Jordan hotels & accommodations

Good location, nice breakfast at Cafe Italia, bed was very comfy, the gym was small but good. Disappointing the pool in our block was closed so we had to walk to another block. The pool is very basic, not amazing. Very expensive but so is everywhere else in Jordan! One female member of staff looked at in disgust for no apparent reason, perhaps because we didn't have ...

My wife and me were really delighted and surprised by the kindness and help of all the hotel staff. Really professional and showed the good Jordan hospitality. The breakfast was very good , it is more than money for service value, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for business or leisure hotel in Amman.

This was the highlight of my third trip to Jordan. At reception you are greeted with a drink and a large brass platter of dates and local pastries. The rooms were top class with flat screen TVs. Extremely nice bathrooms - my room had a separate sitting room & the bedroom has a view of the waterfall & balcony. The spa was incredible - hot spring pool under the water...

This is by far the best hotel I’ve been to in Amman. The rooms are spacious & very clean. While eating breakfast, a hotel rep came by and asked for our thoughts on the hotel and if we recommend any ideas and/or complaints. Breakfast selection, by the way, was very large. Will definitely return in the near future.

Out of all hotels we stayed in Jordan, this hotel stands out in service standards, cleanliness, smiling staff and ofcourse pvt access to Dead Sea. Recommend their big hearty breakfast, their deluxe rooms and pool. They surely know how to WOW their customers. Will return to this hotel!

It was a good that I took this hotel on my last night in Jordan. It was like treating myself a favor. Our luggage were carried right from the back of my car into my room, I did not even need to find a parking, they did it all for me (there is an issue about this that I will tell later). Breakfast was good enough for me. There is an issue that I realize, but did not rai...

We really enjoyed our time at the Movenpick . Charming, quiet (now is a good time to visit Jordan as tourism is a fraction of capacity) lovely staff and a great break especially after all that walking and climbing in Petra . It is different from the rest of Jordan because of its luxury and is isolated as there is no public transport there. We were apprehensive becaus...

This hotel is a really good hotel, I have stayed in many hotels in Amman but this hotel ranks one of the top for me. The people were extremely friendly and they were able to provide us a top quality service even though the hotel was fully booked. I highly reccommend and there breakfast is a must

It’s a great place to stay if you’re in Aqaba to enjoy snorkeling or diving. I couldn’t see any reason to go into the city itself unless it was for an expensive meal out, airport, or crossover to Israel. South Beach and Bedouin Garden were perfect for my first three days in Jordan! Good if always the same breakfast of fried eggs, sliced tomatoes/cucumbers, pita bread...

We stayed here for 3 days and were very pleased with our selection. The hotel is well situated near restaurants, shops, banks and anything you require. The free Wi-Fi in the room was great as it allowed us to catch up on a few things. Breakfast was fresh and the coffee brewed, not like the Nescafe you find in most other places in Jordan. And our room was huge, maybe...

This is a ridiculous price for a hotel in Jordan. However, I needed a place near the airport and this is the only hotel nearby. That said, the staff was very courteous and helpful. My flight came in at 3am and I needed a place to sleep for a few hours before leaving again at 3pm. Although checkout time was 12pm, they let me stay until 2pm. The room was clean and q...

Very nice reception staff, always friendly and happy to solve any problem you might have. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious- one of the best we had during our stay in Jordan. Our room was comfy, spacious and quiet. Althought the hotel is not right in the old town, you can get there by taxi within 10mins for about 1.50JOD. Taxi' s are cheap in Amman and there is alwa...

This place is near to the beach (Japanese Garden, Gorgon I , Gorgon II, Seven Sisters and The Tank - http://www.aqabasanchor.com/#!divesitesinaqaba/c1z4z ), where you can sunbathe, snorkel or dive. There is also diving club so you can do some fun diving without any certification or you can make some PADI course or just use their diving service. The restaurant of the re...

Me and my family spent more than great time, the price is reasonable according to the facilities and the level of luxury. The resort is full of magnificent pools, you cant feel it's crowded even if the hotel is fully booked. There are play activities all over the hotel, you will never get bored there. I didnt like: The lobby was so hot, it is not well conditioned ...

I was informed that Agoda did not managed to book me in the hotel and thus my booking is not reflecting in their system. I have to wait for quite sometime specially when I arrived there are plenty of guest checking in as it is a weekend. One thing I have consider is that the timing from the place I came from is one(1) hour earlier than in Iqaba. This is due to daylight...

