We came to Ramada on the Sunshine coast for a suprise birthday weekend for my mums 60th! The staff were brilliant, they went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was memorable. I had ordered balloons that got deliered before we arrived, so they set them up in our room ready for us. Upon checking in they asked for my mothers name (who arrived later for the suprise) ju...

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment but at the last minute extra family wanted to join so I emailed the hotel and they were able to upgrade us to a 3 bedroom for a minimal extra cost paid direct to the hotel. the hotel was a very short walk over the road and along a 100m alley to the beach. Unfortunately the weather was rainy most of 4 day stay but the games room kept th...

Highly recommend Seamark. Great location, unit had one of the best equipped kitchens of any unit I've stayed in. With four children the unit was set out well and very easy to walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Kids were never bored with loads to do. Will be returning next year.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Rumba. We decided recently to have a short side-trip up to the Sunshine Coast while we were staying with family on the Gold Coast. We chose the Rumba due to the reviews we read, the price and the location. The Rumba was perfect. Our 3 bedroom apartment was modern, fresh, spacious and extremely clean. All the added features helped ...

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with great facilities - especially the massive spa bath. Pool was fantastic and massive spa pool on the roof was a great way to relax with the temperature perfect (some spa pools are too cold). Enjoyed the games room - especially the pool table. Great place to unwind and plenty to do both at the resort and in the Sunshine Coast area. Wo...

Enjoyed my stay at MMBH. The 1BR apartment even came with a jacuzzi. I also used the washing machine. There were cooking utensils too. Nice ocean view from the room. The beach was at doorstep. Lots of eateries along the esplanade. You could go for long walks whenever you wanted. There was a Coles and a pharmacy behind the hotel which made things very convenient. Highly...

Apartment is clean and neat, with amenities such as washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchenette. Bedroom and living room is clean and of good size. AC works wonderfully since Sunshine Coast can be hot and humid. Location wise is great with Sunshine Plaza located less than 5mins walk.

Great location but thats all. Tired & needs a total refurb to modernise. In particular the bathrooms are old & need replacing, grime & smell from shower. The main room is decorated nice but the resort is old & nothing in comparison to other resorts that we have stayed in on the Sunshine & Gold Coast for the same money!

Landmark Resort is in an amazing location right on top of endless cafes, restaurants and shops within a couple minutes of your door step. Landmark Resort staff were so friendly and accommodating and will book you in early and text you when you room is available. The room facilities are remarkable and we will certainly be back real soon and Landmark Resort will be the o...

We've had a 5 stop tour of the gold/sunshine coast and while the apartment is as nice as any, Caloudra is super quiet. Our kids are 5 and 7 so loved the beaches and the playgrounds beside them, but we would have been better at Mooloolaba for more to do and convenience of choice with shops etc. Saying that, there are no complaints with the very nice apartment

Fantastic location, large apartment, spa is the highlight! Introductory paperwork with rules and policies is a bit agressive as well as note left in our room to say spare room is not for use, not necessarily a big deal but a tad off putting when you're on holiday and not paying to stress about the small things. Maybe this could be rectified with a bit of training in cu...

This is a well run and affordable establishment as close to Coolum Beach as it is possible to get. Rooms are large and individual hot water systems ensure a hot shower every time. As in many establishments these days, our king bed was two singles made up as one bed. I realize this gives hotels flexibility but the ridge down the centre can make for uncomfortable cuddle ...

Lovely hotel right on a lagoon within a few mins walk to a beach on the Sunshine Coast. The hotel had plenty of options for food ranging from deli shop, buffet, a la carte and night time snacks plus the main bar was nice to sit in for drinks with friends. All places allowed you to put charges against the room which saved having to think or remember to have cash on han...

Great location bus at front of unit. Short walk to hasting street and beach.Clean and well presented rooms, Wife had a fall before booking in,Jenny offered to get a doctors appointment straight away and checked on our well being daily. Will stay here next visit.

We had a ninth floor beach view unit which was all that we had hoped. Spectacular 180deg views, central location and great weather. The complex although starting to show some age is well maintained and thoroughly clean. The managers are extremely helpful and provide good advice. Restaurants, cafes and shops are at your doorstep and the beach is across the road. The loc...

