Quick facts about Mykonos
Mykonos is an Aegean island defined by whitewashed architecture, iconic windmills, diverse beaches, and a year-round cultural calendar. Agoda aggregates accommodations from budget hotels to luxury villas and highlights shoulder-season bookings to reduce costs and crowding.
Key Points
- Little Venice, the windmills, and Delos are primary cultural and photographic attractions.
- Peak season runs late June–early September, driving higher prices and intensified nightlife.
- Shoulder-season travel reduces crowds and often yields lower accommodation rates, enabling extended exploration of beaches and museums.
- Search platforms like Agoda list last-minute deals, family suites, and villa rentals across Mykonos.
- Family-friendly beaches such as Ornos and Platis Gialos offer calm waters and nearby hotels with pools.
- Nightlife centers and beach clubs, especially around Psarou and Mykonos Town, drive peak-season demand.
- Wellness retreats, hiking trails, and yacht cruises diversify the island's appeal beyond party tourism.

Mykonos hotels & accommodations

What a fabulous week I had in Mykonos & San Antonio Summerland Hotel helped! Not too far from the airport & just out of the old port of Mykonos, San Antonio hotel is a great place for singles/couples or families. The staff are accomodating, helpful, attentive & beautiful (inside & out)! The bus service to & from the front door of the hotel was great. A good workout ...

Needed a one night stop over on Mykonos. Found this lovely hotel at a reasonable rate (for Mykonos!) They arranged transfers from port & to airport next day (ok, €12 euros pp each way) but the taxi situation on the island is stretched. Welcome drink on arrival, amazing staff all around the hotel, especially Irene on reception. Huge room, could sleep up to 6 if needed! ...

The hotel is perched up on a high hill near elia beach and has extremely beautiful views. The hotel itself is very well kept, clean, very friendly staff and has a great cozy bar and restaurant. Ideally you should rent a car as the hotel is tucked away on a beautiful but far side of mykonos. But that should not stop you from staying here as in my opinion, it's one of th...

My partner and I were staying in Mykonos for 4 nights and this hotel was great. It was in a fantastic location close to the main town. When we checked in we were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful & informative. They explained the best beaches to visit & what were the must-see's while we were in Mykonos. The breakfast daily was really good as there was alo...

these guys were great from my girlfriend and i walking into the hotel the man on the desk took our bags to our room, (which he promptly upgraded because they had one free) then helped show us where the closest things were that we wanted to do, gave us maps! my friend was sick on the first night so they helped us get delivery food from a restaurant for me!! in the morn...

Location The hotel is location in Ornos area of Mykonos right in front of the beach. On a windy day you will have the treat of seeing wind surfers on the waves. One quick bus ride to town (station is 5 min walk) Hotel Very clean, with parking and beautiful pool with a view. Our room was a suite and it has a great view of the pool and the beach and the room itself was v...

On our arrival for our honeymoon, we were greeted at the airport and some champagne upon arrival at the hotel. Rooms weren't ready so we chilled at the pool area and the view will absolutely melt your partner's heart. Transportation can be rented and arranged via the reception. Go see yourself and see whether they deserve to retain their #2 hotel in Mykonos. The only ...

porto mykonos hotel located in a centralized area and walking distance to mykonos town or chora. you can easily walk to the town and explore from point to point of the city. the guest service experience we had also very satisfying. breakfast was good. but rooms are too small and the bathroom is not very nice. bed and pillows are terrible, we can feel the spiral in th...

I took a taxi from the port to the hotel, however the hotel was located as such that the taxi couldn't drop me in front of the hotel. I had a big bag and remembered the walk was long from the main road to the hotel. However, the location of the hotel is great because it's in the center of Mykonos town close to every place you would want to visit. I thought the room was...

From the moment we arrived in Mykonos, the staff at Branco Mykonos went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel welcome. My husband and I loved having the option of relaxing on the beach~ toes in the sand or poolside(whichever we desired). The food and beverages were amazing as well. I highly recommend Branco Mykonos to anyone who wants to experience a tast...

