In a great location for accessing all the main sites and the happy hour deals are great value, but beware. We booked and paid in full in advance thinking this would ensure the best price. It did not! The suite is very spacious with good kitchen facility to cook your own meals. The fact that it is situated next to a river, having breakfast in the deck was a great pleasure. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the town. Definately recommend for travellers especially family.

One of the top 3 stays of my trip to South America. Although I stayed for only a few hours, it was so very wonderful. The room was an eclectic mix of bohemian and Eastern influences. breakfast choice was limited and got rather tedious by 3rd day, bread was stale every day (although i found that argentina doesn't do good bread generally) staff were very friendly but spoke limited english so have a few phrases pre-translated prior to going. beds were comfortable & room/bathroom was good size

The hotel is located on the main road and therefore easy access with bus to the falls, airport and city center. Bed was reasonably comfortable. I rated this hostel poorly as I was not impressed by the bathroom or kitchen. To be fair it is very cheap in a good location but I feel too many places think they can ignore other aspects of clean accomodation.

The hotel is across the street from the buses to Iquazu which saves you from taxis. After the Falls, the outside swimming pool with a bar is a great way of coming alive again. Many people would opt for a hotel closer to the falls, but this hotel is very close to town, if you like to explore a good places to eat and enjoy the good wine, do some shopping, I would recommend it. Great hotel with a great staff.

The Mod is an excellent hotel - clean, modem spacious rooms , a nice pool and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is also good. The only real downside is the location. It’s on the eastern edge of Mendoza, a good 20 minutes walk from the restaurants and bars on Sarmiento and about 40 minutes from Villanueva. I suggest a taxi !

You could do better almost anywhere

This is a good place to stay in Mendoza, the central local is convenient to bus station, market, restarants. They also has a counter to book local tours.

We had a lovely two days at Posada Cavieres. Super comfy bed. Used the bikes to explore wineries which was great! Wished it had been longer. Staying here really is like staying with friends. Hans is a gem and a great cook too.

This place was so cute (dare I say romantic) and had a great BnB feel. Good breakfast in the morning too. WiFi worked well in the room and the shower was nice and hot. The location is a little out of the way, but town was still less than a 1mile walk. I'm really happy we stayed here and would do so again if we are ever back in El Calafate.

Mix feelings about this hostel, location was good, the rooms far too small and cramped, rules too strict and not welcoming, owner/ receptionist don’t make you feel welcome, they don’t allow you to leave your bag if you are not staying meaning if you check out you have to leave the hostel, even if you need to leave your bag and comeback to pick it up later.

Extremeley good place to stay. We were also able to leave one big bag behind for 10 days and pick it up aferwards when we were very well received again. We wouls certainly return here again a next time.

The only negative is the fact that the City of Salta does not believe in catching wild dogs and put them to sleep or in a dog shelter. We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the beautiful city of Salta. The owners, Niv and Carola (and Doron the dog) were very welcoming. The rooms are very basic (no tv, shared bathrooms) but are fine for the amount they cost. Definitely recommend staying here.

Stay was amazing. Was there during off-season, and was upgraded to a suite. Had a great time lounging around and also visiting the vineyard (which served superb wine for rock bottom prices). We liked Hotel Casita Suiza so much that we went on to stay another 5 or 6 nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again. Only improve in our opinion would be a kettle for tea/coffee in room.

This was not bad at all, as far as hostels go, the staff had no problem changing a fw details for us and happily spoke English or Spanish according to preference... The hotel is situated near the city but away from the noise and traffic. It faces a beautiful lake. The room is basic but comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is basic continental but unlike other hotels, the staff was willing to cook us eggs, which is unusual by Argentinean standard!

The stuff was amazing, breakfast was good but the standard of room was, hm let's call it mistake. Old bathroom with mould on the walls and leaking wc, old furniture that need to be replaced, one source of light. Will do for 1-3 nights if you just sleep in the room. Wifi in room did not worked for the most of the time, we had to go to the corridor to find the signal.