We booked through agoda however there was an error with the type of room we booked when sent to their system. The staff were extremely helpful in ensuring we had the next best thing and we couldn’t have been happier! The treehouse was newly renovated and so private we felt relaxed and secluded. The freshly renovated bathroom and spa looking out over the trees and rela...

Our two nights at Sea Breeze at Mooloolaba was the highlight of our short Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast holiday. The apartment is virtually brand new and is quite spacious. Both bedrooms had their own ensuites so the apartments would be perfect for a small family. We found card access for after hours entrance very reassuring. The check-in/check-out process was simple and ...
Cheap places to stay in Sunshine Coast

Just stay here if you're coming to Noosa. One of the better hostels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are very big, with nice big lockers. None of the best squeaked, and the hostel in general was very nice size. Also very close to a bus stop, so your really not far from anything!

Amazing hostel pretty much all set and organise. Good enough infrastructure and the staff is one of the best I have seen on my Australia experience. Definitely recommend for any kind of traveller. I’m coming back on September for sure for a few more days of surf and sun!

We stayed 1 night in a family room (double bed plus 3 singles). The room.was on the small side, but impeccably clean. Our son suffers dust allergies, and most carpeted rooms in larger hotels affect him, often badly. However the carpets, furnishings etc in this motel were super clean, he had none of his usual hotel-room reactions. This made such a difference to us. Eve...

Our Cabin was clean. It would be great if Agoda pet friendly description actually matched Big 4 Ingenia's policy. When we arrived we were nearly refused entry to our booked cabin. This was because we had little pups....not acceptable to Ingenia. Thanks to generousity of the Big 4 manager he allowed us to remain in our booked cabin so long as pups stayed in car. Thi...

Staff were excellent,, happy, pleasant to talk to and helpful with our questions on places to go/eat , room very clean and comfortable, best bed we have ever slept in at a motel, across the road from events centre so a very short walk for our night out, we spent 2 nights here and would stay again.

Easy to book on line using Agoda. Made feel very welcome by helpful staff. We were not "just another paying guest". Very clean, comfortable room. We were given a room at the back of the complex as it was quieter away from busy Brisbane Road. Happy to recommend this motel and would happily stay there again.

Probably the best hotel I stay in sunshine coast so far. Have been travelling with my 2 toddlers boy every alternate weekends for a quick getaway at the beaches and Australia Zoo. Toilet is clean, hot water for bath is readily available. Carpet is clean. Ample parking in front of the accommodation. Hotel is just besides Woolworths, within 5mins walk. Really worth the m...

my wife, son and i stayed at seafarers chaise for a week in sep 2012. we booked for 6 nights originally but wanted to make an adjustment to the booking. karen (manager of seafarer) was fantastic, and made the adjustment with no fuss. she was also super helpful when our plane was delayed and we ended up arriving late in the evening. the location of the apartment is ...

I found the hotel clean and comfortable and was suitable for my purpose. As far as value for money, I found the hotel relatively inexpensive. The meal I had was quality, but I only ate there on my arrival and left early on the morning following the funeral I attended. One advantage was its closeness to the airport.

I know that the Motel is a bit old and it needs a lot of TLC but the Manager was very lovely and friendly and so helpful. It was so close to everything and we had everything we needed for the night we were up Caloundra for my girlfriend's birthday dinner. Pet friendly for us so its a bonus. Will stay there again. Thank you Anna for your hospitality. Betty.

Location was extremely convenient for the Sunshine Coast Ironman 70.3 event. The rooms are okay, beds are a little worn (sinks in the middle), and carpets look tired too. On Friday there was nobody at reception the whole day, and while he put up a sign to call him, many of us travelers don't have an aussie number to call with, so that was a little inconvenient. Our un...

It was very average. Although considering I booked this hotel on Agoda and had a cheap rate (I paid $100 for the night), it baffled me that even though the hotel was not fully booked that night, I was given the room closest to the pokies with one of the wardrobe doors broken hence we couldn't slide it open but had to physically lift the door to one side to get access t...