We had a lovely time in this hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. They explained how to get to the city, what to visit and all the information what you possibly need. The water bus stopped just outside the hotel which is big plus to get to Mykonos. Hotel is located by the port in nice quiet street with big swimming pool and lovely restaurant. Our room was very p...

From the time the driver picked us up from the airport, service was impeccable. Each and every staff member offered to go above and beyond to meet our needs even though I declined sometimes (I don't need coffee delivered to my room...I can get it myself). Location is a short walk to town. The food and cocktails are surprisingly delicious and prices are high..but fa...

The hotel was beautiful and secluded. You will need to hire a car or bike to get around however due to their location, we were able to enjoy the hotel without a crowd of tourists. It was peaceful and relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel rooms offer lots of privacy and feels like you have your own villa.

The hotel was located wrongly on google map and it took us quite some time to find the exact location and get to the hotel. The hotel is on a slope overlooking the town of Mykonos and the view is superb. The hotel rooms are clean and cozy and there is also a nice pool in the hotel. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed Zannis Hotel very much.

As Mykonos hotels go, this was quite a good deal, though it's basically an old house renovated to a hotel. Mykonos hotels are generally small and so is this. Shower area is tight and doesn't have a full enclosure, wetting the entire bathroom, hence their cleaning efforts were very good.

We loved everything about this place. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Take time to sit with you recommend where to go and how to get there. We even got our laundry done the same day (which they send out) for a very low price which when you are traveling is one of the best things. It’s fully newly renovated and the rooms and facilities are pristine ...

The location was great, it was on Ornos beach, which is the closest main beach to town. We had the option of the private or public beach area and an amazing pool. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. We had a very large room, and a balcony with a beautiful view.

Pool access has been removed. You check in at hotel thalassa next door who have an amazing pool, and you have breakfast at their restaurant, and use their wifi. Yet you can't use the pool anymore. Access was removed 10 days before we booked (whilst we were researching) which is very unfair and we were very upset by this. Management and Agoda both would not allow pool ...

Dear Princess Mykonos hotel, We would like to take this opportunity to thanks your staff including drivers for their professionalism and friendliness. Cheap places to stay in Mykonos

The Owner Lia was very accommodating and helpful, She picks her guest up from the airport or the port but do provide her with the vessel name or flight no. if not she would have a difficult time figuring out which location to pick you up from. She even brought us around for a short tour to brief us on different tourist spot, dining locations and even brief history of ...

the room is clean and worth of this value with the sea view. only walking distance to the beach and supermarket but you should try the foods in the restaurant, really nice. special thanks for the host, kindness and always trying to help you for any required.

We booked 4 nights and requested a double room. When we arrived we were placed in a room with 2 single beds, and we were unable to switch rooms as the hotel was full. The staff at the hotel were able to move us to a double room after 2 nights but it seems that they give preference to people who have booked directly through the hotel. The staff advised us that whilst we...

This hotel was a great place to stay in terms of location. It is right on the beach and literally sits behind the row of restaurants and cafes. Having said this, it is not too busy or noisy at night. The rooms however, are quite simple and the wifi barely works. We were very lucky to have a friend who spoke Greek to translate for us as the owner is not too friendly to ...

I have a wonderful stay. Yanna is very kind and helpful. The room is clean. And it's quite spacious. Has hair dryer (important for the ladies!), safe box, and mini frige. The location is only 21mins to the city center of mykonos (on foot). Swimming pool is facing the sea. Too bad i cant enjoy it.. Overall, it's a pleasant stay. Will recommend this place to friends. ...

The studio that we had ( 4 people studio) is very big and spacious and veryyy clean with everything you need and by that i mean a full equipped kitchen big balcony area big bathroom and once again very clean ( everyday was cleaning the studio even if we were leaving the room always after 13-no disturbing at all) very good internet connection AC TV also with USB conne...

