"The Hotel Casa Duranta was the perfect base to explore Coban. Located in the center of town it is a lovely hotel in an old Spanish style house tastefully decorated with wrought iron and antique wooden furniture. The hotel has a lot of charm with nice touches (candles are lit in the patio at night). Rooms are disposed around a courtyard. The room are spacious and the bathroom very large and spotless. Cable TV with English speaking channels is available and internet in room is fast and reliable. Because of an early departure there was no opportunity to have breakfast. We asked the hotel to make arrangement for a pick-up at 4:00AM and the taxi was right on time. The hotel is very well run."
