Everything you need if you’re on a budget. Wifi was a bit iffy at times but sorted itself out.

We got the private room in the back which has hammocks to lay on. Has a mini fridge which is great. Nice location and you can use their bikes for free. You just have to return them by 8pm. They have AC in the rooms but can only use it from 7pm-9am unfortunately. A nice outdoor shared kitchen is provided too.

We only stayed one night, but Nature Resort is a very nice place to stay, sorrounded by nature and with the howler monkeys a short walk away. It is very clean, the staff is really good and the meals are very good and at a reasonable price. WiFi is poor and sometimes doesn't work at all. There are available local tours to see the crocodiles at night and also, day walks....

The apartment was very basic there were 3 of us but the apartment was really only suitable for 2 as the fold out lounge bed was in a poor state aircon was also struggling with the heat. On the plus side there's a spa which was great. and staff were friendly. There are better places but for the price is ok Would I stay again .yes

Stayed here with my friend and was happy with the hotel. Great value for money. I was stoked to have a yoga class on the rooftop watching the sunset!

Host waited till past 10pm for us to arrive, after a nightmare day of travelling on Easter Fri. The next morning she woke us up in time to make our plane, organised an early breakfast and phoned our late taxi driver to ensure he was awake too. What a star! Rooms were clean, showers were warm. A lucky find close to the airport!

It was a strange place, hard to find and the set up was strange. We were only here for one night and it was far enough outside of the centre of the city that it felt safe. Belize city is not the safest of places so it was good to not have to worry about the car etc. The staff was helpful and they offer dinners you can purchase onsite with a set menu as there is nothing...

Very nice property. It was very clean, great bed, shower had hot water and pressure, and the wifi worked in the room. The hotel was excellent but there were cheaper places that we could have stayed. The location looked right at the beach though and we had a great Balcony to enjoy.

Pink cabin was not the unit we thought we booked. The pool house was our choice. My wife can't climb the stairs required at pink house, if we had known we would never have booked. Breakfast was a joke. Tv didn’t work at all & no one seemed to care . However I did manage to get a reading light which is all important for me!

Abel has the nicest apartments by the south end of the island. For travelers who prefer quiet surroundings this spot is perfect. You’ll have access to bikes which are essential when getting into the city.

Mediocre hotel for the price

The hotel is located 5 min walk from the water express taxi terminal, which after a long day of travel via plane and boat to the island was much appreciated. The staff were all extremely friendly nd helpful. Roda remembered our names from day one and made us feel very comfortable and at home. We stayed for 6 nights in a Bungalow, and were surprised to find out upon arrival, that it was semi-detached. Luckily, our neighbours were a lovely couple. The stay was great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was just fantastic. Clean hotel, and overall great value for the money. A/C temperatures were off, and the wifi was only available in the courtyard, but other than that - really a great hotel for the price.

Location was perfect. Can walk to a lot of restaurants, bars, stores in San Pedro. Need a ride to the Ambergris Caye side. The rooms were older but very clean. Not the best mattresses ever but certainly not the worst either. For the price, I will definitely stay there again. Enjoyed it.

We had two couples on this trip and we were treated great from the moment we arrived. It's a perfect location to visit ruins from. Don't go expecting a five star accommodation the rooms are clean and cute and again I can't say enough about the staff.

The hotel is located a little bit outside of San Ignacio, but it is very easy to flag down a taxi from the road or maybe even walk to town if you want. The room itself was small but clean and very comfortable with working air conditioning. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help or offer assistance if they could. Awesome spot to get away. Maddy your host, is absolutely amazing and quite the history buff on the Mayan lands Lower Dover sits on. Oh you must try the wine they make on the property

We much enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts - Mike and Steve - who put a tremendous amount of energy into their jungle resort. The view, the silence, the cool breeze after a hot day (truly replaces A/C) generates an unbeatable atmosphere for people who are ready to wind down whilst taking the chance to actively explore the beauty of the Cayo region.

I love Belize and love Placencia! Belizean Nirvana was a great place where to stay: the room was very comfortable, and the owner of the place was very helpful in giving us tips on spots where to go eat, or which service to use to go snorkeling. Would return there in a heartbeat!

What a great place to stay. Quaint, peaceful, tranquil location on the water. Nicole, the owner, is there to answer all your questions and concerns. There are bikes to ride and a kayak to paddle at the cabanas. Short distance to the village. You can walk or bike into the village. We had a great time in Placencia!!

They are friendly and clean. We had original book 2 rooms nut when we arrive we realize only need one room. They are happy to work with us. Most hotel won't do that for last minute.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff offset the lower floor dark, and somewhat dingy, room. Room was perfectly functional complete with air con and hot showers, it just had an absence of natural night.

We stayed here for honeymoon. Our villa was just in front of beautiful beach. The villa was clean with AC, microwave, coffee maker, shaker, cooking pads etc, so we just could relax and felt perfect. We really appreciate for the owners!

Great place, great helpfunctie owner in a Nice little City!

This is a bare bones stopover. Cottages are tucked away in the cane fields near a canal. The places are clean, but no Internet, hot water or AC in the cottages. The shower didn't work, not enough water pressure. I had to use an empty water bottle to clean up. The village is very nice. An ok place to stay if you don't mind roughing it.

The food was what intrigued us, and kept us at the Maya Beach hotel all week. The staff is very helpful and courteous, and helped us to arrange trips to the best Belizean experiences, snorkeling on the Belize Barrier Reef, the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest in the world.
