Greece hotels & accommodations

The view of the hotel was gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much. The staff were nice and polite. They provided detailed travel information for us. The price for the hotel was a real bargain at such a low price. I will come to this hotel again for my next visit of Greece.

I stayed at Cypria for two days and I had an excellent experience. The location - and the price for such location - is unbeatable - right at the heart of Athens and two minutes away from the metro station. Walk out of the hotel and you already have numerous choices of restaurants. The central location doesn't mean the rooms are noisy though - my room was quiet and c...

We had a suite for a steal during fire sales. This hotel was one of the best hotel we stayed during our travel. The main bedroom was comfortable with nice bed and big balcony. One thing that puzzled me was the placement of the fridge cabinet, which was also the table for the LCD TV. It was placed behind the door to the bedroom in such a way that the door cannot open fu...

We've chosen the president suite at the hotel. It was really big and it's for 4 people. We are only 2, and we have 2 King size beds and 2 showers and 4 toilets. The hotel arranged airport pick up and drop off service. The driver is a kind interesting old man, he introduced the island on the way to hotel. The staff helped us carried the luggages and gave us a detailed i...

so we took the buses from the ferry terminal to oia. we went to the information centre for direction, but was instead advised that our hotel booking is waiting for us and that someone will help us with our luggage :) wow! i could not stop omg-ing when i arrived at the hotel and was given a tour from the reception area to our room by elena (1 of the 2 very nice staf...

This hotel was amazing, the room was super modern and the shower looked like a space age time machine! The bed was super comfy and their morning breakfast is great and there's a great view of Acropolis. The concierge went waaay above and beyond the call of duty and had a ton of great recommendedations for us, especially the amazing restaurant Mono she recommended lit...

Actually we have previous booking for another hotel 2 month before the trip, but Agoda cancelled my booking just 1 week before the trip, because the room is over booked. I was super angry. During this last minutes change, most of the rooms are full in Santorini and the prices are increased. I have not choice but book Manos small world, which is near my previous booki...

Initially booked Athenaeum Grand but was redirected to Athenaeum Palace, which was equally fantastic hotel located just about 150m adjacent. Location is very convenient with bus stop just outside the hotel, 24hrs convenient store and metro is just 3 stops away. The room was awesome!! New amenities and also comes with a handy which is VERY useful for tourist not having...

The only part of the hotel better than the view and location was the friendly and helpful staff. They're available right after booking - throughout the trip and booked excursions, provided restaurant recommendations and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Could not give higher marks! Thanks!

So far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Europe. Their service was exceptionally GOOD. I lost my passport on the first day I arrived Athens, the hotel receptionist helped me out to contact the embassy and assisted me to the nearest police station. Fortunately, three days later, someone from the Ministry of Culture in Athens has found my passport, however I couldn’t co...

This is the second time we are in Santorini. We stayed at the honeymoon suite which has an amazing view over Thira. The hotel and suite is located at the top of the cliff so it simply has the best over Thira I guarantee. The altitude is also the highest among every other hotel in Thira. There may be other hotels with fancier pool, but this hotel is just the best becaus...

Avra is a great resort with great service but I would recommend it more for family trips. We went during the peak season in summer and the resort was filled with families and children. We were 2 couples and we did not really need the private pools in our bedrooms as we were out and about most of the time. The beach that Avra is on is wide, big and clean but not the w...

I stayed in 3 hotels during my stay in Santorini. And Tholos Resort is by far the best among these three. Pro: 1. You ordered the breakfast the night before. And it would be served to you at your balcony next morning. Having the tasty breakfast at your balcony with the great view of the caldera! 2. Room is spacious. The washroom is also spacious. I like the room very...

After some complications with our room - we had booked a Spa Suite, which was no longer available. The staff did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They compensated us with a complimentary dinner in their own restaurant, which I must say was one of the best meals we had in Greece - and one of the best Views of the Acropolis. Staff in all...

My girlfriend and I booked this trip within a month of our planned travels. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated with such kindness. The staff, from the front desk to the servers to the cleaning people, were always smiling and willing to help. Amazing hospitality. The front desk assisted us with booking cabs, making resverations, and also providing ...

I had the best time at Exclusive plan suites in Santorini!. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. one of best view you will get offered from the spa bath that just amazing!! My room was very clean and a big bath room that 2 basins and 2 shower together!. Handy location that little restaurants and mini marts. There are so many nice hotels in Santorini but I will defini...

This hotel is 1min from Metaxourgio station which is 1 stop away from Larissa station (where regional trains arrive/depart) and close to regional bus depots, making it a good base for daytrips out of Athens. Otherwise, it is 3 stops from Syntagma (parliament house where changing of the guard is, high end shopping and the main shopping street) and 4 from Acropoli (Acrop...