We went to 5 different hotels in Jordan over a period of 8 days. This was the most expensive one and also the one with the least competent and friendly staff. I guess in some other countries you could not complain, here I am just comparing hotels in the same country. Even much cheaper hotels did much better here. Cleanliness was also an issue. The rooms were pretty go...

i was very impressed with the service at la maison hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. i traveled from the border crossing near eilat. i was concerned with my transfer to la maison hotel. i could have taken a taxi from the border to aqaba then a bus to petra. trying to make the best of my time i asked the hotel for a taxi to meet me at the border. they sent...

The Marina Plaza Hotel Tala Bay is a convenient stop over in Aqaba. It is located very close to the beach and has a great swimming pool and restaurant for families. We did not dive or book any trips but the front desk can take care of all of that for its guests. The rooms were a little out dated and semi-comfortable, but overall we felt the place was overpriced. Howeve...

After parking my car outside the hotel, I entered the hotel and checked-in at Level 5 of the main building. Then I went down to Level 2, where breakfast is served between 06:30 and 10:30, and there is a large circular swimming pool surrounding by clusters of hotel rooms. The rooms are arranged in such a way that every room has a view of the pool or the sea. (Mine is fa...

Good, solid hotel with great staff. Nice breakfast and great location just 500 steps from the Petra Park entrance. No gym though, but great pools. Rooms were older and clean, but wiring and plugs for modern computer / devices is challenging. It's a good value compared to the other hotels in the area, and great location for access to every where in town and for the ...
Cheap places to stay in Jordan

I took a chance booking this hotel as there were some negative comments online: they were wrong. It's a great place if you don't mind clean, a bed, and a bathroom. There are other room options if you want to save money. The breakfast is huge and filling (but never changes). The location is central & can't be beat. But the best thing is the manager and the staff. Hany ...

The hostel has perfect location, in the centre of downtown with every major landmark nearby. The staff was super nice and helpful, and very accomodating. The rooms and toilets are also clean and tidy. You can find one of the most economical tours over here as well, for almost every destination in Jordan. will definitely come to cliff hostel if I ever visit jordan ...

The owner of the hotel is super awesome. Due to the problem in the room we booked, the owner arranged us to stay in his house, which was like super upgraded for us. We got to stay in the house with the entire floor belong to us, with 2 huge rooms and kitchen freely to use. The owner also arranged us to have super delicious breakfast cooked and prepared by his lovely wi...

I have been staying this hotel for 5 days in total. The hotel locates in downtown. Ali who is manager here is super gentle and interesting! He invites me to meals and cooks for me:) The cooking and he makes is delicious!! When I did the procedures for extending my visa, he was kind enough to help me:) He also give me some advices of traveling, restaurant, etc. Room is...

I stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Petra. The hotel was all it should have been accept for the fridge that didn't work in my room and the lack of hot water.....but who cares in summer, you get that on the big jobs. I walked back from Petra twice. Cosy stay. Cheap. Did the job.

I highly recommend The Boutique Hotel in Amman. I arrived as a solo traveler who had never been to Jordan, and the staff here have made my transition to Jordan smooth and hassle-free. Nestled in the heart of downtown/City Center in Amman, the hotel is a block or less from some of Amman's best restaurants, including Hashem, Al Quds, Jafra, Umsiat, and Habiba Sweets, a...

My husband and I stayed here and loved the hotel! For breakfast each day I had pita bread with hard boiled egg, tomato, multiple types of feta, labneh, & za'atar soaked in olive oil. I miss that breakfast. Also, the room was spotlessly clean, and roomier than anything else we had in Jordan. My favorite hotel in Jordan!

We three people, a couple and our 20 year old daughter really enjoyed this hotel. The roof top terrace overlooking the St George Church and a mosque beyond was a cool place to relax both in the afternoon and of a evening. We ate a wonderful full breakfast there too, presented expertly, of excellent quality and served to us so that we felt honoured. It is not a flash ho...

I booked for a double bed room and they said they dont have it because some other guests decided to continue their stay in what supposed to be my room. Offered me a 3 single beds room as a replacement and i declined (why on earth i need two extra single beds?) and they gave me a room with 2 single beds. I took it because i was tired. low pressure for the hot shower(som...

I visited the Bedouin camp with my son, age 14. We spent 3 nights, which was almost too short. A four hour jeep tour and the next day a three hours camel drive. Eghab, the owner, is amazing. Native Bedouin, young, very easy to contact and fluent in English. He organises everything you wish and even found a camel driver who was prepared to let us ride our camels oursel...

Hands down, best hostel in Amman. I've stayed in several, and the cleanliness and atmosphere here are on par with the best of jordan. i stayed here with a friend in between apartments. Remarkably comfortable beds and daily room cleaning -- none of the smells one comes to expect from most budget options in Jordan. Yes, the street can be loud, but it's Downtown Amman -- ...