This place was more beautiful than I had imagined. The place where we were staying was lovely and it even included a kitchen. That gave it a very homey vibe. But the view was even more stunning, as soon as you opened the door there was this gorgeous view of the Kalafatis Beach which is the best beach for a family in Mykonos. If you are going to Mykonos I definitely reco...

The place was great itself. Self contained and had everything you needed. The only thing I would say that the location is a bit out of the way and there are only 2 restaurants and the only supermarket is a 20 min walk away. There is a bus service but it is very irregular.

We rent the Junior room and the jacuzzi works only with cold water, there were no bed lamps, a curtain was broken as well as the details of the mirror decoration in the toilet. Everything looked old and in bad estate. There were no Internet Service because there were problems with the service in Athens. We stayed 3 days without internet and they didn’t provided a so...

Mr Gianni's was extremely helpful. We had our luggage delayed and he brought us to the airport to enquire. He collected our baggage with no extra charge. The hotel was clean and well presented and we could walk to the old port easily. I would like to stay there again.

I can’t rate this establishment higher! From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were treated like family! Everything was spot on! The staff were always courteous, understanding and extremely helpful! The location is breathtaking!!! We had a family room literally on the beach! We just stepped off our patio onto the beach and into the cool aqua blue aegean sea...

I had a wonderful stay at the Fresh Hotel. The location was superb, in the alley of the labyrinth of the Mykonos town centre. Near to restaurants as well as shopping areas from nik-naks to the upmarket boutiques. In overall, the hotel was good. Its location makes it the best choice to stay at Mykonos Island. Its near everything, restaurants, shops, beaches, port to nearby island, Delos, bus stop and etc. The room condition was great, very clean and comfortable and even equipped with kitchen. A beautiful scenery at hotel’s swimming pool. Hotel’s staff were kind, helpful and frie...

I primarily booked this hotel for the views, and wow, it didn’t disappoint! They’re truly amazing (the Villa’s reception has virtually 180° panoramic views – so quite a remarkable office to work from!). All villas have outdoor terraces, and from some you can also enjoy these remarkable views. The villas are spacious, spotlessly clean, and ours had a freshly refurbis...

The stay at Villa Thea was amazing. My friend and I had a wonderful time in our 3 bedroom villa. Sam was very accommodating of us and always organised a transfer for us when we needed it. The villa itself was beautiful and better than expected and the pool and bar area was done beautifully. The town is only a short 10 minute walk from the accommodation which includes a...

This place was the right choice, great value for money, perfect location (3 minute walk to the beach and public bus top), a very spacious apartment, the house keeping service always kept the place spotless and above all, the owners are just wonderful (we came back to freshly baked orange cake - which tasted delicious!).

This hotel is an excellent value, thanks to one of the most generous breakfast spreads I've come across in Greece, and for the facilities offered. When we arrived early at the port in Mykonos and phoned the A Hotel, they offered to send their driver to pick us up. Though our room was not ready right away (we were 3 hours early for check-in), we were invited to leave ...

Very good location: near town (one can go by feet), near bus station, also rent-a-car (motor). Really nice stuff and excellent owners who care for their guests, but are in no way intrusive. They're also a "tourist agency", which means one can ask the hotel staff whatever suggestion for day trips, restaurants etc. Fresh food. Very clean. Excellent swimming pool. Relaxed...

