Port Dickson hotels & places to stay

Although the room is small but is enough for a husband, wife & kid and is probably the best choice in budget; the rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly; however the wifi was weak and if you do not have car/own transport, then getting around (nearest beach is not in walking distance) is quite a big problem (no local transportation is there and taxis are rare); while returning from beach in the evening we waited very long for a taxi (on the main beach road) & finally got lift in a police car; but if you have own transport then maybe Suria is the best budget hotel to stay in Port Dickson.

as a budget hotel, it serves its purpose well. here's why: 1. price: reasonable, for the quality and service it offers. with an extra rm5, our room was upgraded to one with a sea view. awesome! 2. room: modest facilities, but quite comfortable and clean. please keep in mind it is a budget hotel. so, please don't expect it to be a 5-star experience. 3. location: quite strategic. away from the busy main road yet it is just a 5-minute drive to port dickson town - where you can find atm machines, fast food (24-hour mcd, kfc), cafes and shopping marts. plus, it is not a beach side hotel (honestly, i can't understand why a lot of people think it is). so, please don't imagine yourself running to beach and jump into the water ok? 4. food: heaven for seafood lovers. within a 10-minute drive radius, seafood restaurants are plentiful. if you don't have a car or are too lazy to drive one, don't fret. there is a chinese seafood restaurant within walking distance. and if you are too lazy to even walk, a steamboat place and a grocery shop are just beside the hotel. 5. service: friendly (especially the nice indian lady at the reception - sorry i forgot her name) and helpful (they helped us find the best indian food restaurant in town!). overall experience: awesome!(for the price you are paying). definitely worth a try. oh, did i forget to tell you? since we stayed there on the new year's eve night, we got the chance to see lots of fireworks displays around the beaches in pd...all right in the comfort of our room. coolness.

Would consider this hotel to be the best in its class at Port Dickson. Only suggestion is to increase the number of clothes hangers in the room. Otherwise, the basic amenities are quite complete. Walking distance to a 7-11 convenience store. Staff are friendly with smooth check in and check out. Found the aircon vent in my room to be dirty during check in. Informed the reception staff and he attended to it personally and promptly. The hotel is located further away from the beaches, and you will need transportation there.

This Clover Hotel is nearest to Papparich, McD, Starbucks, Dominos even Pizza Hut just beside this hotel. I love to stay here because got all these restaurants, however, it's not near to beach. Just near to sea or lagoon not beach. You need to drive about 10 minutes you will see Port Dickson Beach. For hotel, my kettle had problem which is the steel inside already rusted. Overall, just nice to bring my baby to here with the cheap rental of hotel.

The hotel is quite nice and easily found after going on a straight road to port dickson. Easily found, the room is nice enough, have tv, nice toilet and settings for a budget hotel. The toilet is especially loved. Convenient store ght beside, quite big actually, and actually quite a lot of malay food nearby too. Perhaps 5 mins walk to a 7-11 also. But having a funfair right opposite the hotel is a little noisy. Overall its a pleasant stay.

pros: - near teluk kemang beach -beside 7eleven -beside dobi - perfect restaurant at mahsyur restaurant (cheap) - clean room but bed so sandy - beside bank muamalat -.so many petrol pum nearby cons: - got 3 staff, one of it i believed she is senior so her attitude so bitchy with sour face. even i asked bout nearest beach she is refused to answer - although paid fully but still hv to place deposit which is they should inform earlier

Previously I had booked standard room from Agoda. Upon arrival for check in, we saw the ad for the king superior room with personal Jacuzzi. We upgraded from the standard to the superior king. The Jacuzzi is perfect for us family with young children. It was very pleasant and value for money. The staff were great and the breakfast was ok. However, kindly improve the hot water for shower and Jacuzzi otherwise it will be a perfect stay for us. Definitely will be coming back for next trip to Port Dickson.

