community spirit.