Thanks for a great experience in winter in the desert with the Arabian Nights staff and community. We had a short time to stay before other travels in Jordan, and it's a little confusing to understand the options and means of transport for access to the Wadi Musa area and camps, even from Aqaba or Amman. The Bedouin family and staff were terrific, the fire and blanke...

Hotels in Jordan are typically not in the back packer budget, yet Saba'a is close. Rooms are clean and breakfast is suitable. The staff is friendly. It is typical is a backpacker spot. While they have hot water for the shower, it is only at certain times of day. Even then, we never seemed to get hot water. Still, I would stay here again. It is a bit of a walk downhill ...

To put this into context, the hotel rates itself according to Agoda at 0 stars. Therefore if you book this prepare to have very low expectations. I stayed one night before leaving for Petra. This is a budget place in my opinion that is suitable for no longer. I cancelled my 2 night return booking because of how dirty the bathrooms were. If you are like me, where you l...

I booked this place because of their good reviews. We were short on time and we didn't have time to look around to compare prices, we booked this place for the peace of mind that we would be in safe hands. When we arrived, the jeep tour prices was quoted higher than usual. We expressed our dissatisfaction and a partial refund was subsequently given. I think the owner...

The nicest owner ever, hotel offers a breakfast, dinners and lunchboxes. Room was clean and spacious. It's 20 minutes walk to down the hill to Petra, it's not the closest one you can find, but the cheaper in all town. If you don't like to walk, you can take a taxi, there are lots of them like everywhere in Jordan :)

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is very nice right in the city center which is close to the restaurant, souvenir shops, and money exchange. The service from staffs is very good especially, the receptionists, however, the breakfast is not enough in my opinion but this is all the same over the hotel in Jordan.

Everything was really nice. Hani (owner of the camp) is very kind. He and his colleagues provided us with everything we needed. Also these guys can arrange for you tors in Wadi Rum for affordable price. That was a really good experience. Highly recommended

Great location and the breakfast is the best during my Jordan trip. We booked a double room but found it was just a bigger single bed so we paid an extra 10 JD for a twin room with balcony. All the staff were fine especially the housekeeper. However, the young man in night shift made us upset. The first night we arrived he didn't tell us anything about the hostel but o...

We had a very pleasant stay at Mussa Spring. The staff here were all very helpful and assisted us with arrangements for everything from taxis, tours, buses, food, everything really. They helped us with an overnight stay and all transport to Wadi Rum, early morning transport to Petra, public bus to Amman, all with reasonable prices compared to tourist pricing in the tow...

Good quality Sanitary wares and Shower design basics is the same for that of 5 star Hotels. Location is next to many important facilities: 1.hypermarket 24 Hrs opened, 2. Bus station to go to Betra and other parts of Jordan and, 3. Swefiea (صويفية) Community , & Nafeesa Sweets (نفيسة) 4. 12 minutes from a Masjid, 5. next to Airport road.

I was amazed with the quality of this hotel and its professional and welcoming staff. I was traveling with my wife and two kids from Australia and we found this hotel very convenient and pleasant to stay at. It is very well located close to all amenities. M. Maghaydah, 18/7/2016.

We came to the Ayass Hotel in Amman after a cold and dusty stay in petra and wadi rum so this 4 star hotel was a joy. We had an executive suite which was really spacious for the the 4 of us, it was clean but some surfaces needed a bit more dusting. Really large comfy bed. We had great service (greeted at the door.. Concierge.. Free spa treatment..) and children totally...

In Jordan nothing is close to each other so regardless of where you stay you need a taxi. But it's still a good location cause most places where a $3-$5 ride. Hotel is very clean and nice. Can't tell by the way it looks outside when you first get their but once you walk inside it is nice. Just keep in mind that they have a lot of weddings on the weekends. But it usuall...

What stood out for me is the easy access to most of the places in Amman. It looks abit old but it’s okay for a couple who want a cheap hotel with a nice view to the city. I appreciate the upgrade they gave us. The bathrooms though are terrible, very tight and you can’t moce freely. Badly designed and AC isn’t great and fees like the room is dusty. I wish the windows c...

i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my friends. i have to say the staff were fantastic, on the first night we arrived late and wanted some food. the staff called the local takeaway for us and ordered some food, which was delivered straight to our apartment door for a reasonable price. the room was very tidy and the bedrooms were lovely. each floor had its own wifi...