This is one hotel I would recommend out to anybody visiting Port Dickson. It is kind of attached to the CORAS resorts and while some parts of it is still undergoing some renovation, we had very pleasant rooms. My friends and I stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which came with a neat and cosy living room, complete with a mini pantry and dining table. But what we liked the best was the balcony with its amazing view of the beach. Car park alone is usually full and could be a problem at times.

it was realy awesome moments to spent our holiday with maya apartment.The apartment superb clean and the conditions also super good. all the equipments was there too for us to cook.we only have to pay extra rm 30 for the stove.so far i have enjoyed my holiday and i have maximum satisfy with the service they has given to me.if i ever got chance to go port dickson,definetly i will book this maya holiday.

Going to Port Dickson was a very unplanned trip as I was scouting for locations at the very last minute (a week before the actual day). I later saw Naam Boutique Lodge have last room offer and I was quite skeptical as I have never been that part of the breach in PD. After a quick glance of review, I went ahead with the booking. I bargained more than what I expected. The location was really great, 2 mins away from the beach front and with a row of food to choose by the beach. next best thing is it was raining on Saturday ( 29th Oct) and there is no need for AC to rest in the room or any part of the lodge. Friendly staff too and have great parking location for someone who have high OCD on taking care of their ride. I couldn't ask for more on what has to offer. Only down side is that the room bathroom lacks of an exhaust fan to keep the moist away hence it cause the moist to trap within and promotes a "wet" stench. I will definitely come again to this great staying place!

We booked this hotel(if that what you want to call it) last minute as we finally decided to go to Port Dickson for a family gathering. Our families consist of my wife and I with 2 children aged 11 and 5, my brothers with their wives and 2 daughters and my parents. On arrival, the hotel is very hard to miss as it is painted with bright colours, almost like a kindegarten. The hotel comprises of a row of terrace house so it is actually a house, not a proper hotel. There were 2 options to choose from whether Type A with 3 air-conditioned rooms and 2 rooms with a ceiling fan(middle unit) or Type B with 5 air-conditioned rooms(corner unit). We choose the latter for our stay. The unit itself is spacious, with living room and kitchen although no cooking is allowed but they did provide microwave which is a nice touch. There is one room on the ground floor and 4 rooms on the first floor. Each room have access to toilet although the upper unit means that 2 rooms is sharing one toilet. The air-conditioned is not too cold maybe due to the massive size of the room. There is a balcony which connected at the front of master bedroom with the next smaller room. The white sandy beach is just across the road but I would advise to go there by car as the road is quite busy at times. Overall, it is a basic hotel with basic amenities. For us, it was a perfect point for a small family gathering. I would recommend it to anyone with a big family who are looking to have a whale of a time in Port Dickson.

We were given room in ground floor (G13 to be exact), im not kind of fussy guest, and i do realise it wasn't 5 stars hotel. But the toilet was smelly! Floor and wall - even if its an old building, but the stains on it, doesnt look like its ever been scrubbed. The best part, u can even smell the cockcroach too at the shower area..so u will not dare to stay long in the bathroom and become very cautious too..just in case u have 'little visitor' crawling on your foot. There was unwashed bowl on the toilet cistern too..with used candle.not sure for what. Environment is very nice, with the beach just about 3 mins walk from our room. Sufficient parking space.Good place for BBQ. But i'm not sure if the water is clean enough for mandi..there are big drain discharge water directly to that beach.me and my daughter's skin itch 10mins after dipping into the water..but not to my husband.so maybe depends on your skin sensitivity lah.. Breakfast - despite of not so many choices, but tasty!👍

Initially I wasn't expecting much from Waterfront Boutique Hotel, but I was really surprised when i reached the place and was very pleased after my stay. Here's why: It is strategically located near the town centre and the Port Dickson Bus Terminal, thus walking to the hotel was not a problem at all. The hotel itself was decorated in beautiful designs and the ambient was soothing and welcoming, giving a tinge of a luxurious feel. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient, with a good command of language. The room was pretty clean, though there were some minor details such as ants and toilet seat not cleaned properly, but overall it was very comfortable with a warm cozy feel to it. The bathroom/toilet was surprisingly pretty spacious and well designed. Once you step out of the hotel, there is a nice view of the sea to the right with paved pathways already set and you could go down into the water too. All around the area are many eateries and shops to choose from, so dining and shopping are a breeze. All in all, my stay at Waterfront Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant and delightful one. I certainly would recommend this place given all its features and price and hope to return there next time i visit Port Dickson.

