The facilities in the hotel were very good. The thing that impressed us most was the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were courteous, friendly and genuinely nice. We travel all over the world and have stayed in top class hotels but we have never met such lovely people anywhere. They deserve 5 stars just for their staff

I have to say that Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh is one of finest hotels that I stayed at. even though it is an old resort, but they are keeping it in a good shape. I loved every details of its architecture. whenever I'm back in Sharm, Movenpick will be my choice

Despite friendly and very helpful restaurant staff that made the stay durable there is no way I can recommend this hotel. I have given 5 stars for those staff, but most of the staff behind the front desk are rude unhelpful morons - no concept of 'welcome to our hotel' with a friendly smile, which is what you need at 3 am when you arrive. Everything was good except the location of the hotel. They should include the transportation regarding their far location. Also there is one point I dislike which is ( they charge if you didn’t return the key card of the room ) this is the first hotel doing this case.

a decent and clean resort- though not spectacular. lovely pool area and has its own private beach. fairly well priced too. it is excellently located right in na'ama bay. so if you are looking to stay in the heart of the action in sharm el sheikh (including shopping centres, clubs, restaurnats,pubs, glitz and glam) then na'ama bay is where you want to be.

I would give the Grand Sharm 3 maybe 3.5 stars, not the 5 that they claim. The room we were in was not that comfortable. The Sol Sharm hotel was not one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. It was pretty old and a little outdated. There is a nice swimming pool there. The food on the buffet was good and breakfast was all inclusive. There are a lot of Russians there that drink and smoke a lot and are pretty loud. I stayed for an over night in the hotel. The hotel is somehow close to the airport, however it's far from the activities in Neama Bay but somehow close to Soho Square, so location isn't the best. The swimming pool was nice, the rooms were comfortable, the location is far from Namma Bay, a shuttle bus always full and I have to take a Taxi to Namma Bay. Make sure you just cross the street and take a Van service, the cost is 3 Egyptian pounds / person rather than paying 55 pounds for the hotel Taxi. My experience of Sharm I think was changed by this hotel alone. The hotel is well kept, the staff are super friendly but still allow you to enjoy your own space and it is fantastically located right on the edge of Naama Bay, so you can either take part in the activity on the Bay or enjoy the chilled out decking around the pool on the top of the hotel - great views too!...

Perfect service and excellent staff. We enjoyed the stay in this hotel much. The hotel area and the private beach was clean. Positive is the close proximity to the Old Market of Sharm-El-Sheikh, not more than 2 minutes walk. Would definitely recommend.

Probably one of the two best hotels of Sharm with Four Season. The facilities of the Royal are exclusive compared to the normal Savoy and the staff is very dedicated. It is 15 mn from the real Down Town of Sharm but it is located on the spot of the very famous outdoor mall. Definitely great !