It was just for an overnight stay hence we didn't have much expectations but the cleanliness and overall stay is really a pleasant one! It's only a 2 storey high motel and we were on the second floor. Thanks for putting a baby cot in it, he loves it! There was a small pool which we didn't get to try it though. There wasn't much noise as compared to other reviewers, so ...

Located at the top of town, it was an easy walk down town to shops and eateries. Staff were welcoming and room was clean. It was basic accommodation but with air-conditioning, a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom it suited us for 3 days exploring this lovely region. Only minor complaint is the foam soap dispensers. They're fine for the hand basin but somewhat challen...

We chose this due to it's proximity to the Australia Zoo we wished to visit and a great starting point to travelling up north afterwards. The room was ideal for the 3 of us wanting seperate beds and the free wifi and movies were an added bonus. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable of where to go to eat dinner and shop and breakfast was a great price and delicious. W...

I have stayed a week for a short holiday in the Sunshine Coast. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is nice, it is in the middle of Coolum Beach and Maroochydore, and a 25min drive can arrive some attractions nearby and the hinterland. It's own path to the nearby beach is great for a morning or evening walk. I got everything I need while staying here...

Our stay was awesome. It was the first time I have taken my 11 year old son away and I wanted it to be special. I was a bit unsure when I first booked our room, it seemed to be too good to be true. I spoke with the resort personally a few times and was worried about being a nuisance. As we were a late check in I received a txt explaining how to gain entry. We were in t...

This was a fantastic place to stay! Right in the heart of Hasting street! Accommodation was nice and clean. The only cons that I have are that the bed was really hard to sleep on, we disnt sleep well. And the rooms are quite noisy, you can easily hear the next room banging doors etc. But for the location, cleanliness and lovely pool I would stay there again (I’d pack...

It was sudden booking and late check in. When we arrived at the place, already office was closed. But after we called her, she just came as soon as possible. She was so nice and sweet. The room was nice and clean. If I go back to Sunshine Coast, definitely I will stay here again!

Beachcomber is a great place to stay. No roads to cross to get to the beach. Can walk to restaurants very easily. We booked the 2b'room Penthouse, there are no oceans views and you have to go into stairwell and access the rooftop from there, where you will find and old couch, table and chairs and bbq with two sun chairs . We think the terraces are the better option ...

Stayed here for a weekend and loved everything. Gorgeous resort, views over the gold coast. 2 bedroom apartment we had was fantastic. Nothing to complain about at all. Located outside the main area of Noosa but it's a 3 minute drive in a car to Hastings street so still very convenient. Great base for the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic location Great value for money Heated pool a bonus for cooler months The air conditioning unit sounded like a jet plane taking off so we couldn’t use it...luckily it was cool enough! More blankets needed...there was only a sheet on the bed....nothing else...we found a thin blanket in the cupboard when it turned chilly in the morning Overall very satisfied, ...

Our apartment was very clean & spacious & had everything thing we needed for our 6 day visit, great location. Steve was very helpful & nothing was a problem for him. Would certainly stay here again when we come to Australia to visit our grandchildren. Only downside was lack of internet provided.

Loved every minute. One of the best places I have ever stayed because of its location and views of the ocean. All the home comforts. There were only the two of us, but we had a bathroom each. Bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Kitchen facilities were great. Being able to go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean was wonderful.

Everything good about this Apartment! The only problem we had is our vehicle was 2.1m High so we had to park it at the visitors lot. Otherwise everything else was great! The apartment had everything we need. There were 13 of us and we booked 2 units of 3 bedroom Apartment. Their reception is close by 5pm and they are opened the next day at 8.30am. The Big Supermarket ...

We stayed the Sunseeker with another couple when we attended a wedding in a nearby town on the Sunshine Coast. The welcoming staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Our shared space was large enough to accommodate us and the occasional visitors. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and adequate for our needs. The views from the balcony were sup...

We had no issues with the accommodation. We found it exactly as described. Many food and activities are located away from the accomodation, so having a vehicle was a definite plus for us. We liked walking in the park across the street in the evening when lorakeets would fly into the trees above to roost for the night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recomme...