Located at the Port Dickson Waterfront area which has TF Value Mart, McDonalds, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza & Pak Hai Lam Kopitiam within walking distance. We had a room(grand family suite) with seaview, spacious room & balcony, free wifi. Nearest parking is at the roadside opposite of the hotel, could be hard to look for parking if you back to hotel late at the Saturday night. Hotel is located at the 2nd floor with only staircase to access(no lift), so carrying a heavy luggage might be a problem.

The property view is beautiful. Can see water chalet and the sea. Room is big with 2 queen bed. We have check in on 19/1/19 room no 908 its 4 of us. At first we are so happy and excited. Unfortunately, once enter the room we on the aircond its not function, got problem. Call the owner and he sent 2 technician to repair. But still cant repair. Compressor problem technician said. Then owner gave us 2 fan. I table small fan and the other 1 is stand fan. But the small fan blow so slow and seem no use. A lot of dusty came out when we on the fan. Since the room is nearby the sea and the weather is extremely hot, so all of us cant stand and we decided to move out and go home. We are so frustrated and the owner just say sorry and since this is a promotion room (we book under agoda) he said no changing room or discount. So sad and dissapointed. Will not come again.

we stayed for 2D1N. this hotel located just very close to Port Dickson town. very quiet place, considered as beachfront hotel, but I think not suitable for swimming, the beach also few step from pool. airconditing sound too loud. mattress in the room is not clean, full with debris. car park is everywhere since you can park nearby main entrance. hope they can take note.

We were travelling on motorcycles and were coming in from Thailand, therefore we arrived past 1am at the resort to check-in. This would be my fourth visit at the hotel. I always choose to stay at the Eagle Ranch in Port Dickson due to secure parking, good rooms and breakfast. The hotel reception was fantastically efficient and also very accommodating. The themed rooms are somewhat dated and pretty basic but the room is clean and has a good shower. Thank you for making our pit-stop for the night a restful one! We will be back!

Location- very easy to find. Just opposite Port Dickson beach. Walking distance to KFC and other food stalls/ restaurants Staffers- friendly and helpful. 5 stars Room (4 people)- room is spacious and clean, the bathroom/toilet is very small, obese people will have difficulties to shower, but for normal/average size people, just nice. Aircond, TV and hot shower are in good conditions. Swimming Pool- small but just nice. At least they have pool 😊 Breakfast- The best. Variety of food and taste delicious. Overall, I am really happy and satisfied with Hotel Seri Malaysia PD.

My family always opt for this place every time we are visiting port Dickson. Being in a family of 7 adults and 2 kids, we really do need a room for privacy without sacrificing the time to be together. Thus having a house with a reasonable size of living room, 2 bedroom and bathroom is very suitable for us. Cleanliness of the apartment can be improved (when we 1st check in, the floor and furniture is kinda dusty). As for the facilities and the staff, I noticed that it keeps on improving. They have a big deep pool and staff are friendly. Definitely will come again.

A good option to stay in Port Dickson as the hotel is Syariah compliant - meaning its family friendly & quiet (there is a wall with a waterfall separating the male and female swimming pools). Rooms are clean and big enough for two but they don't provide enough soaps/toiletries etc (I am sure you can ask for more). Breakfast had plenty of options (mostly Malay food though) but some of the bread was stale and the fruit not ripe - not sure why they still left it out (I also thought the Nestea from the coffee/tea machine had a funny taste like the milk was bad). Finally, they leave a newspaper on your door in the morning...
