The hotel is located on Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, surrounded by countless delicious snacks. There is a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and the location is excellent. The room is clean and comfortable, the mattress is of good quality, and it is relatively soundproof, providing a very good sleeping experience!

Second stay after three years - Everything is still good”
Along with Jianghan pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants, Dorsett Wuhan Hotel is a good choice for travelers, even in business or as a tourist. Line 2 metro stations are 300-400m nearby which go directly to Wuhan Tianhe Airport. Also near Yangtze Great Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower. Staff are very helpful and generally good in English speaking. Check in and out is fast and easy with proficient FO staff. Rooms are spacious and worth for money. House keeping is also good and HK staff are always hospitable. Free breakfasts are acceptable with basic chinese and western morning dishes. I like two espresso coffee machines the most as coffee is fresh and thick and bcoz espresso is not popular in China, a country of tea. The restautant is large and well decor. Overall, Dorsett Wuhan hotel is one of best choice in the city. Thank you all staff and managers of the hotel.

Surprisingly PERFECT”
I initially booked only for 1 week to see whether or not I liked this hotel. After the first 3 days, I was very delighted and then booked another 3 weeks! We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite on the 12th Floor. The main housekeeper for Room 1234 was extremely friendly and helpful. She often went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She also took special care of my mother who is 82 years old. The laundry service was always on-time and did an excellent job. The restaurant waiters were fast and efficient. Even when it was extremely busy for breakfast in the morning, they worked fast to clear and clean the tables. There were plenty of varieties for breakfast. As a Chinese person, I thought breakfast was perfect. The front desk, Carl, is very competent and helpful. I had a lot of confidence in the staff by the end of my stay. Thank you so much to all the staff at Dorsett Wuhan Hotel for helping to make our stay extremely pleasant. I will DEFINITELY stay here next time. :)

Dorsett Wuhan has a strategic location, being close to Metro Line 2, next to bus no. 401 n 402, walking distance to Hankou harbour (which has ferries service to Wuchang) n just in the centre of Jianghan pedestrian walk. There are plenty of food choices nearby n there is another night market walk just downstairs. Breakfast consists of mostly local choices. Staff are most helpful. I was given a smoking room with 'air well' view as I check in around mid nite. The next day, my room was upgraded to a non smoking room which was very much bigger with city view. I truly enjoy my hotel stay in Wuhan n will return for future visit.

Dorsett Wuhan is in such a great location, perfectly cool! Right next to walking-shopping street, night market, food court, restaurants transportation, back door connects to a shopping mall. Facilities are also great, nice and clean, comfortable bed, bathroom w/ both shower and bath tub, robes, slippers, room was very warm in winter, breakfast, and fitness room. Staffs are great some can speak English and very helpful, too. But...My room was on non-smoking floor, I still smell cigarette, I think someone next door sneaky, smoke in the room. Oh well, Chinese!!! Overall I like Dorsette Wuhan a lot and will stay there again.

We stayed one night at the Dorsett Wuhan Hotel. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was great. The location is fantastic - there are many 24-hour shops and restaurants all around. The room was also very nice. We would stay there again.

Excellent centrally located hotel”
This is an excellent hotel in a fantastic central location on Jianghan Road - right next to the pedestrian mall and night market. The first room we were allocated was very hot and stuffy with a window that faced on to an internal courtyard. We went back to reception and requested that our room be changed to a room with an external window and we were given a free upgrade to a Club room. Our room and bathroom were spacious and our bed was very comfortable. We did find it noisy at night and in the morning - noise from fellow guests who were talking loudly and slamming doors! The WiFi was very good and the staff on reception were incredibly helpful.

Good location and reasonable price”
Located along the Walking Street of Jianghan Road, only a few-minute walk brought me to the hotel. The room was kept clean and large enough for me (or even for the two). 24-hour shop in the next building. English-speaking staffs helped me. Although the price was reasonable, even it included buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time.

good location: 1. first of all, it locate at downtown city centre in Wuhan (Hanko). 2. with a good location to supermarket, restaurant, shopping street, subway(Metro) station (500~800 meters). 3. it takes 40-50minutes from airport to city Wuhan (Hanko) by shuttle bus (17CNY to Hanko; 35CNY to Wuchang, 90-120mins), and 5-10mins to this hotel by taxi. 4. for Wuhan city tour (Hanko) and the Yangtze river touring, it's a fabulous location 5. for ancient building, historical sites touring, it needs to take about 30-60mins by bus to Wuchang. 6. offering good breakfast (cafeteria)

Best decent hotel downtown”
Located on Jianghan pedestrain street, it's about the best you can find in Wuhan. Subway exit D was a straight walk down, even when Exit A is technically nearer (but faces a massive noisy dusty construction site). International fast food like Mac, KFC, Pizza Hut and Ajisen ramen. Tried local food, HK Macau cafe and jap restaurants, but the food are catered to local taste which does not work for us. (bad tasting food really). Miniso (Jap chain val shop) was along the shopping belt. Hotel is connected to a shopping mall with movie theatres and club roponggi, good for night owls but the club noises DOESNT travel to the rooms! Beds are soft and clean but rooms & towels are old.

Very nice stay at the Dorsett Wuhan”
The room worked very well for an overnight stay while I awaited my transfer flight from Wuhan to Bangkok. I was originally hesitant about staying near downtown Wuhan, as I worried there might be traffic and a long travel time between the airport and the hotel, but there was no trouble at all (I think both trips to and from the hotel to the airport took 45 minutes by taxi). The hotel's location was perfect for an hour or two of walking around the downtown district near the river. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Minuses: - Buffet breakfast a little disappointing. But Wuhan is still a a tier-2 city so that's OK. - Sound-proofing on windows need improvement as the hotel is in a busy location. Not too bad, but of concern to light-sleepers. I solved the problem by sleeping with my head under another pillow. Pluses: - Excellent location within the heart of Wuhan's food and retail area, and near subway stations. You will be able to find anything you need. - Premises are clean and room is satisfactory. In summary: highly recommended and I'll probably book the same hotel again the next time I visit.
