Great location”
Convenient location, shopping mall next door so lots of dining options. Hotel rooms are dated but reasonably clean, some attention to detail however required by housekeeping. When I checked in, there was a leftover toothpaste tube at the back of the sink and a clothes hangar left on the wall picture frame! Plenty of toilet amenities etc available but not sure why toothbrush packs are left in the bedside table drawer instead of at the basin sink.

Very good hotel”
The hotel room is amazing. It's big and comfortable. All basic necessities are provided so u really don't need to worry in case you forgot to bring anything. Also, the location of this hotel is very good. It's about ten minutes walk from chaoyangmen station. This station is accessible to a lot of the attractions in Beijing as well as to the airport.! I will definitely stay in crown plaza chaoyang utown if I go to Beijing again!

Great location but room rate are expensive.”
I was with my wife and son went to beijing for a six days holiday trip and happen to select Crowne Plaza Chaoyang U-Town as our prefer hotel because of it location and global reputation. after the 6 days stay and I only have 2 comments as follows: 1)Hotel are new and rooms size are Ok. but based on the rate we are paying/night, about S$200++ without braekfast. personally I feel is to expensive. there are alot of 5 star with that kind of rate come with BF. 2)Staff service are good and friendly. but hotel food are very expensive.

Beautiful hotel in a great location”
Had a great stay at Crowne Plaza, excellent location situated ajoined to a mall. Very close to Sanlitun bar area. Reasonable price & staff were friendly. Restaurant was a bit disappointing as there was only a chinese restaurant & a western cafe. Sofa in our bedroom was rather dirty. Would definitely stay here again

Great hotel side by side with U-Town Mall”
U-Town mall is just next door. Good brands and food. But the mall was not full occupied. The hotel was awesome. Free WiFi in the lobby, hi speed, I can use skype from ipad. Not many taxi pass by the hotel even it location in the middle of business area, but the staff very helpful to find the taxi for you. The room was excellent, bed was so good. I was there fo conference, the ball room also great. Excellent gym and indoor pool

nice hotel for business trip”
Hotel is nice. Has wifi in the rooms. Overhead shower leaked horribly, dumping about a gallon of water on the floor. Decent sized room for Beijing. Nice exercise room. Pretty good area, lots of reasonable eating options in the mall next door--Blue Frog if you need some Western food. 7-11 to the right and across the street. Only odd thing is the taxi driver from the train station did not know where it was even with the address written in Chinese. He had me call the hotel so he could talk with them. Taxi driver coming back from Great Leap Brewery also did not know where it was.

Good value for the money”
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was very comfortable and staff helpful. The only critique I have is that the indoor pool was freezing and not comfortable to swim in the middle of winter. Otherwise, great time!

Great Location”
The Hotel just started operation recently was told they starts operation just a couple of months back. Thereby everything are new, the bed are comfortable and large. Great location with short travelling time to the Temple of Heaven and the nightspots around Sanlitun and Workers Stadium. There are some shopping mall within close proximity. It is quite inconvenient to locate food during late night in Beijing, but nearby to the hotel there is a 711, Macdonald and Burger King. Generally the staffs attitude are friendly and nice, somehow the housekeeping need more improvement. Will consider returning to the hotel again mainly for the location.

Best hotel in area”
We stay at this hotel frequently, almost every time visiting Beijing (aprx once a month). As our business is close to Ritan park, this hotel is the best one to stay in. It's new, it's clean, even smells very fresh everywhere. Staff is perfectly helpful. Even for our partners who doesn't stay at the hotel, they're always ready to catch a cab for you, order reservation in restaurant or help with any other request. Rooms are great as well, you'll never regret if book a bit more expensive deluxe or business or family room - differs pretty much and feels a lot luxurious!

pleasant experience”
i booked the hotel couple hours before my trip and after the usual flight delay, i arrived at the hotel at around 8pm. staff was very nice and helpful. my room was at the corner and the view was awesome. location was excellent. there is a mall right next to it and there are enough restaurants and bars in the mall. food in the hotel was a tard expensive but i guess that's very common in beijing. i guess the only complaint was non-complimentary internet access in the room.

Great Location Hotel ”
The Hotel location is absolutely fantastic with Shopping Malls located almost next to the Hotel itself. The rooms are sparkling clean & all the English Speaking Staffs & both friendly & professional. The only regret is that the Wifi internet services is not free. Anyway I would recommend this hotel to any travelers to Beijing.

After several hotel staying in Beijing, I finally found the right one to stay. Nice hotel with a comfortable room & good service. In addition, the block is clean & safe. You can easily find good place/restaurants around the block. It only takes few minutes to walk to the underground station. I will definitely choose the hotel in the future.

Quite disappointed stay at Crowne Plaza Beijing”
It’s my first time staying in Beijing Crowne Plaza. The front door is small and not easy to found. The taxi driver dropped me off 50M away from the hotel. Overall impression to this hotel is ok at this price. However, I assume this as a business hotel but I was quite disappointed as there’s no free internet access. The bed sheet and quilt cover is quite rough.

Good location”
the hotel is very new/redeveloped part of town so taxi driver may not know where it is yet. its connected to a small shopping mall and there are a host of small eateries nearby. the hotel itself is small but adequate for a comfortable/clean place to stay thats close to the sanlitun. as it is new there are still some teething problems with the rooms, our shower area did leak but their maintenance staff were fairly responsive. the staff at the front desk also spoke good english.

Nice hotel, great location but language a problem”
Nice interiors, both rooms and the building as a whole. Consistent with the Crowne Plaza brand but staff doesn't seem to understand or speak english very well. Managed 3 nights of it with my "Mandarin" but had the last straw on the 4th day when it was an emergency and the staff that tried to help me insisted that she doesn't english very well. Am I asking for too much? Maybe.. but as a 5 star hotel I would expect the staff to be able to converse in English. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel was in a nice section of Beijing. It was connected to a mall which makes it nice in the winter if one has to go buy something quick to go find a simple meal. The best part of the hotel was the yummy breakfast.

Beautiful new hotel”
This place is the best hotel I think I have stayed at anywhere in China. The rooms are very nicely done,all very smart indeed, with large bathrooms, seperate showers, big beds, lots of windows and a large desk. It is not quite a suite, but not far off. I dodnt get to see the area much, but there is a german beer kellar on the ground floor with home brew, which looked like it would be a good pub. There is also a Blue Frog cafe/bar restaurant next dor, which serves decent western bar food and is a good option for lunch too. I would certainly stay here again, tho it was not ver convenient or places i wanted to go. There also seemed to be a shopping mall next door whih might offer more food & drink & entertainment options.
