The hotel is ideally located as it so near the National Concert Hall, St Stephen's Gardens, Grafton Street and all the main attractions of Dublin. The hotel is 2 kilometers from the city center (~25 minute walk). The rooms were older and the hot water in the shower would go from hot to cold and even stopped coming out of the shower head. My room was enormous and luxuriously equipped with a full-size bathtub for soaking after a long day exploring. The breakfast was substantial and served in a lovely dining room. Located right in the heart of Kinsale, the Old Bank captures the beauty of being right downtown. We had the perfect stay in Kinsale and the Old Bank was a part of that feeling. We couldn't recommend the Grove Lodge more highly. We'd award it 6 stars if we could. We stayed 3 nights in a very nicely appointed room with an extremely comfortable bed. The gardens were lovely and the location at the top of the Ring of Kerry and only a few miles from the Dingle Peninsula made it VERY easy to see both.

The grounds in the Clarion Hotel which was originally a hospital are beautiful, an ideal location for a wedding or that special occasion.

I never expect much when booking one of the cheaper hotels in an area, but this was the most amazing surprise. We landed in a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room. I was so excited I literally used some of the ample room to do a cartwheel. The included breakfast was also a delightful treat and lovely way to start the day.

We traveled by car touring the area. We found this hotel late in the day. For the price it was clean & comfortable with a good location. The front desk staff was friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. Close to fast food restaurants. Being from the states we recognized the name so on short notice we felt comfortable with the choice.

Beautiful hotel centrally located in the historic city of Waterford. The location of the hotel affords easy access to all the city has to offer.

We went to use their swimming pool, it was ok although the elevator to guest room and swimming pool are different one and it caused us the confusion. We had dinner there and the food was great...the services was great too. Location, it was a bit further and if you are not a golfer probably it won't be worth to stay here but if you are a golfer then it worth stay.

Be careful booking. We r 2 couples and accidentally booked as double rooms for one person. We were charged more than double up on checking out. Nobody informed when checking in. We would have been better to book 4 rooms.....rediculous!

We had a wonderful stay at The Abbey hotel. They upgraded us to a suite because we arrived a bit earlier than expected. The location is out of this world. I would highly recommend The Abbey to anyone going to Donegal Town.

We went to the hotel for a family wedding. Lived up to expectations. Really good rooms and excellent food. Great location.Difficult to find any faults. i stayed for one night with my mum, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the cosy bar. we also made use of the beauty salon and had manicures which were excellent and the staff could not have been better.

We had a family room, with good wifi, good friendly service and a beautiful hot breakfast every morning. The hotel bar and restaurants food and cocktail menu was superb. Bus stops right outside the hotel for travelling to letterkenny & Derrry. Staff are egar to help. I also fully recommend crana stables.

The afternoon tea is definitely to be tried as a special treat. Breakfast is a fantastic spread as so much choice and fresh. The hotel itself is a nice one... breakfast very good, staff the same but it is a 25 minute walk into the town and if you are getting a taxi it is €10 each way.. Kilkenny itself was amazing - the people are so generous - spoiled for choice in eating out but would stay in the centre when visiting again.

We went to Kilkenny to enjoy the Catlicks comedy festival. Had a lovely long weekend at this hotel. The spa facilities were good, the bar was nice, we didn't taste the food though. Our room had dual aspect windows which made it a nice bright room, and there was a large bed!