This is a perfect hotel for us. We only needed 1 night stay in Athens as our priority in Greece was the islands. We were looking for something that is near the train station, so that we can walk to the train station to catch our 6am train to airport. This hotel has the perfect location. The train station for trains going to the airport was not just one street away, it ...

Amazing friendly staff. Eleni was great and super helpful with getting us transportation, setting up ATVs, etc. breakfast was also amazing every morning, even though I’m sure we annoyed them with our late wake ups. Housekeeping was very responsive. Pool and views were amazing. Private hot tub was also sweet and had a great view. Had dinner there the last night which wa...

This is my 2nd time in Astoria, the best thing is the staff in all areas especially Vasiliki in reception, and Tina in room service. I tried 3 room types Budget single stay was not bad at all very good value for money if you don't mind a back side window view. There are 2 types of double rooms, you better make sure you get the bath tub and 6/7th floor rooms they are th...

Great location, good facilities overall, however... there's need to upgrade the room furniture - including the beds - as mine was extremely hard, in fact the hardest bed I have slept for a long time. Bathrooms need better plumbing as the toilet in my room was blocked in the second night of my stay, not a good look for a five star hotel. Other than that, the hotel and...

We arrived around dusk to the most spectacular sunset we could have imagined. The setting of this hotel is truly spectacular!!! Forget going elsewhere when you have the best view from your room! The staff here were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and even located us in a room right by the pool so that we could be close to our room when our baby was napping. ...

It s a good location, which combinate sea and swimming pool, very kind staff but the rooms are very old and have insects, which made our night very difficult. because of one insect, we couldn t sleep of its noise. The breakfast was good but one negative notice that the coffee that i want to drink i have to pay for it. Hotel is expensive in totally for that which offe...

The hotel is perched up on a high hill near elia beach and has extremely beautiful views. The hotel itself is very well kept, clean, very friendly staff and has a great cozy bar and restaurant. Ideally you should rent a car as the hotel is tucked away on a beautiful but far side of mykonos. But that should not stop you from staying here as in my opinion, it's one of th...

Everything was PERFECT! This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! Our resort was in the perfect location - gorgeous view, friendly staff, beautiful room with a hot tub, and delicious breakfast! We would highly recommend this property!

i got a big room. It was clean with balcony and pool-view. I like to have close to the beach. And this take 5 minutes walk. Helpful personal in reception when i ask about booking of travel coz i dont speak greece with travel-agentur. Hotel have a good place in city to close to much restaurants and shops.
Cheap places to stay in Greece

Love the athmosphere there, the rooms, everything nice and working, clean and well taken care. Only con is that reception closes at 23h!!! My flight arrived 00:30 and I asked to wait for me, my plan was to catch the bus to the city and walk 1.7km or catch a taxi there, the night guy said to catch a taxi quickly at the AirPort because he would stay just until 1am. I end...

Maria that co-owns it,was in the reception desk to help me with whatever I wanted to.She was very kind and because I arrived late in the evening for the check-in and I did the check-out earlier than I should have, she told me that I can come later if I have time to enjoy the pool, which I think that happens very rarely to hotels. For the staff that runs the hotel to be th...

Booked in a panic for a late night, and enjoyed the place so much I stayed another. The facilities served me well, the location was INCREDIBLE, and I enjoyed meeting my roommates. I stayed in the dorm, which opens directly on the street. We shared meals and drank at a table across the way. It was a very enjoyable stay.

1) It is a good hostel. There is a small snack area where you can make tea/coffee next to the dorms. The real kitchen is behind the building in an open area; there is a ceiling but no side wall. 2) The lock on the in dorm bathroom was not working but there were other bathrooms where the lock was ok 3) Nice chillout common area downstairs from the rooms. 4) Keep in min...

Is quite difficult to fine the place because is located in the old town, so when you take the bus from airport to new town, new town is just next to old town. Get a map and ask for the right direction. The place is small home hotel with about 10 rooms located at the outer ring of the old town and is convenience to explore the complete area. The owner is very friendly a...

The only regret i have is not staying a few more nights at this immaculately clean place perched on a hill overlooking the sea. Strong wifi, beautiful balconies, strong wifi signa, quiet setting and a welcoming host are just some of the great things about this place.

I stayed in a one-person tent for 8 nights. The ladies were both super lovely and helpful, the reception is open 'til late. There's a shop just across the road. You can put all your valuables in their safe, so there's no need to worry about them getting lost. There's a kettle, a fridge and a freezer provided, and a sufficient number of toilets and showers, The locatio...

We had an awesome stay at Heliotrope. If you can, ask for the top studio as it has the best view but you have to climb lots of steps to get there! Big living area, balcony and room. Only downsides were no cold water during our stay and there never seems to be anyone around to check in or out, or ask for help especially if you don't have a cellphone to ring them. Dimitr...

