Very new and modern hotel, spacious.”
personally, it was very convenient to what i was doing in guangzhou. the hotel is new and the staff is still getting some of the service kinks out. they had a little trouble cancelling my credit card hold, and since my mandarin is virtually non-existant communication was difficult. this is a very chinese hotel, i did not see another western face during my stay. if you can deal with that, this is a great hotel for you. i would stay there again. the japanese toilets were an "out of control" feature.

River view, spacious room but poor breakfast experience”
This is a large well located hotel on the river near the metro and the river cruise office. The reception staff were helpfu and spend key English l, the large lobby is gloomy and uninteresting. The only negative was the breakfast. We arrived shortly before 10, breakfast finishes at 10. However when we arrived much of the food had been removed, the staff in the cooking area refused to serve us, the area was being cleaned and we were told it would take 20 minutes to turn on the hot plate! We struggled to find much to eat. We were shocked, in every other hotel we have been the breakfast closes at 10 or 10.30 but those who are in the area have full breakfast facilities for 20 minutes or so. It was clear the breakfast staff had ceased service well before we arrived. Not good enough in a large hotel.

Very new hotel with panaromic view. Bath room is huge with tub and standing shower. Has 1 restuarant for breakfast, however its closed after breakfast hour (it serves one of the simplest breakfast. Definitely not for those who take only Western Breakfast as it comes western choice is only 1egg and 1cake. Chinese choice is porridge n noodle, its simple yet filling ..) 20th level serves only dim sum n close after lunch hour .. 2nd - 5th level has a restuarant for chinese crusine. There is no hotel outlet for coffee or business meeting, i mean really no lounge nor cafe outlet at all. However, just beside the hotel and along the riverside, there is a bar cum restuarant called "Legend Of 10", something similar to Manchester United MU Club, but tis one is endorsed by Diego Maradona. Serves good coffee and english food. It even has a soho styled singing nightly except Monday. The lady boss is very friendly n warmth. Around the hotel has nothing much in the night, so this is a good place to wine, dine, have business chats, have coffee and chill out ...

Problem with booking with agoda , the room shown on sight was not correct , we got different style room then shown , spoke to manager and showed them rooms on the sight and they moved us , hope this has now been fixed ,have stayed a few times this year , breakfast is ok , not that western , TV Chanel s are not a lot to chose from ,in English

I have really disappointed on customer service counter service because when i came to hotel check in ( 14:00 ) , they said full on hotel ,so i said how long i can live in hotel and i give our phone number for their staff ,but he did not call me after 1 hours. Next time , funny story ,they said that they want to extra paid the money for hotel and they said Agoda is only order but cannot fully paid in internet .When i shown the email for i am already fully paid for this room.staff said that they arange wrong type room for me ,so i need paid the price difference.When i complaint for their manager .After this case , their manager said that they have mistakes on this case.Overall i am really disappointed.

A five star hotel with two star staff”
The room was very modern and clean. Up to a five star hotel. Very good value for the money. Yet, the staff is really inefficient and unprofessional. The breakfast was lousy food. No black coffee or espresso. Fortunately there is a coffee shop just nearby. Quite a walk from the nearest metro station (15 mins).
