Find hotels near Huairou District in Beijing, China

I will definitely return to this hotel. It's in the most perfect location and you can see the Great Wall from your room if you book a room with a GW view, the bed is very comfortable, restaurant food is delicious, and the foot & body massages at the spa were some of our best ever. The only downside is the bathroom toilet lacks a door, so it can make it a bit awkward, although we just laughed at it or left the room when the other person needed privacy. They provide eye masks for the plenty of windows which is great. The front desk speaks perfect English and helped us immensely with great wild section routes, taking us to/from the wall, and back to Beijing or the bus stop if you'd like. We took a taxi from Beijing and they found it no problem. A beautiful hotel built with a lot of love that is apparent in every detail. Highly recommend!!

This Hotel was sort of a half way point between Nanshan ski resort, huaibei ski resort and Huairou District. So in that sense it was a good place. It is about a 20-30 rmb ride using Chinese Uber to Huaibei resort and abouy the same to Huairou District centre. Other than that there is a local supermarket next to the restaurant and a few restaurants. Pretty much still in the middle of no where though.

I am a beijingnese but been living abroad well traveled worldwide staying all sort of high end hotels. However this is the first time I would like to write a review for a hotel. Being sceptical at the beginning about the service standard due to some reviews but was only surprised by the high level of professional attentive care to guests. Our family has 9 members with old and young, we have arrived very late after 10pm but The receptionist Enlain Wang was extremely helpful and sorted out our rooms upon arrival with minimum check in time. My Parents' room was also upgraded to suite. Check out was also equally swift. Surroundings are beautiful countryside, a lovely retreat for weekend getaway from Beijing. Only an hour drive from the city. We had a wonderful weekend and wil definitely come back.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband on his birthday - when we arrived there were no guests only us !! We were immediately upgraded to a room with a view of the Great Wall and our room was lovely - the view was outstanding !! As we were the only guests we had to inform them in the mornings if we were going to eat in the hotel - which we did every evening as the everything closed in the village at 6pm - the food was simple and tasty and big portions and the staff ( one lovely lady called Li ) took good care of us - I would definitely recommend this hotel even if it is in need of a good refurbish in the lobby the views are spectacular and well worth the money

We visited in May 2017. It looked like the area had recently had a lot of investment as all the roads and parks looked brand new. It was about a 25 minute walk to this place but along the road and then a nice path. The path isn't overly obvious - you need to walk along the main road for about 10minutes then there is a clearly marked path with words paved into it saying "hello" then newly planted trees along the way. We walked down it a bit unsure but it was right! Also if you ring the owner I'm sure he will pick you up as he looked surprised we'd managed to get there on our own. The couple that owned it were lovey, really accommodating. I couldn't recommend this place enough. There are no facilities around but they do offer food (it's not included in the price!). There was so much food and it was incredible - it was similar to the western version of Chinese (we were in china for a month and I know that's bad to say but it's true!). The rooms are nice enough - we were only there one night and crashed after walking a lot during the day. There is a subway and cafe at the wall entrance if that helps!