This is a great place. The only problem is for foreign visitors needing to make a phone call to check in. The staff is rarely around. A lady from the store across the street helped me call the owner who eventually checked me in. Greeks are helpful and welcoming, so it all worked out in the end.

Location is 5 mins walk from train station. My room(single room) was.quite big. TV channel is good but mainly local programmes. WiFi is bad. As my room.is on ground floor, I can heard people chatting and cars passing by.... especially at night. The best thing about this hostel is the host. They make U feel welcome after 5 hrs train ride. After checking out at 9am for a...

room is big , very homely. toilet is small and hot water is not really hot like tap water. room is chilly in march. but i will still stay here because the owner is a great guy. brought us around for tour and the sites he brought us to see are fantastic even in march (low peak where most of shops and attractions were closed) he taught us how to do standup-paddle. took ...

What a fantastic stay in Sunday studios. I was greeted by early check in, an upgraded room and fresh cheese pastries! So sweet. Next day I came home with the room cleaned and apple cake in the fridge. Great location between Agia Anna and prokopios, 1 min walk to the beach. Would recommend!

set on the hillside overlooking the city and sea and its own little villages of shops, restaurants, it was great to relax, by the pool and recuperate. The staff was great and very helpful in every way, and as I had a hip problem at the time they put us in a unit close to the road which was spacious and great views, so thank you very much. Also, great wifi and satellit...

We cannot say enough about Epic Rooms, our host George and his mother Mrs. Vassos! George was quick to reply to any questions that we had and he helped us with an issue we had that necessitated a call home to our bank. And his mother was a sweetheart! She checked us in with a smile and took the time to make sure that we were settled in even though we arrived late in...

The place is simply wonderful. Not only the (freshly renovated) rooms, the atmosphere and the (awesome) breakfast and traditionally cooked meals, but also (and especially) the hosts where so lovely, we wished, we could've stayed longer. Thank you so much for accommodation :)

The apartment is at the highest level. The owner is a kind and helpful, active business person. We were the first guests and notice that all are still in the process of becoming. But Manuel is constantly trying to make the service better. We booked 9 nights and were fascinated by this place and decided to stay longer. A great place for couples and companies.

I stayed at Chrisanthi Studios mid-June 2019 and thought it was great value for money. The rooms were basic, but had a big balcony and were cleaned every day. The hosts were friendly and nice. The area was quiet (which I liked), but still close to plenty of places to eat and drink. Also a supermarket and a laundry were nearby. I would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time at Villa Diasselo! Banos the owner was spot on and helped with anything we needed. The apartments are a great size and very clean. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay, whether a group of friends like ourselves or a family or even solo. Excellent location also with a supermarket and car rental just around the corner.

We had a great stay at Revekka! The location was great. Just steps to the waterfront where there are restuarants and tavernas. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and airy. Our room was a double and it was enormous and very functional. Our little balcony had a peek-a-boo view of nearby mountains. We had an issue when we were checking in, as they overlooked our...

Staff were friendly well informed and warm. Outdoor pool area is fabulous and the restaurant offers great service and value for money. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless and lovely touches like the percale linen and pristine thick toweling we loved!

Its always everyone's ask that they get best value for their money in terms of experience, facilities, location etc., What made our stay amazing here is the attention to detail of the team in Bella Santorini. They take their time to personalize things for you, go the extra mile in their recommendations that help you save money and are always on the look out to make our...

these guys were great from my girlfriend and i walking into the hotel the man on the desk took our bags to our room, (which he promptly upgraded because they had one free) then helped show us where the closest things were that we wanted to do, gave us maps! my friend was sick on the first night so they helped us get delivery food from a restaurant for me!! in the morn...

The hotel is all in all excellent! The views are breathtaking, both from the pool level and from the sea view rooms. The sunset from here is stunning! The balconies offer privacy from adjacent balconies. The restaurant is unlike other hotel restaurants, it is top class! It offers great fresh and local food and amazing cocktails. Kostas, the front office manager took very good care of us , He was gracious and helpful. The breakfast staff were efficient, professional and very nice, I took off 2 stars for the hamam which is a steam room and was not working well For our time there , but management made it up to us. The layout is a bit odd and the sauna a bit tight. The pool and rooftop deck are b...

This hotel is near the airport so we use it as a base and travel to other islands from it. For us , the location is excellent because it is very, very close to the airport -you can see and hear the planes land. This might be a problem for other users but like the fact that the area is otherwise very quiet. A lot of Santorini has been ruined because it is s touristy and...

We had 12 people in our group, and we used five rooms at the hotel. Everyone had a wonderful experience. The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food was always great, especially the breakfasts!! The pool service was lovely, too. We would definitely stay here again. ...