The Golden Tulip Grand Palace is a very adequate western style hotel. While it is certainly dated in decor and showing its age a bit, the rooms are more than adequate, with satellite TV, free wifi (with routers on each floor) and wonderful marble bathrooms (with good water pressure in the showers). This is certainly a good value, at less than half of the price of the...

the hotel was centrally located, pretty much walk able to lot of restaurants. The Roman theater and Citadel were around $2 uber ride away. The morning breakfast included lot of prepared food and freshly made omelettes along with fruits to eat on the go. I highly recommend this hotel even though it is a little pricey for budget travelers at $90 per night.

Situated about 4km from downtown Amman, just off the main highway from the airport, the Olive Tree is a convenient but quiet base from which to explore Amman itself. Staff offer a very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. There is an large entrance lobby with plenty of comfortable seating as well as a small cafe. The restaurant is to the rear of this area and ...

This hotel is probably one of the best in Jordan without exaggeration. I was here a few nights with my wife and we enjoyed our stay with the best service. The staff, Lina among who helped me a lot, are genuinely nice and we even got to know Chef A'laa with his amazing platters. Room service was also prompt and exceptional.

We went in the height of summer and were almost the only westerners in the whole hotel, however we didn't feel at a disadvantage in any way - both staff and other guests were very friendly and pleasant. It is a family hotel so there were lots of children running about and playing in the (rather small) pools, so if you're bothered by the shrieks of kids enjoying themsel...

I had a room facing the road, it was extremely noisy at night as the cars were passing with full accelerator and speed. I requested them to change my room but they refused me due to being fully booked. I know the noise was not from hotel, but the hotel windows and walls are not soundproof. I recommend you to request for room on other side.

My wife in I arrived in Jordan late. The wonderful couple that run the hotel met us outside and told us where to park. They showed us the room and asked if we wanted to have tea - we declined because we were tired. Breakfast was great. We left early and I think the couple running the place were very sad we did not visit with them more. Overall it was great.

Kempinski is a great hotel. Its location is of utmost important. It is located in area where a lot of restaurants are available to your own likings. There is also a big supermarket called FOOD CITY, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. KFC is also available so as Burger King. Both are on other sides of the hotel within walking distance. The setback is Kempinski has not make ...

excellent always stay there, the best hotel in Jordan for the price never tried food there but really like the spa and the gym the best in Jordan, location is great close to everything, only wish rooms were a bit larger holiday inn have bigger rooms for a lot cheaper price, but the quality is not as good as the royal, the name alone is classy royal.

Hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of great restaurants in the Second Circle and 10 mins walk to Rainbow St. The room was comfortable and I slept well. The pool is a good size with a great relaxing terrace area. Breakfast was ok; there were a lot of choices, could be a little tastier but it was good enough to start the day. There are free laundry machines (yo...

We had what is possibly one of the best stays in terms of value for money and service ever. The resort is modern, light, airy. There are three pools, including a very big one (25 m long) above the beach, a swim up bar and lots and lots of space so you can still have privacy by the main pool. The beach is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel and is big and extremely sc...

This hotel is lovely. I originally only booked one night but enjoyed it so much that I stayed another night. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. When I arrived the Manager even upgraded my room to a suit that had a massive wrap around outdoor terrace overlooking the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay...

The best experience on our 5 day trip in Jordan. The most amazing staff. The most amazing pools and the experience in the dead sea with the support staff was simply amazing. They made the dead sea experience so comfortable for people by managing lines, towels, fresh water to wash off eyes. The coffee shop was amazing. The dinner and the breakfast buffet was sheer delig...

We booked to stay at Kempinski Aqaba for 1 night in January. We had wanted to pamper ourselves in a 5-star hotel after living it “rough” in Petra and camping in Wadi Rum on preceding nights. We know Kempinski is a 5-star hotel but the hotel’s service and décor is way beyond our expectations! From the main gate entrance where our car was checked right until the time ...

nice rooms but are slowly getting worn out. e.g. plug boxes beside the bed are dirty, deep scratches in the flooring, showers are sandy,... rocky hotel beach, with possibility to do Dead Sea mud body coating, which is super fun and free. the hotels steam bath, hammem and sauna are not build yet.... but visitors can use spa. the in house Lebanese restaurant is ama...

From start to finish, the service was impeccable. From arranging a bottle of prosecco and balloons to our room for my boyfriend's birthday to greeting us at breakfast and being extremely helpful at all times. The hotel is nicely located and offer a beautiful view to the mountain. The sun sets are very nice, especially from teh big terrace at the pool side, where you can enjoy some drinks or food. Overall experience is that this is a good hotel. However, like so many outlets in jordan, they do suffer from "people"!! I don't know if it is "lack" of training, or that the people just don't know what customer service is about...or are they just lazy???....but there is room for "vast" improvement!! As I said, this is not just a Crone plaza problem, as I have seen sa...
