Where to stay in Tarija
Tarija hotels & accommodations

I had a great stay at the Hotel in August 2015. The location right off the palm-lined main plaza makes the hotel a great base of operations while you're exploring Tarija, a wonderful sleepy town. The rooms do feel a bit dated, but they're very comfortable. The (included) breakfast is a bit limited, but just shoot down the street for a salteña if you're not satisfied...

The pre booked single room was not available upon late arrival. They offered me a bed in a very smelly and not really clean dormitory room. Female staff very unfriendly and not helpful at all. She tried to blame me that it was my fault due to the late arrival. Left to find some room to sleep. Lucky enough found a fantastic place. Therefore avoid Casa Blanca Hostel.