Centrally placed between Maroochydore and Mooloolaba you can walk in any direction along the coast path and get to all the attractions of both towns. Three surf clubs are stationed along the coast for safe family fun and plenty of other actions. We were in cabin 101 and could even see the sea from our little porch.

We only had one night to get away for a short break recently and wanted to find somewhere we would be able to thoroughly unwind and relax in that short time.. and we are so glad we chose Altitude on Montville! We picked The Falls for a long overdue belated honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Just perfect! Exceeded my expectations and can't wait to come back for longer. Couldn't fault anything. The accommodation has everything that you need and they have thought of every little detail. An amazing getaway and would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely place for a weekend getaway! Great for families, couples or small groups. Plenty to do and friendly residents!
Brilliant area with so much to do and very relaxed and not as commercial as many other beach locations.
Bus service excellent , Australia Zoo nearby, gardens RSL Surf club Walkways all in all a ezcellent holiday destination
Had a great time at the Colundra Music Festival. It runs for 4 days but we just went for 1. Right beside the beach so can go for a swim while there.
The Sunshine Coast is a great family destination with a laid back feel and your choice of doing nothing much at all or being very busy with all the markets, shopping and natural attractions.
Very good road conditions, so many things and enjoyments to do, perfect place to go, the only disadvantage is the cost too much.
The Sunshine Coast is about 1 hr north of Brisbane and is a lot quitter than the Gold Coast. The beaches are great and the restaurants are excellent.
There is plenty for all in this pretty place. Shopping, beaches and plenty of restaurants. If you want to just relax in your apartment you can do that with food delivered.
We went from Australia Zoo to Maroochydore to stay for one night-found the cinemas, it was in the centre of a very lively restaurant and water area-our favourite chocolate place San Churro was there, the Aztec chili chocolate drink is thick and wonderful-cinema has lots of theatres-best place in Maroochydore
Sunshine Coast has many attractive beach and water sports for tourists to explore and enjoy. The beaches are clean and the locals are very friendly.
Explore both the beaches and the hinterland. The beach is great place to have fun in the sun and the hinterland has good mountain views such as the glasshouse mountain.
The people in Sunshine Coast are really friendly. The place is so beautiful and there are many markets with interesting items on sale.
Great people, great cafe's, Restaurants, The Sun, Awesome Beaches, Quick bus ride to Hastings Street where you can hire a scooter great place to unwind for a long weekend AAA++
Enjoyed our stay at Sunshine coast. The scenery and beaches are lovely, and tour operators very pleasant and helpful.
The sunshine coast has many restaurants, but few of them impress. I am a local, and I travel to Noosa or Montville if I want nice food.
It is a beautiful, sunny place to relax and enjoy the surroundings or go shopping at one of the many centres.
We loved the walk out to tea tree bay and granites. Great surfing. Friendly people. Everyone seems happy and says hi.
I love the Sunshine Coast we visit as often as we can. So many places to stay, see and enjoy. Offers a huge variety of activities whether you are very active or want to just relax.
It is an excellent spot to visit for personal relaxation and sightseeing experiences. People are very friendly and the general atmosphere is welcoming.
the sunshine cost is a beautiful area with many different places to see so hire a car and just follow the cost line!
A perfect place for couple or lovers, romantic atmosphere with awesome sunset view. Also good for family with children, safe & calm Main beach with a Notational Park around.
Fun place, great for family and good shoping. Australia Zoo is worth a visit and a drive out to Malany.
Sunshine coast is a nice place if you just want to relax and doing nothing. Lying on the beach may be one of the best way to spend your holiday there.
There is so much to see on the Sunshine Coast. Beautiful beaches, mountain ranges, quaint little towns.
The sushine coast covers a distance of about 50klms. Surfing is very popular at most of the beaches along the coast.
As we r from Melbourne & are in the middle of Winter, it was a very welcome break from the cold. Everywhere we went the people welcomed us & all extremely friendly & helpful which made us feel special & welcome.
The Sunshine Coast covers a very large area, made up of many beaches, theme parks, hinterland hideaways, golf courses, Australia Zoo, Noosa, Caloundra and many others.
