First rate hotel with an exquisite and well appointed lobby, helpful staff who impressively make it a point to get to know you personally, delicious and abundant food, and beautiful and refreshing pools. The airport pick-up included a cooling wash cloth, cold water, and wifi - really classy hotel that thought of great little touches from beginning to end. Just note t...

We enjoyed evevery bit of this hotel. Good food, good Internet connection, good service excellence. From the moment we arrived u till we let it was one pampering experience after another by the extreamly polite and cheerfully staff. We we recommend given a free uprated from our standard room to a larger and spacious room to accommodate an extra bed for our 11years old...

The Monarch Hotel Staff were very accommodating making our long stay pleasurable. I would not mind going back to this hotel on our next visit to Accra. One improvement that can be done though is the time to prepare breakfast. Sometimes it took us an hour to get our breakfast, so we had to call way earlier in advance to have it prepared.

This is a fairly new and well-maintained hotel in an affluent neighborhood of Accra. However because it's new and surrounded by ongoing developments, it's not well known by locals and is difficult to get to and from city center because many streets in Accra lack street names. The room was air conditioned with free wifi. The breakfast had both hot and cold food options ...

Staff were courteous and helpful ( Vincent in the restaurant, Emmanuel and Enoch at front desk). Pool area is beautiful and exceptionally managed. The sea breeze by the pool side was super relaxing. The room and bathroom were luxurious. Loved the meals: delicious with a wide variety. Truly a beautiful and peaceful place. Highly recommended!

The staff are EXCELLENT. This is why I keep returning. However the OWNERS, not the management, need to improve and update the rooms. For example the carpet in my suite was stained, and the top sheets were frayed. I also put a request in for a vegan diet, yet I had to go out and buy my own non-dairy creamer for tea/coffee and was unable to have cereal on the first day, ...

Stayed at the Accra City Hotel for 3 nights. The room was clean and the internet was the fastest if have experienced in Africa (Skype etc worked perfectly). I attended a conference at a nearby (more expensive) hotel during the day and given the price difference, staying at the Accra City Hotel was a great choice. Breakfast buffet had a full spread with great variety, p...

My fiance and I stayed at the Pink Hostel for 4 days while in Accra. We enjoyed our stay and really thought that the staff was helpful. There are plenty of good restaurants around, some within walking distance. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay at a clean and friendly hotel on a budget.

Spacious room, clean, value for money. Good location, there are good eating places nearby, but it's in the quite area of Accra. Cleanliness of the water in the swimming pool can be improved. And as I found in a lot of places in Africa, it's not easy to get a hair dryer.

Stayed for 5 days and it was one complaint to the next. Wifi didn't work in the room and we had to always come to the reception to get connected. Hotel management could not fix that until we left. Breakfast was forced on you. No choice at all. You either eat what they have or you starve. A lot of the equipments didn't work properly. The gym had equipments that were old...

The hotel is very laid back and cosy and overall very nice. When traveling with children though it does not really have child facilities and the lack of an in house restaurant was also problematic for us. However, I would definitely recommend it for adult travelers, the staff is very nice and helpful, always someone at hand, the location is great as it is quiet and sti...

It is a lovely and nicely decorated guesthouse right next to Lake Bosumtwe about 5 kms near the small village of Abono. The Slovenian owners really make you feel at home and were helpful. We had our own little house directly next to the water and the central grass field where you could relax. You can hire a canoe or go for hiking in the beautiful forest around the lake...

With training especially to catering and serving staff Asentewaa Premier Guesthouse will definitely lead the hospitality industry from the front. Would definitely visit again the next time we are in Kumasi.

We had a lovely 5 nights at Coconut Grove using it as a base for local exploration. It is a peaceful haven to stay, self contained and comfortable with a fabulous beach location. For travelers to Cape Coast, there is nothing about this place that resembles an international hotel. Our room was cramped, dark and smelly. The hotel is not located near any beach or major sites. There are no facilities for dining. There is no way that this is a 4 star hotel - it is at best a one star guest house. Avoid this place at all costs.

At arrival the reception didn't know I had booked a room from Agoda. I had to resend my confirmation email to the manager. Please sort that out. Also there is a part of the outdoor restaurant that needs fixing if that is done the place has potential to be a very good holiday destination.