Amazing! The views are perfect and the room was beautiful. He gave us a free bottle of wine and was helpful in anything we needed. Helped us rent a car for a discounted price which was very nice. Location was a little far but it is right next to a gorgeous gorgeous beach with two very nice beach clubs. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly located and absolutely gorgeous, Villa Del Sol is a wonderful accommodation. The staff is so friendly and was very helpful in arranging plans while on the island. We called for a transfer a day before and it was mess up on arrival and even worst on departure. breakfast is not great dry and not fresh No cumunication between receptionist and on the website it say we can have towel for the beach but unfortunately at the staff at the pool they say we can’t take them out. I had a one night stay here and it was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful indeed and the room was large, clean and bright and the bed pretty comfortable. The Hotel is located in a quiet area which 10 minutes from Mykonos Town by foot. The white-washed hotel makes a beautiful picture under the clear Greek sky and surrounded by the deep blue sea. We opted for shuttle service from port to resort and was welcomed by a really great guy who offered us water after a long ride and introduce us nice cafe along the way. This is something worth praising as not all hotels offer such service to their custome...

Hotel was absolutely perfect. Staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. They helped with everything we needed and set up tour for us. Breakfast was delicious and options were great. Location is absolutely perfect and ocean view rooms are gorgeous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location was a bit a bit secluded which could be a positive thing. Unfortunately, I was more interested in being closer to the action. 15 minutes from Mykonos town and 25 minutes from the desired beach clubs. It's really just a matter of preference. The hotel is also located on the windy side of the island which impacted the beach and pool activities.

The hotel is 15 minutes from the Mykonos town by walking. It's really nice to take a little walk down the road and go to Mykonos town and have dinner by the shore and watch sunset. Be prepared that there will be big tourist crowd during sunset/dinner time. If want to go to the paradise beach, need to go to the town first, then take a bus to the beach.

+ Location at Psarou Beach + Amazing staff and hospitality + Excellent Housekeeping + Kind and always happy reception and guest services staff + Hourly evening Shuttles to Mykonos Town + Nice Reception and dinning areas +/- Greek themed breakfast in Sundays was amazing but remaining days it was ok - Small and single way parking - Lack of security (There was an argument...

This is really stylish and well considered accommodation . Lovely private rooms which are sympathetically decorated . The pool area is fantastic with again great attention to detail . The room we booked had a fridge and coffee maker which was useful as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant . This isn’t an issue as Ano Mera square is about a 10 min walk where there is a g...

My partner and I travelled to Mykonos, staying 4 nights at Grace Mykonos and could not have been any happier with our stay. ok that all hotels at mykonos are expensive but given the price paid for the one with outside jacuzzi, it is reasonable to have some appropriate expectation. the worst is we are not animal lovers. even i dont hate cats, cats are all around. we have the jacuzzi then of course we want to use it. a cat has been nearby all the time and was unfriendly to us as if we o...

This is a very nice hotel. What I like the most is only 10 mins walk you will arrive a beach. Although Mykonos is famous by the Paradise and Super Paradise beach but this one is nice and close to the hotel. Not to crowed. Hotel breakfast is tasty with lots of choice, comfortable seating. Very relaxing swimming pool with nice sunbathing seats. I really like ...

The service was unbelievable. Everyone in this hotel was so friendly and would do anything to help you. The rooms were spacious. And super clean. Food was wonderful. I can't recommended enough. We will be back. Location was the best with its own private beach area. It's much nicer then staying in the town area.

Quiet little boutique hotel, beautiful rooms, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Assisted in hiring a quad delivered to the hotel and returned to the airport at favorable terms. Real reviews for hotels
There are good restaurants with delicious sea food. There are also beautiful beach and good sight-seen for sunset from little venice and windmills of Kato Milli.
Mykonos is a beautiful city. The street and surrounding is very artful. Many shops are standing side by side in small isles.
1. Delos is a must to visit. 2. Flies are everywhere in the restaurant which make us very uncomfortable.
Mykonos is not really a place for solo traveler and family. For couple, the romantic atmosphere is perhaps priceless, but for all those who are not affected by it, everything there seems overpriced.
Mykonos city is a lovely coastal city with many restaurants, shops and beautiful scenery. Little Venice is particulary charming with the sea front restaurants and bars, and the great view of the wind mills.
We visited during end Sept/early Oct and it was the end of the travel season. The place was still packed with tourist and I guess during the summer, it would be even more crowded.