I did expect that The Golden Age of Athens would be a pleasant hotel but the hotel, its staff and services have surpassed my expectations. The help desk was truly helpful (Thank you Eleni!!!) The rooms were spacious and very neat as well as modern and the breakfast was one of the best I've had on my travels. Thank you!!!

Booked into the hotel for the final two nights of our trip to Greece. The rooftop pool was a real drawcard as we were looking to relax prior to the pending long flights. We, and other couples (and their children) were unable to enjoy the pool area due obscene language and unacceptable drunken behaviour by a group of young males and females. The staff did nothing about ...

We got on the train from the airport and got of at Syntagma station where the hotel is just about a minute walk away. Syntagma is the best place to stay and Astor hotel is one of the good price hotel. Since we arrived about 8am, the room was not yet available (we have the impression that this hotel is always fully booked so better book early). Check in staff was very f...

The only gripe about this and every other hotel I've been to in Greece is that the endless masses of American tourists have affected the way the hotels write things/describe things/food portions etc. Buffet breakfasts with tons of carbonised bacon and maple syrup and giant plates to satisfy giant appetites, all wording in American English (zucchini, eggplant etc), my o...

What a gem this place is. Perfect location for exploring Plaka, Monestraki flea market and the Acropolis. Just steps away from the main shopping street. Rooms are modern, really nicely appointed & beds are reallly comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in your room. The hotel also has a lift so getting to your room is not an issue. One...

We booked totally 6 hotels for our trip to Greece. Kymothoe Elite is no doubt the best one! The room is very cozy and well equipped. It has a beautiful pool and the view is devine. The owner Nikos is a very warm-hearted person. He gave us a lot of useful advice for the trip in Zakynthos and helped us with a safe car rental. He even showed us secluded beach of the hotel...

This villa has an incredible sunset view. We were all in awe as we watch the sun slowly disappear in the horizon. The staffs are amazing, especially Demitris the manager, who is very hospitable and never fails to attend to our needs. We can’t wait to be back!

Everything was PERFECT! This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! Our resort was in the perfect location - gorgeous view, friendly staff, beautiful room with a hot tub, and delicious breakfast! We would highly recommend this property!

Amazing hotel, right on the beach! I was there with my husband for 6 night and we had the best time. Initially we planned to visit every day another beach on Kasandra, however when we saw how close and nice the private beach of the hotel was, we stayed entire time there. Sun beds are included in the price, so you do not need to pay extra. We had Breakfast and dinner in...

The hotel room panoramic had a nice view in part but wasn't panoramic as we looked on both sides at apartment buildings ( level2) Room was very very tired with old furniture in bad condition, peeling wall paper and stain on walls - zero sound proofing, we had to introduce ourselves at 4 am to the group of young men returning home from a night out as it was like they w...

I have to be honest and say that I was quite disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and well staffed. However the only staff who impressed me was the porter. We booked junior suite with CALDERA VIEW. When we checked in and were brought to our suite (it was a loft), we were quite shocked to see that the suite did not have any windows (except a tiny one at the upstairs of ...

Booked the 2 bed apartment on the bottom floor. Massive living room with old charm. Kitchen and 2nd bathroom was separate opposite the terrace. Hot tub was heated and was lovely. There were quite a number of mosquitoes, but dionysis was very helpful and immediately bought us insect repellent. Overall he was attentive to all our needs. Wonderful stay.

We came for 4 days just to relax, read a book and enjoy the sun.. I have to say that at first we were in shock of how nice the people and the stuff treated us! and than when we took a look a round it was so amazing! The hotel is isolated and have the best facilities with the best view! a private beach, multiple swimming pools, some are for adults only so no chance o...

My husband and I stayed for 3 days with our friends. Lovely greeting by the reception staff on our arrival who showed us around the hotel and invited us for a free cocktail. Pool and views are spectacular. Lots of variety for breakfast but glad we didn’t choose the all inclusive option as people we spoke to didn’t seem to rate it and there are so many good restaurants ...

Wonderful staff picking us up to/from the airport Everyday we were greeted by the staff whenever we see them. Everything you wanted or requested for, they present it gracefully. Very very helpful staff. The room was perfectly cleaned everyday when we were out. They even hang our clothes for us. Jacuzzi and the candles makes everything very romantic. We can have br...

Had a great three nights here and the staff was very friendly. The room was beautiful, but our only issue was that we were given a room that is was said to be an "upgrade" without being asked first. Staff were very sweet but training could be improved- especially when youre working at a hotel that charges $1500 per night. Ex. 3 out of 3 breakfast orders came totally wrong. At times we ordered off the menu directly- same verbage- and they had zero idea what you were t...

Very friendly staff. Spectacular views glorious pool and an amazing array of delicious choices for breakfast both healthy and not so healthy. The trip down to the beach was made so easy by the shuttle service provided which was regular and efficient. We were even spoilt at the beach with a private section and beach waiter!
