20/10 for SERVICE, 10/10 for COMFORT”
I would say the staff performance is one of the BEST among all the hotels I have ever stayed, it topped the Japan's service even! The staff were so welcoming and helpful that it made our stay in the hazy Beijing a great one!! LOVE IT!! Although the location is a little further from downtown, but it's actually walkable distance to 798 art zone. so it's good enough for me.

Hip, clean, convenient ”
Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We arrived late but was welcomed with a big smile by the receptionist who checked us in and also gave us an upgrade to the corner room. The corner room had a decent view of the nearby sights but nothing spectacular. However, it is very nice to have big windows to look out to in the morning. The room is very spacious and so is the bathroom. It's a real treat to have a lovely bathtub, too. We were really pleased with the room service food we ordered. It was of great quality and generous portion. Overall, most of the staff we've encountered at East Beijing were all pretty friendly and helpful. This was definitely a fantastic choice for us! The hotel is conveniently located near the art district. There's a subway station inside the mall (Indigo) which is connected to the hotel. If you have an appreciation for contemporary/minimalist design, and do not mind being away from the city centre, then this is the ideal choice.

Nice and hip hotel in BJ”
If you are looking to stay in heart of BJ, don't choose East, it's a little out of the city centre. But as this time I was only staying there to attend a fd's wedding which is close by the 798 hood, I am completely fine with the location. 5mins taxi to 798, 10mins taxi go the Koran area (Wangjing). Nice and quite hotel to stay and keep yourself out of the city centre hustle.

I stay in East Beijing because it's close to where my client is. I've stayed in a few different hotels in Beijing before, and East is by far the best value for money hotel. I love how friendly the staff are. They go out of their way to make you feel at home in a very approachable, friendly and genuine way. I ate at the hotel because of terrible air pollution while I was in Beijing. And staff like Reggie at Feast and another guy at the Japanese restaurant (unfortunately I forgot his name......) made some pretty good recommendation of what to eat, and where to visit in Beijing. I would stay there again when I'm in Beijing.

Great location connected to the line #14 within 150 meters, actually you need not go outside if the weather is not pleasant. The property is attached to the Indigo mall so there are plenty of dinning options including Middle 8 and Tiago as well as a grocery store and plenty of coffee and morning breakfast on the run. Yoy are also quite close to 798 and the hotel has some pretty good bikes available for a true Beijing experience. China mobile is also a block or two away for simm cards in case you missed the booth at the airport. The rooms are very well appointed with power blackout curtains for those late nights and much too early mornings. And, if you miss the early closing of dining in the mall restaurants the hotel has a number of options that are open later and then there is the neighbourhood for some real Beijinger food. Great place!!

just PERFECT!”
We had a great time at East Beijing. We spent 2 nights there and received an upgrade to Studio Room upon arrival. This was really great, especially because we were travelling with our 6 months old daughter. At the 1st day the weather was very good and we could enjoy the park just behind the hotel. The 2nd day was very rainy, so we could enjoy the exciting INDIGO Shopping Mall. ;-) All in all: just PERFECT!

My favourite hotel”
Lovely staff, relaxed feel. Great room. Nice touches. Breakfast room is delightful and facing east with the morning sun, with a very calm feel. I booked this for my last night in Beijing and was the perfect spot to rest up before the long flight home. I'd really recommend to anyone, they offer free bikes to guests and its near the art district which was the most vibrant and joyful part of my trip. Thank-you!

“Modern design with a twist””
Beijing is a big city and you would have to decide what area to stay in for your visit. East is a new hotel and is well designed with good restaurants and gym/Swimming pool. They also have very good wifi all over the hotel. Free!! Rooms are modern and beautiful. The hotel is connected to the indigo mall if you want to do some shopping or try some other restaurants. For the summer season the bar offers nice outdoor area. Can recommend this for all kind of travel. Staff speaks good English and helpful.

Great location - near Indigo Mall and Jingtai Metro Station. The staff wasn't really helpful in guiding us to the attraction places so do your homework if you dont wana pay extra. Singapore.

Nice Stay”
It was very nice stay at East Beijing. Hotel room is clean and it also provides Elemis toiletries. Indego shopping mall is just next to the hotel which is very convenient for shopping and dining. However, there are still some places under construction which you probably found that is an eyesore from your room. Also, underground parking is like a maze that could take some time to find out the right exit or a space that is actual near to the hotel entrance as hotel and the shopping mall share the same parking area. Other than that, it's a nice stay in general.

Beijing EAST is very similar to the Hong Kong EAST Hotel but better. Especially with the INDIGO MALL just right besides the hotel, makes life much easier/ Room is very spacey and clean and comfort with wide open park view!

We had a great stay at East Beijing. The hotel is directly next to a park and the amazing INDIGO Shopping Mall. So it was no problem that it was raining on the 2nd day... Just upon arrival we received an upgrade to Studio. That was great especially for our 6 months old daughter...

Amazing concept ”
This hotel got it right. It understood the idea of work hard and play hard! There was a huge open working space area for us to work as a team or individually. The area was spacious and comfortable. What surprised me most was the arcade in the underground bar. Well Done, East Beijing!

Awesome design hotel”
Really loved the facilities in this hotel, lots of places where you can work, play, have meetings. pool was heated and indoors (suited for beijing's bad weather). staff were very sweet, loaned me a bicycle to cycle to 798 area and helped me in every way possible. food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were delish. Really a hotel with nothing to pick on, except that it is further away from the city centre - factor in lots of time for beijing's crazy traffic if you are travelling to the city centre. Nearer airport though.

Very nice and elegant designer hotel”
I had a very comfortable stay during my visit to Beijing. Room was clean with large floor to ceiling window. Lots of thought have been put into designing this hotel, Art Deco of this hotel is really a pleasure for the eyes. However, the only area for improvement would be to instal a screen/ glass panel in between shower and toilet. Toilet seat got totally wet and paper roll soaked after every shower. Currently hotel is not near subway line (the nearest one is SanYuanQiao station). Since it is a relatively new hotel many taxi drivers do not know its location and that can be annoying. Accessibility will improve when subway line 14 reaches this area in the near future.

My husband and I had the most perfect stay at this superb hotel. We were in Beijing for forty days at the hotel visiting our family who,lived nearby. We had wonderful comfort at the hotel which made our trip just perfect. We were also pleased with Agoda rates and the simplicity of booking and all transactions.
